Chapter 21 (Comfy pajamas, SpongeBob SquarePants underwear?)
Today he had been called
"Naked Ghost"
"Chocolate Abs"
Then hi-fi with a young boy.
This is the first time Wei Zhan had done the above and yet he finds it interesting and refreshing. The young patriarch sit up and then got up from his bed and went to brush his teeth to get himself really to sleep after such a long and tiring day and night.
His slim footsteps onto the carpeted floor, feeling the carpet tickles his barefoot, Wei Zhan walks onto his bed, he had a super king-size bed that was covered with dark blue silk sheets and blanket.
Wei Zhan has a protective and possessive nature, he doesn't allow anyone to enter his private bedroom, of course, other than Aunty Xu who comes to clean up and cook for him day time. His bedroom is his private space and so is his study room where he conducts his business.
However, tonight there is a boy that accidentally invades his private space, Wei Zhan now standing at the edge of his bed and he can still see the messy sil bedsheet that looked wrinkled but have a slight dent inwardly, this also accompany by the messy silk blanket curving up into a semi-circle when the boy bolts himself out of the bed hurriedly.
Somehow, Wei Zhan felt like he is in the middle of a serious decision-making battle, his tall figure is standing at the end of the bed, he is battling which side of the bed he should sleep on tonight, he usually slept near the toilet, which dealing with his daily needs is easier. Then why is there any chance of indecision making, this is because his usual side where he sleeps is still in a neat and orderly manner. It somehow lost its attraction to the messy side, it is a little strange to Wei Zhan now because with his hands holding onto his sleep waist, he had to battle which side he is going to sleep on his bed.
The tall man feels exhausted and so he jumps onto the middle of the bed, however, he wriggles to the messy side and is very silly trying to fit into that dent shape of his silky bedsheet and he is feeling comfortable like there is warmer on this side of the bed.
Wei Zhan also doesn't know why because his mind is too tired to think and he also doesn't want to think too much because he wanted to maintain his possessive and protective dominant character, to him in his mind that comfort his decision is
"This side is warmer"
On the other side of the room, Boyi had hurriedly eaten his noodles in his room, somehow the noodles taste very delicious as it is from a very high-class restaurant but Boyi tongue seems to have lost those sensitive sensations as he feels his face is red, his neck is heated up and his heartbeat is fast and the more he thought of himself calling Wei Zhan "naked Ghost: the more he feels horrible and embarrassed.
Slowly, Boyi ate numbly till he felt his stomach is full and the noodles disappeared from his bowl, putting it down on the table, Boyi looks around the beautifully decorated room and he sighs.
The apartment looks beautifully decorated but to Boyi, he feels very awkward as he does not know Wei Zhan very well, he wouldn't say the tall handsome man is bad or anything, but he had a cold and indifferent glaze that Boyi finds it hard to comprehend. He wonders how he is going to stay in the apartment with Wei Zhan. He knew that he couldn't ignore the man, as this man is someone that he counts on saving L&M but the events tonight proved that it is not very successful.
He called the famous and excellent Wei Zhan "Naked Ghost" which means that Wei Zhan might already have a very bad impression on himself. Boyi felt very worried and distressed, he had purposed in this new life, he doesn't want to make Wei Zhan angry and yet he didn't know how to make him please, he just felt like he couldn't handle the young heir. He was not trained in any skills before his rebirth, his foster parent's scheme is to make him a loser, they did not encourage him to study but rather encouraged him in indulged in dancing and singing. It is not that Boyi dislikes it but he is not very equipped with handling people. He is good with his brothers and Zhang Ma, Wei Zhan is like a high level of cultivation that he has not achieved.
Thinking of the night events and all the past events in his past life, Boyi felt that he should do something to avoid messing with Wei Zhan.
With this thought in mind, the young Boyi relaxed on his bed and he tried to get to sleep, it took him a long time tossing around in his comfy bed till he finally fell asleep at a time that he himself is unsure of.
Boyi slept late and so he woke up really late in the morning, his slim legs twisting in the soft and smooth bedsheet and blanket. Feeling that smoothness makes Boyi aware that he is not in the old mansion. The quality of things in Wei Zhan apartment are of top quality and thus that goes for his silky bedsheet and blanket.
Boyi, took his phone that is now on charge and saw that it was about 9.30 am now and he cursed himself a little and jumps out of the bed. Boyi hurried to the bathroom and did all his morning routine. He changed into his outing clothes and send messages to his EXCEL group for training in his old mansion.
He walks out of the room, then Boyi look around and saw no one, he walks to the kitchen and he saw breakfast on the table, Boyi then heard some splashing sound. look like it came from the swimming pool. He knew that it must be Wei Zhan swimming away.
Boyi smiles to himself and he told a bun (bread) and shoved it into his mouth and he took a napkin and wrote some words on it.
"Go back to old Mansion" Boyi left the napkin beside the breakfast and carries his backpack which is quite a bit heavy cos he stuff his laptop and some clothes into it.
Happily, Boyi half runs and jogs onto the door and opens it and runs to the lift, and walks down to the entrance floor.
He did not bring his bike and so Boyi uses his phone and uber to the old mansion.
He felt relieved that he has gone out of the apartment, he felt uncomfortable and choked like he does not know how to behave in front of Wei Zhan.
The tall slim man came out of the swimming pool, Wei Zhan had a habit of waking up early like at least 6.30 am to do his running in his gym and he usually loves to swim before he heads to his office, although today is Sunday his habit remains the same.
He was swimming in the pool and he thought he heard the door closing sound.
Wei Zhan wraps a towel around his narrow hips and wanted to walk out of the pool. However, he remembered something and he then put on his bathroom over his towel and walks out of the swimming pool.
To his surprise, he found the apartment very quiet and he walks to the kitchen to see if the boy had his breakfast and found only one bun missing, and there was a note scribbled on the napkin. Wei Zhan looks at the note and his lips are pursed and he clashes the napkin and walks to his bathroom to take a shower and begin his work, although it is Sunday because he travels for a day, he wanted to catch up with his work.
Wei Zhan then received a text from Li Ning
"Little Master has gone back to the mansion, James and Frank saw him in a uber and following behind him"
Wei Zhan saw the message and he puts down his phone.
There was a frown on his brows and then he went to do his office work.
Boyi saw that James and Frank were following him into the Mansion, once the uber reached the Mansion door, Boyi keeps it open and waves his hand for James and Frank to come in.
The two bodyguards shake their heads,
"Their secret following skills new to brush up".
Boyi invites the two bodyguards in with a smile
"Hi, come in and have a lemonade and some cakes," Boyi told them
The two of them laughs a little and nod their head.
Zhang Ma brought out some cakes for the two bodyguards and also some for the five boys who are now in the room practicing dancing and music.
The four of them were very immersed in their music and today, they decided that it is time for them to make a recording of their band and maybe load it up on youtube for circulation and see if it evokes any interest in the internet.
Lan Boyi has a very thick voice and is very suitable for the new song written by him.
He wrote the song "My World" as it seems to reflect his past and present life. Boyi is very talented in music which is of course more prominent after his rebirth. He seems to be somehow drawing gifts that he had not discovered before his rebirth. He has more emotions than before he died.
He wrote this song when he was rebirthed after one week, the words flow from his heart, and the music dances in his mind.
He quickly used a notebook to write down his emotions and feeling in this song. The song is a part of him, he wanted to change, to challenge, to better, to correct himself, and also for the greater purpose beyond him to help others.
Every word came from his heart. When he shows the song to the team, everyone wanted Boyi to sing it and record the song for the internet.
Boyi didn't have a recording studio in the mansion and so the song was recorded very rawly but the music was very flowing and gentle.
Boyi's voice flows with it and after about two hours of singing and recording by their cam camera like ten times, the group chooses the best one and load it in the internet.
It may not be perfect but they decided to do it anyway.
"Ready" Wenyi who is a computer genius told them
Boyi looks anxious but at the same time look cold and he nods and the rest also nod
Wenyi pressed the sent button and the song is now on youtube under the name EXCEL GROUP.
All of them breathe out the air of relief and laughs together.
It is now rather late at night and so the group wanted to split and go home.
"Boyi, are you going to take your bike to Mr Wei Zhan's house," Sung Poh asks
"Nope, I think I will stay here tonight," Boyi told them
All of them nod except Tung Poh who seems to remember something
"I thought you have to stay there on weekdays to go uni" Tung Poh asks and this touches Boyi's weak spot
Boyi looks at them and full of hesitation
"Oh, I will message and let the PA knows," Boyi told them
All of them nod and Sung Poh is a bit more mature and he asks Boyi softly
"Are you alright?" Sung Poh asks
"Mm... a bit not used to it" Boyi assured him
"Alright then, take care of yourself," Sung Poh told him
As they came out of the studio, the boys greeted the two bodyguards who are happily enjoying a TV drama with Zhang Ma and even discussion the plot and evilness of the drama "untamed".
Boyi smiles at the bodyguards and told them
"I will message PA Li that I am staying overnight here," Boyi told them
Boyi text
"I am staying in the mansion, I forgot to bring my comfy pajamas," Boyi told LI Ning.
Li Ning received the message and forward it to Wei Zhan, Wei Zhan is working on his paperwork and when he saw the message, he find it tickling his itch.
"Comfy pajamas?" Wei Zhan message it back to Li Ning
"Yes, Sir" Li Ning feels a bit funny but he still forwarded it to the boss
"Childish!" Wei Zhan replied and then he hesitated
"Let him stay there for a night and the team can go home," Wei Zhan thinks that it is quite safe for now in the mansion as Boyi hasn't really been exposed too much yet.
Boyi was very happy when he received a message from Li Ning who told them
"It's fine" Li Ning messaged him.
After showering, Boyi happily jumps into his bed and sleeps, although the sheet is not as soft as those in Wei Zhan's house, the atmosphere is familiar to him and so he had a sense of safety and security.
The next day, the sun was shining high and Yibo get ready and went to the university. He met both Jinho and Wenyi who shows him youtube that has gained about 100 people who have seen it and comments. For youtube, this is low but the three of them keep their spirit high and do a shoulder bump at each other.
After class, Boyi rides his bike and he saw from afar, James and Frank waiting inside the car, Boyi sighs but still he makes decision-based on his comfort.
He steps on the bike and he rode the bike to the mansion and went inside and he saw Zhang Ma
"Zhang Ma!" Boyi yells
"Huh! Are you okay to be here" Zhang Ma asks
"Mmmmmm.....I miss you and the food" Boyi smiles and his words make the elderly feel happy and she stops asking but frowns.
Boyi sent a message to Li Ning
"I forgot my underwear and so I am staying here tonight" Boyi's finger taps the phone and sent the message.
Li Ning received the message and frowns but still, he knocks on Wei Zhan's door
"Sir, the boy sent another message," Li Ning told Wei Zhan
Wei Zhan is immersed in his work but he raises his elegant head and shows his palm as he wanted to see the message on the phone. Li Ning quickly hands over his mobile phone to Wei Zhan.
"Underwear?" Wei Zhan asks
Li Ning shrugs his shoulder
"Tell him, we will buy 3 dozens for him," Wei Zhan told LI Ning and Lin Ning sent the message to Boyi
"Buy 3 dozen underwear for you, come back" Li Ning sent the message away
"You can't get it, this is the Spongebob Squarepants underwear and it is especially spongy type" Boyi taps on his phone in his bedroom and sent it away and he giggles when he lay on his bed and thinking about it. Then the boy rolls about as his funny bones feel ticklish. Boyi is simple-minded and he just does whatever comes into his mind.
Li Ning was almost "pfftt" but he controlled himself and showed Wei Zhan the message from Boyi.
Wei Zhan doesn't know whether to cry or laugh as his eyes are glued on the word "Spongy" and lost in his mind.
Wei Zhan is a high intellect person and he asks Li Ning
"Why makes him give all these nonsensical excuses?" Wei Zhan comes straight to the point as this just excuses not to come to the apartment.
"Sir, I am not sure but little master might be shy and feels uncomfortable, maybe after the 'ghost' incident" Li Ning analyse and tell Wei Zhan
Wei Zhan frowns and then looks at Li Ning with his cold and stern eyes
"You mean I frighten him"
"I look ghostly" Wei Zhan snorts at Li Ning
Li Ning is now sweating with cold sweat
"NO SIR! I don't mean that!" Li Ning with his trembling voice told Wei Zhan
"I think the boy is in an avoidance mood maybe because he doesn't know how to live with unfamiliar people"
"I noticed that he is nervous when told to stay at an apartment with you" Li Ning gently told the boss
"Am I that scary?" Wei Zhan asks
Li Ning shakes his head but his heart speaks differently
"Sometimes and can be quite scary" but this is a well-kept secret in his heart.
"Sir, maybe have a good talk with the boy" Li Ning slowly adds in the words, he is very cautious but he knows his boss well, Wei Zhan is indifferent and cold because of his position and wealth and also due to those leeches that he had to handle and it is not easy for the young patriarch who is only twenty-five years old. It is also through circumstances that human beings can change and somewhat dictate their behaviors and actions. For his boss to be able to be top in the business world, he becomes indifferent and cold so that his competitors are more afraid of him than the other way round.
Wei Zhan taps his tender fingers on the large shining table and his slim body shifted into another easy position as he slides one of his elbows on the armchair and pops up his chin to think, he had seen how the boy flutters and anxious around him.
Wei Zhan is a man that does not usually care much about the small matters in a relationship, he knew he needed Boyi for his inheritance for the Wei empire, however, he also knew that there is no suitable candidate in the Wei Family other than himself, however, upsetting his grandfather is a tattoo to Wei Zhan. In his life now, his grandfather matters the most to him, as he is now his mother as well as a father that took good care of him.
However, Boyi seems to bring about something that is not routine in his disciplined life, it is not that Wei Zhan does not have some good friends to mingle around but rather Boyi brought some sparkles that seem non-existing and it tickles an itch for him to want to inch a little closer, maybe just a little at this moment to see what does it meant for him.
Looking at Wei Zhan in some kind of thought and silence, Li Ning knew that his boss is giving his words some consideration as Wei Zhan is sharp-minded and fast to dismiss action or words that are not in line with him.
Li Ning remains silent and he waited.
Wei Zhan lift up a brow and told Li Ning
"We will go to the mansion now and have I will have a man to man talk with him" Wei Zhan
Li Ning turns around to get ready
"Yes Sir" Li Ning reply
As he was walking to the door, he heard Wei Zhan raise his clear voice
"A Man to Boy talk" Wei Zhan voice could be heard
The tall man inside is still swiveling his chair and looking around his surrounding with people walking all around the ground in all shape and sizes, gender, and look.
However, at this moment, there is only one person's face in his mind.
He chuckles and curves his lips up
"Comfy pajamas and Spongebob Squarepants underwear, what is your game Boyi?"

Life gets a bit busy and I fell asleep last night while typing,
I feel that I could be in a messy mood.
