Chapter 24 (Shopping fiasco))
Beijing Mall is owned by the Wei Corporation, a famous luxuries mall where all the famous well know brands are situated. Boyi knew about the mall but he had never been there, after all, he was not given much pocket money, so he has not stepped into the mall, at least this is what he taught.
As soon as the Bentley and the black car arrived, already four bodyguards are waiting at the entrance, Boyi tilts his head and saw them, they are all dressed in suits like James and Frank, so to Boyi, they are like more "Blue Brothers" in his mind.
The door was opened for Wei Zhan and he came out first and started to walk towards the mall with the four standing bodyguards following behind, however, as if he had forgotten something, he stops and waited as he look behind.
Boyi was just following behind and when he saw Wei Zhan stop, he hurried jog towards him and smiles, he thought Wei Zhan was a bit ignored that he was slow, but Boyi was not used to having so many bodyguards around and so he was busy nodding at them, he is a friendly kid and he felt like he is one of them.
Looking up and saw that Wei Zhan is now waiting
"Zhan-ge, not everyone fortunate to have long legs, you know" Boyi faked a sighs, the boy is direct and cute.
Wei Zhan squints his eyes and nods
"Hm"
"Eat more"
"Jump more then"
Wei Zhan told Boyi, and the bodyguards were almost frozen, they all knew their boss, he has changed, he had waited for Boyi and wasn't even ignored by giving advice, but of course, the bodyguards talked with their eyes as they eyed each other. Lam and Li Ning worked together a lot and even they are looking at each other for answers.
Giving such instructions, the cheeky boy who is in a joyful mood that horns his naughtiness runs towards Wei Zhan and starts jumping around him, making those bodyguards almost shocked to fainting point and yet amused by him.
"I am jumping!, I am jumping!" Boyi jumps in front of Wei Zhan, fortunately, the mall and the bodyguards already cordoned off the entrance area with no one walking around, or else this would be caught on YouTube.
Usually, Wei Zhan is a man who likes or enjoy quietness and orderliness, according to what Li Ning and the bodyguards knew about him, but Wei Zhan did not feel agitated but instead, he lift up his long arm and press the head of the jumping boy
"Do you want to be taller?" Wei Zhan asks like asking a little kid
"En" Boyi stops jumping now and reply
"Do it in the home gym" Wei Zhan told Boyi
"Okay" Boyi reply like an obedience child
"Eat more nutritious food," Wei Zhan told him
"Okay" Boyi reply
Their conversation makes Li Ning looks at the sun to check its direction, did the world turns upside down or the sun comes out from the West this morning because this is so unlike his boss.
"Strange!"
Wei Zhan leads and follows Boyi slightly behind him and then he halts and lets the bodyguards step ahead into the mall.
The mall is not too crowded as today is working day but those wealthy rich has no workings days and so it still has business.
Wei Zhan took out a tinted glass and slide it onto his face and then he walks ahead. Boyi kept quiet and he knew that Wei Zhan doesn't want too many people to recognize him.
They came to a sports shop and very suitable for young people.
"Go find a good amount of clothes for yourself," Wei Zhan told Boyi.
Boyi looks around and saw all the famous brands but he has still stepped inside and Wei Zhan sat on a sofa while the team stands near him but James and Frank follow behind Boyi.
Boyi looks around and found some nice shorts and T-shirts and then he also moves around the lane of some casual wear that is of pastel color and Boyi likes it very much and so he picks some jeans, shirts,s and also belts. Frank and James helped Boyi, it was refused at first until they both insisted, firstly, they are assigned to Boyi, to them Boyi is their little boss, secondly, they both like the cute boy.
After a small hill of clothes, Boyi felt like he had chosen a lot and then he wanted to go into the dressing room to try a few, so he told some of it, and he turns the price tag around and when he saw the price tag, he told them both,
"Put those back", Boyi stiff like an arrow and he runs towards Wei Zhan who is sitting leisurely going through some documents together with Li Ning on his iPad.
When Wei Zhan sensed the boy, he looks up and saw the boy sitting near to him with his hands on his lap.
"Why?" Wei Zhan asks
Boyi leans a little closer to him and then he whispers in his ear
"Mmmm....." swallows the saliva and then he speaks
"Can we go somewhere, here is too expensive, I think I don't have enough" Boyi shyly told Wei Zhan.
Wei Zhan finds it very amused, the boy never expects Wei Zhan to pay for him unless others........
Li Ning heard it and he smiles
"The shop belongs to Sir" Li Ning tod Boyi
Wei Zhan looks at the poor boy in a state of shock, his heart had a little pity on him, but he couldn't help but add some teasing to it
"You are saying my store is selling stuff too expensive?" Wei Zhan raises an eyebrow to look at Boyi
The Stiffened poor arrow vibrates, as Boyi shakes and told Wei Zhan
"No, no...alright..no....just a little bit, but very stylish and good quality, worth the price" the tense arrowed has been put onto the bow, as it shot out when Boyi launch and runs towards the piles of clothes, he thought for a while and then he bites his lips
"I will just be bankrupt today then" Boyi thought
The boy didn't even have any heart to try the clothes, he just wanted to walk to the counter to kill himself by paying for it with his miserable card.
Wei Zhan walks towards him and ask,
"Don't you want to try them on?" Wei Zhan asks
Boyi with his aggrieved face and red lips (after biting so hard) nods
The Manager personally showed Boyi to the exclusive changing room, where there is a solo dressing room with a young salesgirl waiting to help. Outside the dressing room has a few comfy individual sofas for waiting to see the person changing to show off the clothes. This is a luxurious shop catering to celebrities and the who and who of the industries, even political and famous wealthy people are shopping here. Thus, they have this private exclusive changing room, for the buyer to appreciate their products on their beloved.
Boyi changed into a nice T-shirt and matching shorts, it is white with green trimming and when he came out, the young girl claps her hands and express freely
"Wow!!!! Very youthful" and she tries to help Boyi to adjust the shirt and also the length of the shorts.
Boyi moves a step backward and his face all pale, not due to shyness but pale
Wei Zhan is watching him and his eyes are actually staring at those smooth hairless legs till he feels the pair of legs are moving backward and then he heard
"Ahhhh.....I allergic to people touching my body" Boyi shyly told the young girl.
Boyi doesn't like people to touch him, his skin is extra sensitive and he cannot stand it when people touch his skin, even when the girl adjusting his T-shirt but blush pass his arm and also a little on his waist, he is in a panic mode, especially strangers.
Wei Zhan was a little surprised when he saw the pale face but he quickly dismissed the girl
"You go out," Wei Zhan told the young girl who is all red and shocked but she bow her head and left quickly wondering if she had done anything wrong.
Boyi stares at Wei Zhan and quickly defended the girl
"She did nothing wrong, I am sensitive," Boyi told Wei Zhan
Wei Zhan looks at him and sensed that the boy is now worried that he will fire the girl and so he assured him
"She will not be punished," Wei Zhan told Boyi
Wei Zhan can see Boyi breathe a gulp of relief air and he knew that this boy is upright and he did not want any unnecessary punishment to anyone that has no-fault.
Li Ning tries to clear those tension air by praising Boyi
"Little Master, very nice indeed," Li Ning told Boyi
Wei Zhan saw that and knew he forgot to comment and so he just at in
"Yes, indeed" Wei Zhan mumbles but he has already had the beautiful image deepen embed in his mind.
Boyi tried a few more sets of clothes and all fit him very well, as Boyi has a slim long body and long legs proportional to his height of 1.8m, also he has a narrow hip and small waist, although he doesn't have a very broad chest, he still has a great figure, thus every piece of clothing on him is like a model wearing it, it is very pleasant to the eyes and it enchanted the observers very much.
After that, Boyi collected his clothes to the counter and he sinks his hand into his wallet and took out his bank card.
Looking at his bank card, Boyi felt his heart almost broken into two as he knew that he is going to or nearing bankruptcy with those expensive clothing.
The Manager and a few girls hurriedly packed up the clothes that Boyi has chosen and Boyi waited and waited as he didn't see anyone punching the price onto the cash machine.
They are just packing the clothes into beautiful package bags but no one does the cash machine. Worst of all, there were also additional items that were not chosen by Boyi, such as sports shoes, pajamas and even underwear of famous brands are now being packed into bags.
The staff did not talk to Boyi but just silently working and Boyi felt a little funny and strange and so he turns around when he is hanging on the counter and saw that no one is standing behind him other than James and Frank, curiosity kills the cat and so Boyi asks them
"D-Did you choose those shoes and others?" Boyi asks, he thought that maybe when he was trying out the clothes at the exclusive changing room, these two had gone browsing and brought some stuff. This is because only Lam, Li Ning, and Wei Zhan are sitting in the large exclusive changing room.
Both of them gave Boyi a wide smile and replied at the same time, a little robotic
"NOPE" and remains standing like a statue with no further words.
Boyi then cutely leans onto the counter and ask the chubby fat Manager who is a man in his late thirties
"I did not choose these" Boyi told them
The manager nods and smiles back at him
"I know" the manager reply
Boyi still couldn't figure it out and so he asks again
"Okay, I can only pay for those I choose" the cute boy widens his eyes to tell the manager because he saw no one behind him in the queue.
The manager looks at him and smiles wider
"I know" the manager repeated the same reply.
Boyi almost dies of a heart attack as his mind wonders and now understands why Wei Zhan engaged this manager, his words are short and resolute, almost like the boss.
What Boyi didn't know is the staff will not speak a lot when Wei Zhan is around because they are all afraid of offending him and they all knew how smart and how much he hates people who speak nonsense and unnecessary words.
Boyi then mouth again
"Just so you know, I might not have enough money to pay," Boyi told the manager and expects a huge commotion, but none has come forward but still the calm voice of the manager
"It has all been settled," the manager told him
Boyi was stupefied and he asks quickly
"Huh"
"Settle"
"How is it settled?"
"I-I don't want to be in credit" Boyi quickly tells the manager.
The manager smiles and points to Wei Zhan who is still holding his iPad and is in deep conversation with Li Ning and Boyi knew they are discussing work, they are in a quiet area with the bodyguards surrounding them, no one can come near to them.
Frank and James chuckles and told Boyi
"Boss is the owner, you don't charge the owner for his own stuff" Frank told Boyi
Boyi frowns and told Frank
"But this is for me" Boyi stretches his head
Frank shakes his head,
"Go talk to Boss then," Frank told Boyi
Boyi dashed back to where Wei Zhan is now sitting easily and maybe lazily crossing his long slim legs, very relaxed and waiting while his hand is working on the iPad.
When Wei Zhan felt a presence that came so fast like a bullet, he looks at Boyi anxious face
"Zhan-ge, they....did not charge me for the clothes," Boyi asks Wei Zhan with a bit of worried face
Wei Zhan leans back and reply
"Yeah"
Boyi then asks Wei Zhan
"Wouldn't the store lose money like that, giving away free" Boyi head is now thinking like an economist as he just learns a bit of financing
Wei Zhan chuckles and told Boyi
"Don't worry, I won't bankrupt with this small money" Wei Zhan told Boyi
Now, Boyi is all shy and knows that he had underestimated Wei Zhan and could be offensive but the boy is still uncomfortable and then suddenly he told Wei Zhan
"Zhan-ge, how about I don't want those clothes and then this money can be used to help L&M" Boyi sincere eyes were almost like looking at Wei Zhan, thinking that he had a great idea.
Wei Zhan keeps silent with a stone face or he will give up laughing and teasing the poor boy.
Li Ning felt sorry for Boyi as he has no sense of proportion of money yet and so he told Boyi
"Little master, emmm....Sir will take care of L&M, this small money doesn't help much" Li Ning kindly told Boyi.
Boyi suddenly realized that he is a little bit silly and so he hangs his head low
"Oh!" Boyi replies with some air on his cheek, making him a little puffy.
However, Wei Zhan saw a different light to this cute boy, he is very honest and direct and didn't want to take advantage of others, all these are earning ticks in his private space that he had keep in his heart.
Boyi bends down his head for a while and did some thinking and then he took out his bank card and gave it to Wei Zhan
"I have some tiny money here, only about 40 over thousands and I give it to you"
"I don't know how to repay you, I ......" Boyi words and thoughts were in a mess, he just offers his own only money left because he felt like he is already staying in the luxurious apartment and now Wei Zhan is paying for his clothing but they are only contracted spouses, something like an employer and employee.
Wei Zhan was already a bit angry and he snorts and told Boyi
"I told you that I can afford it" Wei Zhan eyes seems to be sparkling a little with fire and Boyi was frightened and he hang his face down and he was a little teary now, in his mind
"I never do anything right, I am a Loser"
Li Ning saw the situation and he sees both sides of the perspective, his boss has been bornt with a silver spoon and got insulted when people don't believe that he is sincere.
Boyi is simple-minded and he doesn't want to owe or burden Wei Zhan too much.
Li Ning sitting there with high tension wire and decides to break the barrier
"Ahhhh.....Sir is sincere and wanting to buy you clothes"
"Ehemm...Boyi your kindness is not to let sir waste too much money" Li Ning tried to break the stalemate barrier.
Wei Zhan looks at Boyi and saw the poor boy hanging his head low and playing with his fingers and saw tears flowing on it and he felt a pant in his heart, Wei Zhan knew he is not a good with good words and he felt he was a bit too rough with the boy
"Boyi" Wei Zhan pat the boy's head and then told him
"I am a bit rough, which I don't mean it" Wei Zhan told Boyi
Now, the boy lifts up his red eyes with tears in it and he then explains to Wei Zhan
"I am sorry, this is my fault, no one treats me so well and so sincere with no motive, other than my parents. And also you are still helping me with L&M. I just don't know how to think and I-I become stupid and don't know how to react" Boyi burst out his words that are engraved in his heart.
He felt overwhelmed with Wei Zhan's kindness and also those are very expensive stuff and Wei Zhan has no reason to be nice to him, after all, Wei Zhan had the upper hand and so Boyi lost control and does not know how to react. He just wanted to be sincere back to Wei Zhan as well and so he offered his bank card to Wei Zhan.
Wei Zhan looks at Boyi and then he softly told him
"Boyi, although we are in a contract marriage our grandparents are close friends. I will not mistreat you and can you trust me" Wei Zhan told Boyi.
Suddenly, this young patriarch felt like he wanted to protect this boy, he felt his heart has moved and he sees the sincerity of Boyi, he is young and untamed, also like rough jewelry that hasn't been polished, very talented with good kind foundation. Most important of all is his sincerity, innocent, and straightforwardness.
Boyi lifts up his red eyes and he nods but as he nods those hanging tears were rolling down as well, making people heartaches, even Li Ning and Lam who are now sitting close to them, couldn't stand the boy crying but had to keep quiet and let the boss handle the situation.
"Alright, thank you" Boyi feels lighter after yet another clearer understanding of each other. He now understands that Wei Zhan is sincerely kind to him, and as for the moment he doesn't need to know that much more or of any other reason, he just wanted to enjoy the kind moment of this man, whose handsome face paired with a set of sincere looking eyes is most attractive to Boyi now, it emits compassion and kindness, leading Boyi to smile with a wide grin.
