This is the history chapter. But it's only part 1.
Aether's POV
Flashback
"Hey Mom! Look what I found in the backyard!"
A girl about the age of 6 running towards her Mother.
The young girl had Golden eyes and dark platinum hair.
The hair came from her Mother, while the eyes came from her Father.
"Wow... That's pretty, dear. Why don't you put it on the table and clean your hands. We're going to have supper soon."
The girl smiled at her Mother.
She placed the object she found and placed it on the dinner table.
She then, ran to the bathroom to wash her hands.
The girl soon got back to the table and sat down.
"Mommy, what was Daddy like?"
The Mother soon came to the table with the food.
She then thought about the question her daughter asked.
She smiled at the memories of her and her husband.
"Your father was a kind man. He was a Vice-Admiral in the marines. Many people respected him that time... But that was before an incident happened..."
The woman slowly grieved at the time.
The girl was curious, but sad because her Mother wasn't happy.
"What happened then, Mommy?"
The girl decided to ask.
After all, she never really met her Father before.
"He was... Killed. A man one day, broke in the base he currently was in. Your Father only came to check on it. The stranger just broke in, trying to take files. He soon ran into your Father and began to fight. Your Father was winning that time, but soon, many more of those men came and surrounded him. He soon started losing... Then got killed. That was the day you were only a month old."
The females soon finished their food.
Just as the young girl opened the backdoor to play outside, a group of people in tuxedos came in the room, while the girl ran to her Mother after seeing them.
"Mommy! Who are these people? They scare me..."
The girl was holding her Mother closely while she did the same.
Soon, the Mother got wide-eyed.
She recognized the people and soon became worried.
"Well, well, well... If it isn't Lyra Kazuko and Aether Kazuko. Both Wife and Daughter of the well-known vice-admiral, Kaze Kazuko."
The leader smirked maliciously,
He looked at the woman, then to the child.
"I see the young girl has grown a lot since that last encounter... Before he died, that is..."
The man chuckled evilly.
The woman growled at him and the group.
"What do you want with me and my daughter, Taboo! You killed him, so now what do you want..!"
The man chuckled again, but soon laughed.
He looked at her with amusement.
He then looked at young Aether, who was trembling in fear.
She was clutching to her Mother, Lyra for dear life.
"You? I didn't come here for you. Just your lovely little daughter. I don't need anything from you, Lyra. I just want you to give me little Aether, then I'll leave."
Lyra growled at Taboo.
Aether was wide-eyed knowing she was the reason they're here.
Lyra then, stood in front of her protectively.
"If you want her, you're gonna have to go through me first!"
She stood determinedly to protect her.
The girl looked at her mother worried.
Soon, the man chuckled and snapped his fingers.
Many people took out their weapons.
The woman soon blasted something to create a smoke decoy.
Then she turned to her child as she smiled sadly at her.
"Aether, I need you to promise me that you'll stay strong for me. Right now, this is your only chance to run and find a place to stay at. Here, I already prepared some stuff for you and I need you to find this place on the map. They'll help you, okay?"
Aether nodded then gave her a hug, took the bag and placed it on her shoulders before leaving.
She sobbed as she ran outside as fast as she could.
Just enough to be out of sight...
