Chapter 68 (Is this Love?)
The young heir told Boyi which makes Boyi a bit lost in thought and he doesn't know what to make up of that logic.
"Mmmm...okay" Boyi agrees and now then he realized that their position is close and the boy is now shy he looks at the food and enjoys the warmth of Wei Zhan's closeness.
"Let's eat and go to the office with me," Wei Zhan told Boyi, and the boy nods
All, Boyi knows is that Wei Zhan took good care of him and he eats happily and told Wei Zhan
"Zhan-ge, you are a great comforter"
Wei Zhan had a piece of cooked egg in his mouth but because of Boyi's word, it has become the most delicious food that he had ever eaten, better than any Michelin stars restaurant.
"Mmmm...delicious" Wei Zhan couldn't help but used the food to praise what is in his mind as he was eating his eyes is definitely on Boyi.
Boyi is still innocent and so he asks Wei Zhan
"The egg is delicious?" the cute boy asks and he also puts one piece of egg into his mouth and finds that it is nice but as normally nice and looks at Wei Zhan with two big round eyes.
Wei Zhan knew that the boy looking for an answer and so he became a little flirtatious
"Yeah, it is not the food but the person accompanying," Wei Zhan told Boyi with a deep look
Boyi stares hard at Wei Zhan and then he claps his hands and smiles
"Zhan-ge likes to eat breakfast with Boyi" Boyi is happy that he is a good company, he still does not understand the deep look and meaning of Wei Zhan's words and facial expressions.
Wei Zhan nods and he really pleased to see a happy Boyi now.
"Yeah, always"
Boyi chews his eggs happily and suddenly he also felt that the eggs are more delicious than any other day and he begins to chew on Wei Zhan's words as well. Boyi also felt that the eggs is suddenly more delicious than normal because Wei Zhan is beside him, eating and chatting with him.
So, while Boyi is chewing, his eyes are now looking at Wei Zhan full of admiration and dedication.
"Ge, really delicious," Boyi told Wei Zhan while he is chewing, both of them somehow lost in the vortex thinking about the meaning behind the eggs or more than that which they are still chewing away, maybe chewing into each other's heart.
After a while, Boyi finished his breakfast and he told Wei Zhan that he is going up to change his clothes to follow Wei Zhan into his office.
The boy runs up in two or three steps and when he stops in his closet, he almost finds himself in a mid-life crisis as he doesn't know what to wear. So, Boyi runs out of his room again and then downstairs where Wei Zhan is now reading his tablet and sorting out some company affairs.
"Zhan-ge, what to wear?" Boyi asks like a school kid doesn't know how to dress for the occasion.
Wei Zhan looks at the serious look of Boyi and knew that the boy wanted to get his opinion and also he doesn't what best to do going into his office.
Wei Zhan has a sweet touch in his heart looking at the boy and he pats his head
"Anything that Boyi likes," Wei Zhan told Boyi.
Boyi with his big eyes look at Wei Zhan and a little hesitate and his eyes scan Wei Zhan in his handsome formal suits and so the boy asks
"Formal or informal" the boy doesn't know where he stands when he goes into Wei Zhan's office as he is supposed to work as a model in some advertisements.
"What do you like?" Wei Zhan narrows his eyes and looks at Boyi
Boyi preference is, of course, casual but yet looking at Wei Zhan he is not sure, does all office workers so formal as he saw Li Ning is always in suits and even the bodyguards are all in smart suits.
Boyi frowns and then decide to be honest
"Casual, jeans and shirt," Boyi told Wei Zhan and waiting for approval
"Mm....that is good" Wei Zhan told Boyi with his affirmative eyes.
Boyi got his consent and he ran up again to his bedroom to change into his jeans and a nice shirt. The clock is ticking loudly somehow in his room, just like Boyi's heartbeats when he thought of going into Wei Zhan's office.
Wei Zhan waits leisurely for the boy and when he saw the boy jumping from the stairs, he was happy and both of them open the door as the security team already waiting outside to take them to the office.
Lam has his eyes light up when he saw Boyi following Wei Zhan and the team greets them respectfully
"Good morning Boss, little boss" the team had changed from little master to little boss after they heard the engagement.
Boyi felt a little strange but Wei Zhan seems to accept it with ease as he nods at them approvingly and thus the boy just follows Wei Zhan but he gave a smile.
The car drove them to the special parking lot where they got up and took the special lift to Wei Zhan's office.
All eyes were on the team this morning but it is more so on the extra person following beside the boss. The team of secretaries are of the best, they are all from graduates from the top universities. Although their ranking seems insignificant as secretaries they are so highly paying that no one wants to move from their position. They are getting top perks and pay that can be as high as a departmental manager. This is because what is on this floor is so highly confidential that only people with great attitudes and loyalties can achieve the desired results for Wei Zhan.
Now, these elite workers are like factory workers with their mouths opened and looking at the boss coming in with a cute boy beside him. All of them knew their boss, the words that descript him are simply
"Indifferent"
"Icy"
"Cold"
"Smart"
"High IQ"
The list can go on but one very prominent thing everyone knows is that if Wei Zhan can explain in two words, he will not explain in three words. Words are precious like gold to him because he is a thinking man. His personality itself is pressured and his silence is a killer.
However, now walking in is a boss who is now lowering his head talking to the cute boy like.....mmmm...what they haven't found any description or their relationship yet but the boss is now holding onto the boy's hand and seems to be listening to the little teenage boy which is rare.
Boyi was a little nervous at first walking with Wei Zhan and so his hand unconsciously holding onto Wei Zhan's sleeve at first, Wei Zhan felt the pulls and he then took the boy's hand when they are in the lift with the security team and Wei Zhan asks him softly but of course, the team can hear them
"Nervous?" Wei Zhan asks
"Mmm...." Boyi replied and was shy.
"Don't, it will be fine" Wei Zhan told Boyi
"Okay" the boy nods but his hands are a little cold and when the large palm holding him, he like the warmth.
The team in the lift is as quiet as mouse, as they knew that now their relationship is closer and everyone is happy for them. When the lift "Ding" and Li Ning is already waiting as he got a notification from Lam and he even knew that Boyi is coming.
Boyi is happy to see Li Ning, as another familiar face and he cheerful called
"PA Li, good morning" the cheerful voice seems to bring a frown on the boss, Wei Zhan looks at Li Ning whose eyes are focusing on Wei Zhan and now having a little cold sweat
"Don't tell me the boss is a vinegar jar?" Li Ning sighs internally but he quick to collect himself
"Good morning boss, little boss" an experienced PA quickly connects the two of them, Wei Zhan's brow seems a little more relaxed now.
"Mm' Wei Zhan greets Li Ning and the team walks into his office.
The secretaries are now looking at the team with their mouths open and as soon as Lam came to sit with them, they seem to form a circle around him which they did very cautiously waiting for the boss to be inside the room.
"Who! Who! Who!"
"Quick tell us"
"Or no food"
Lam's ass hasn't even touched the chair and the ladies are screaming in his ears with multiple questions.
Lam took a loud breath and then told them
"For insider information, coffee and cakes," Lam told them, and immediately Lucy went to get it for Lam as Mrs Tang who is pregnant and their team leader pushes Lucy to get it as she knew that Lam has an interest in Lucy.
Lucy is a dedicated lady of nearing thirties, she is hardworking and conscientious but never dares to think about the relationship because tin her mind who would want to marry someone with so much burden. Old elderly parents and mother are sick and there are younger siblings of two now in high school and university. All her pay is for paying and feeding her own family.
Lucy is slim and an average height and beauty but she is serious and dedicated to work and has friendly and royal characters which are the values the Lam has always been looking for.
When Lucy brought the cakes here, all the ladies giggled at the silly look of Lam like a shy boy accepting his reward.
"T-Thank you" Lam even stutters a little here making Mrs Tang want to laugh so loud but because of the baby inside her tummy that is about to due she holds her laughter.
Lam tried to eat calmer with 4 pairs of eyes looking at him, one spoonful and another one but those eyes become irritable because of waiting for information.
In the end, Lam puts his delicious cake and coffee aside and turns to those ladies
"I can't tell you exactly who the boy is but he is someone that you cannot offend," Lam told him with an apologetic look and the ladies starts to throw paper balls at Lam
Lam tried to dodge all the paper balls but some missed and landed on his beautiful cakes
"Oiiii, you injured my cake" the mid-thirties man sulks like baby
Mrs Tang laughs and eyed him to look at Lucy.
"Get someone to bake a cake for you then," Mrs Tang told Lam, Lam turns red and take the small paper balls out of his cake and ate them slowly without raising his head.
Lucy is also aware of Lam's interest in her but she is just too scared and worried to burden Lam, she admires Lam who is good and kind but this kind of man deserves someone better than her, this has been on her mind and she begins to turn back into her computer and work. Her hands tremble a little as she felt sad inside out.
Inside the big open, the door was opened by Li Ning to allow Wei Zhan to walks in and still holding the little Boyi, Boyi widens his eyes when he saw the big spacious office of Wei Zhan, just like any other young person, his voice is loud and crisp
"Wow!!!!!"
"So nice"
"Big"
"Looks high tech"
The new trend of young people, where everything looks exceptional modern and neat. Li Ning proudly replied to the little cutie
"Yeah, all from the top designer and boss is the designer" Li Ning proudly shows off his boss.
Wei Zhan is happy deep inside but still, he maintained his trademark face of indifferent
"Nosy!" the voice is soft without any treats and Li Ning smiles inside his heart.
Of course, one of Wei Zhan among many accreditations is he is a designer, thus he got a taste in interior design, his office is renovated every three to five years when he feels like it.
"Wow!!!!!, Zhan-ge is clever" Boyi puts both thumbs up at Wei Zhan, full of admiration for Wei Zhan.
Wei Zhan slides his finger across Boyi's nose slightly and then he gives him a look
"Oily smooth mouth" now Wei Zhan is actually joking with the boy that he is good at words, Li Ning almost "pfftt" but he holds onto to his mouth, he thought his boss has exchanged soul, now he even jokes playfully with the boy.
Boyi then sticks out his tongue and lick his mouth in front of Wei Zhan as returning his jokes.
Wei Zhan had to look away from the cheeky cute boy or he might just end up jumping onto him for a kiss. The thought frightens him and he immediately brings the boy to tour around his office.
"Wait here," Wei Zhan told Li Ning and he holds onto Boyi and bring him around the massive office that could look like an apartment. They come across a lounge area with a full set of coffee tables and sofas. Hidden inside the lounge is a small kitchen where it is fully furnished. There is a full set of the mini-conference area enough to sit a group of six people and also when they walk past the kitchen, there is a door that is invisible to the sight of people as it flashes with the wall.
Wei Zhan presses his fingerprint onto it and it opens up to a bedroom. It is not small and it has a King size bed with a sofa beside it. The best part of it is there is also a wall-to-wall closet, full of Wei Zhan suits and even his nightwear, apparently, when he was working on a project, he just sleep in the office. There is also another bathroom inside with a shower for him to bathe. It is a fully serviceable bedroom.
Boyi looks around and he was totally blown off he asks with curiosity
"Who sleeps here?" the words just burst out of his mouth, with no ill intention but in the matured man's ear, it mean something else.
Wei Zhan pulls his suit jacket straight and looks at Boyi
"This is my bedroom in the office, you are the only one that I brought you in here," Wei Zhan told Boyi with deep meaning in his eyes.
The boy did not think deep, he just smiles and then went to the big bed, like a kid, and lie down and let his arms swim about in the giant King size bed.
"Wow! so comfortable"
"I feel like sleeping already"
Boyi's face is full of comfort and relaxation, after playing around in the bed, he suddenly realised that he is in the office and he forgot his manner and quickly spring up from the bed
"Sorry, the bed invites me"
"Naughty bed!" Boyi then cutely scolds the bed and even points his finger like he is scolding a child.
"Heh Heh' Boyi smiles gleefully at Wei Zhan.
Wei Zhan has watched all his movements and suddenly he laughs out, this is rare for so many years but the boy really makes his laugh.
"So you blame the bed?" Wei Zhan's eyes are still smiling with the crescent moon shape.
Boyi bends his head and nods and then he admits himself
"No one to blame ma"
"So, blame the one that cannot speak"
Boyi spout out the truth which makes Wei Zhan adores him so much,
"How can someone be so cute?"
Wei Zhan knew that he had found a treasure, someone that can actually make his heart beat fast and with so much comfort and joy.
Boyi then hurriedly stands up and smiles at Wei Zhan
"Zhan-ge, thank you for telling me your secret room"
Then the eyes shine like stars in the night
"I won't tell anyone about the room"
"Shhhhh......" Boyi puts his finger on his mouth and told Wei Zhan softly in his ears.
The warm breath tickles the hot ears, the ears heard every cute word and it has been attacking both physically and internally by those words and the lips that blowing those hot air into his ears.
Wei Zhan's ears turn slightly red but he immediately turns around and held Boyi's hand.
"Mmm...."
"Don't tell anyone"
"You can use it when you are tired"
Wei Zhan then puts his fingerprint onto the door which means from now onwards Boyi can have personal assess to his private bedroom.
Boyi is super happy and he smiles so happily
"Mn" the boy nods and then follows Wei Zhan out of the private bedroom.
Once the door is closed, there is no evidence that this is a bedroom because it flashes with the carpeted wall really well. Not many people know of this room, the security team and Li Ning are aware of it.
What Wei Zhan didn't tell Boyi is this is also a panic room, it has steel bar reinforcement that if there is an attack and Wei Zhan can run inside and lock himself and it is fairly secured.
These measures were taken into account when designing the office for the top richest man in Beijing.
After both of them came out, Li Ning himself was also surprised. He heard his boss laugh, he also knew that Boyi has a personal assess to the private bedroom of Wei Zhan. That means Boyi is really important to Wei Zhan now.
Li Ning dares not disturb the boss but he has urgent matters on hand and so he piled up the documents on the table
Boyi is a little conscious that this is an office and so he hurriedly told Wei Zhan
"Don't want to delay Zhan-ge's work" Boyi told them and he hurriedly walks to the sofa to sit down and sink himself, as if he is trying to make himself invisible.
Boyi's action makes Wei Zhan want to laugh but the constant and intense bubbles had spout out from his heart, the young boy is although young but very considerate, of course, Wei Zhan doesn't know that Boyi had reborn and now he is conscious to certain things in this life.
Wei Zhan looks at Li Ning and both of them walk to the sofa where the boy is sitting and attempting to play with his phone
"Hey, I am the boss, don't you worry," Wei Zhan told Boyi
Boyi suddenly feels a little ashamed and puts his phone away and seems helpless and speechless.
"Let's discuss your modeling assignment," Wei Zhan told Boyi and Li Ning immediately organized the file for it through the tablet in his hand.
"The sportwear......." Li Ning eyes look with question and immediately Wei Zhan interrupt Boyi as he doesn't want Boyi to feel embarrassed
"No..."
"Next," Wei Zhan asks
Li Ning then flip his tablet and after a while he smiles, the young PA works hard to find something suitable
"How about the promotion of the watch," Li Ning asks
"What kind of watch?" Wei Zhan asks as he doesn't want anything that causes Boyi to wear shorts
"A semi-formal watch for young people," Li Ning told them
Wei Zhan looks at Boyi and the cute boy smiles and shows his teeth as he nods his head
Wei Zhan looks at him and asks
"Good?"
"Huh" the boy looks at Wei Zhan for confirmation
"Should be good, what do you think?" Wei Zhan asks
"Mm" Boyi replied without much thought and smiled.
"Okay" Boyi told Li Ning
Li Ningi immediately take note of it and then he continues to explode and ask
"Boss, little boss, how about young men wear, semi-formal and casual," Li Ning asks the boss
The person who is always domineering and makes every decision did not answer but instead turns to ask the soft little lamb
"Do you want to do that?" Wei Zhan asks Boyi like asking if he wants that toy
Boyi did not answer but he searches for answer in Wei Zhan's eye, he trusted Wei Zhan to protect him
"Good for me?" the boy asks the young heir
"Mmm...good" Wei Zhan gives an affirmative answer
Immediately, Boyi raised his head to Li Ning and nod
"Zhan-ge said good, so alright," Boyi told Li Ning.
Li Ning noted everything and he is still searching, however, Boyi felt a little stressed as he is not a model and thus two is somehow already a lot for him and so he tugs Wei Zhan's sleeve and then look at him with his deep eyes
"Zhan-ge, can we wait and see," Boyi asks with his small voice.
It is not that he is lazy, but he knew that he is modeling for products in Wei Zhan's company as Wei Zhan told him that, so the choice of model belongs to the Wei Corporation but still he has no experience and he did not want to mess things up, especially for Wei Zhan. In Boyi/s mind if he cannot do it well, then he better quit and not burden Wei Zhan.
Wei Zhan saw the worries in his eyes and he then told Li Ning
"Enough for now," Wei Zhan told Li Ning.
Wei Zhan then asks Boyi
"What do you want to do today?" Wei Zhan asks the boy
Boyi bends down his head, he was excited to come to the office, he somehow likes the company of Wei Zhan now, and he doesn't want to leave so soon, but he doesn't know how to speak his heart.
"I want to help," Boyi told Wei Zhan which is also partly true, he wanted to help Wei Zhan, he wanted to be useful to Wei Zhan, and not like his last life, he died uselessly.
Wei Zhan had a big smile on his heart, he like to keep the boy here in the office.
"Alright, you can be my special little assistant, work with Li Ning" Wei Zhan told Boyi
The boy is a natural dancer and immediately, he jumps up and did a spin and some cool footwork, Boyi had forgotten himself as he is happy, his wishes had been answered.
Suddenly, he realized and slumped onto the sofa and apologized with his head down
"Sorry"
"Excited"
Boyi blushes with red cheek and ears.
When Wei Zhan saw the dancing and happy Boyi, he was infected, his legs also begins to swing, and looking at Boyi, Wei Zhan also felt the energy radiated from Boyi.
"Good!" Wei Zhan told Li Ning with his chin
Li Ning is like a statute between them and he slowly emerges into his human form and found his words
"Okay" Li Ning then begins his work
"Sir, meeting at half an hour with Mr XXX, video conference to England at XXX hour, these documents have been checked by legal departments, Account and Finance head had gone through it, I checked it myself, good to go for signature....also....." the list goes on till 5 pm and now Boyi knew how busy Wei Zhan is in the office and he feels for him.
After all the day schedule, Li Ning looks at Boyi, and Boyi immediately got the signal and follows Li Ning out. Wei Zhan's eyes are on the documents when he signs but his voice is soft and gentle to Boyi
"Boyi, get my coffee, Black" Wei Zhan told them while Boyi and Li Ning are walking out.
Boyi walks in front and Li Ning followed behind, however halfway walking through the long and large office, the boy stops and Li Ning stops and looks at Boyi.
Boyi looks back and saw Wei Zhan buried his head into his piles of documents and suddenly he realized that a working man has his special charm especially when his long thick and black eyebrows seems to be extended and knit together at times while reading the document with his tight chin, Boyi's heartbeats accelerated.
The boy extended his neck and asks
"Zhan-ge, how about some milk, coffee is very acidic and bad for the stomach" the boy's voice is not assertive but really very gentle and everyone can know that this is more of a concern than anything else.
Li Ning trembles a little as up to today, no one dares to challenge his boss choices and black coffee has been his choice since Wei Zhan took office when he was twenty-one.
To Li Ning's horror, the voice came through smooth and low
"Mmm......okay' Wei Zhan replied
Li Ning's foot almost stuck to the floor
"What!"
"Okay!"
"Is this still my boss?"
Boyi is happy, he walks quickly to the door and Li Ning follows behind a little slow maybe because he needed to recover from numbness in his legs.
In Li Ning's mind, the big boss has changed from "instructive to co-operative" with the boy. Li Ning can see it, ideas were exchanged, words lead to discussion.

I don't know what I am writing
4200 over words.
I am just writing and writing.
I hope this makes sense
I hope to work on the next chapter tonight if I can find the time.
