In Alya's house, Alya lend Elena the dress for her to wear as the flower girl.
Alya: There you go. You look beautiful.
Elena: I do?
Alya: Yes you do.
Nino: You're gonna be the most beautiful flower girl at the wedding tomorrow.
Elena: My butt itches.
Nino: Well as long as you keep your mouth shut at the reception.
Alya: Okay. Let's practice. This is your basket. *She lend Elena the basket.* Pretend there are Rose pedals in there. Now once you walk down the aisle, you throw the rose petals on the aisle as you walk.
Elena: Why do flower girls drop the petals on the ground?
Alya: Well. It's symbolic. It represents the loss of purity to passion, love, and fertility.
Nino: And girls your age do it all the time at weddings.
Elena: Wow.
Alya: Now, let's do practice run. *Elena walk and she pretend to drop the petals on the ground.* There you go. You got it.
Nino: You're doing good, sweetie.
Elena: Thank you, daddy.
Alya: Okay. Let's get you out of the dress. We want to be nice and clean for tomorrow.
Elena: Okay. *They go to the bedroom and take off the dress, Alya hang the dress up and put a plastic bag over it.*
Alya: We'll find you some shoes later.
Elena: Okay.
Alya: Wanna help me with dinner?
Elena: Okay. *They leave the bedroom and head to the kitchen.*
In Marinette's house, Marinette turned the stove off on both eyes.
Marinette: Okay. Linguine's done. Clams are done. Time to assemble them. *She go to the pantry and get 3 plates and make one plate for Luka, make another one for the kwamis, and one for herself.* Luka. Dinner's ready.
Luka: Okay. *He get up and go to the table.* I got it.
Marinette: Thank you. You mind getting water for both of us?
Luka: Yeah. *He take one plate from her right hand and he put it on the table, he go to the pantry and get 2 cups, then to the fridge and get a pitcher of water and he poured some in both cups and put one on Marinette's side and one on his side, then Marinette put the other plate down for her kwamis, they hover all over it, and she get her plate from the stove and put it on the table too.* Thank you.
Luka: You're welcome. *They both sit down.*
Marinette: Hope you like it.
Luka: Melody, you know I'll love anything you cook. *He grab a fork and try it, he likes it.* It's delicious.
Marinette: Glad you like it. *She take a bite and eat it too. The kwamis eat it too.*
Mullo: What's this?
Tikki: Looks like a clam. *Mullo smelled it and take a bite too.*
Mullo: Yummy.
Plagg: This is delicious. *He slurped on the noodles, what he didn't know was that he was slurping Tikki's noodle, they got close and kiss, they were both surprised.*
Luka: Never knew you could make this.
Marinette: It was my dad's dish. He made it before and he taught me how to make it.
Luka: It's good either way. *He try a clam and he like it.* And the clams are good.
Marinette: To be honest, I wasn't a clam person, but after trying it, I like it. *She twirl her fork and take another bite, Luka drink some water.*
Luka: This could he the best thing you made.
Marinette: The first? Why the first?
Luka: I don't know. Just a saying.
Marinette: Okay. Thank you for that. *They keep eating.*
Meanwhile in Alya's house, Alya made some meatloaf for dinner, also mashed potatoes and gravy.
Alya: Okay. Meatloaf's in the oven. Should be ready in 10 minutes. Better get started on the mashed potatoes. *She grabbed a box of mashed potato mix, open the box, open the bag and pour it in the pot and start stirring it up. Then she get the gravy mix and start making it too.*
Alan: Mom, I'm hungry.
Alya: It's not done yet. It will be down soon. Just give it some time.
Alan: Okay. *Alya keep cooking until it was getting close to being done. After some time, Alya checked on the meatloaf and it's all done.*
Alya: Now it's all done. *She carry the casserole dish with the meatloaf and place it at the middle of the table, she also get the bowl of buttery mashed potatoes and the gravy bowl too.* Meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner.
Nino: Looks delicious.
Alya: Just wait until you taste it. *She get the knife and cut the meatloaf pieces and serve them to everyone at the table, then start scooping some mashed potatoes to everyone and get some gravy too. They start to eat, so far they like it.*
Nino: Not bad meatloaf.
Alya: Thank you.
Nate: Yuck. I don't like meatloaf.
Alya: Nate, you haven't tried it yet.
Nate: Meatloaf sucks.
Nino: Nate, just try it. You might like it.
Nate: Okay. (I hate meatloaf.) *He take the fork and get a bite of meatloaf, he chewed it and swallow it.* It's good.
Alya: Told you like it.
Nate: Meh. It's okay, not my favorite.
Nino: At least you tried it.
Alya: I'll make something else tomorrow night.
Nate: Okay. Can we have pizza?
Alya: Maybe. *Nate keep eating the meatloaf and mashed potatoes.*
Nino: So, what you got planned for tonight before the wedding?
Alya: I decided to invite Marinette to bowling. We haven't been spending time with her since we all been planning the wedding. Which thankfully, the reception is tomorrow.
Nino: Think she'll love it?
Alya: She will. You didn't tell them, did you?
Nino: My lips are still sealed.
Alya: There you go. I knew you could keep a secret.
Nino: Have you ever have doubted on me?
Alya: No. Well, sometimes. But other than that. I'm proud of you for keeping this a secret for a while.
Nino: Yeah. You're right. *They keep eating.*
In Marinette's house, Marinette do the dishes and put them up so they can dry off.
Marinette: Who wants a cookie? *The kwamis answered at once, Marinette dry her hands and get the cookie jar and get one cookie out and give it to Tikki.* You'll have to share it.
Tikki: Okay. *They break the cookie into 4 pieces and they start eating their piece.*
Marinette: (It's like they're my kids. But small and can fly and give us powers.) *Luka go in the fridge and get a bottle water and take a sip.*
Luka: Doing dishes again?
Marinette: Was I suppose to do them tomorrow?
Luka: No. I'm just saying you're working too much. Think you can take a break?
Marinette: I will. I know Alya wanted me to go out and I will. And I don't want you to do this.
Luka: And why's that?
Marinette: Cause you'll think I'm lazy and can't do anything around here.
Luka: You know I wouldn't say you're lazy. Tell you what. Let me handle this. You just get ready, okay?
Marinette: Well, I guess so.
Luka: Thank you. *He kiss her on the forehead, Marinette leave the kitchen and Luka do the rest of the dishes. Marinette go in the room and get ready for tonight. After that, she leave the room and pass the kitchen.*
Marinette: Well, I'm off.
Luka: Have fun, okay?
Marinette: Don't I always? *They both chuckled.*
Luka: You do. *Marinette blew him a kiss and leave the house and Luka finish up cleaning the kitchen.*
