Goth soon teleported back to the front door of his house and knocked. A few seconds passed before the door was opened by Shino.
"Geno! Goths home!" She smiled. Goth gently patted Shino's skill. Shino then scurried his way back inside, Goth steeping inside the warm house. Reaper soon came over. "Where'd you go?" He asked
Goth sighed, "Went to attempt to fix some things... didn't go as planned-" Goth explained. Reaper walked over, "Wanna tell me, or is it a teenager secret?" He asked
"Dad...I think the thing that happened with Dream and Nightmare...is happening again, just with Palette and Incubux," Goth placed his skull on his chest.
"Hm?" Reaper rose a brow. "Incubux is bullying Palette- along with PJ...so it's bitter between them... I went to go make them both apologize but they refused to and left-" Goth whined
"Hm...sounds bitter-" Reaper responded. "PJ's reasoning on bullying was was because he gets judged for being part of Error's magic while Palette is both Ink and Dream made..." Goth explained
"Really?" Reaper was unsure what to do. "What should I do? I don't want to hurt them in the future..." Goth gripped Reaper's black cloak. He was scared
Reaper caressed his skull. "Don't you worry about a thing- I'll fix it," Reaper kissed his skull. "Okay..." Goth looked down as he let Reaper go before walking to his room.
Geno soon came downstairs and stood next to Reaper. "What was that about!" Geno asked. "...Where are Ink, Dream, Nightmare, and Cross?" He asked. Shino watched from the side.
"They're-" Geno started.
"Actually...just bring everyone to Outertale-" Reaper turned to Geno before teleporting away.
"I...how rude!" Geno huffed his cheeks. "Fine- I suppose Ink and Dream are in that void we found-"
Geno then opened a portal. The sound of magic being used. Shino walked over quietly, behind Geno.
Geno walked in as Shino followed.
The portal closed. The area was pitch black and dark. Glitched laughter came from the area.
They were in the Mainframe.
"What do you plan on giving up, protector?" The voice spoke. "You are no match for me! At this point, I am playing with you!" The air had pixels of structures.
Sitting on one, was a glitched skeleton. One of the white bones and blue strings.
"I won't have you ruining the world Error404!!" Ink pointed in anger. "Seeing you try is cute...but my power rank is beyond you, so just give up" Error404's smile turned to a blank stone look.
"This multiverse was bound to fail...once my own AU is back, then everything will be better... I'm aware Error has gone soft, so our deal is broken... I'm more focused on getting my own back" He glared.
He held a whip in hand that glowed brightly. "Watch out!" Blue then pushed Ink out the way. Error404 pulled his whip back and cracked it forward, hitting Blue.
"ACK!!" Blue cried before falling! Shino watched in a bit of fear. Geno ran over. "Blue!!" Geno picked up Blue. Dream attempted to shoot his bow and arrows at Error404.
"How dull." He responded before the arrows turned straight to pixels. "How?!" Dream huffed.
"We must go now! Hurry!" Geno told them. Geno opened a portal as Ink and Dream retreated with Geno and Blue.
"Hm? Over already? Alright-" Error404 shrugged. The pixels soon disappeared as he landed on the ground.
Shino watched him. "Hm?" Error404 looked over to Shino. "...?" Shino tensed up and trembled. She was too frightened to teleport away.
Error404 sighed, "Little baby bones shouldn't be here-" he walked over to Shino who was frozen still. He was taller than expected.
"... what's your name?" Error404 asked. "S-Shi...n-no" she responded. He gently patted her head. He saw the code he needed from her.
"I'm Error404, don't worry about what you saw...if some stranger barged into your house and started fighting you, you'd fight back wouldn't you?" He smiled
Shino slightly shook her head. "Good, don't worry, I'll take care of you," he smiled kindly. Shino felt a little more comfortable. "Why not take me home?" She asked
"If I step outside with you, an entire AU will crash and erase itself, so I can't," he explained. Shino nodded, "we'll be here for a while together, hm?" He smiled
She nodded happily. "Okay!" She then proceeded to hug him. "Thank you for taking care of me," she told her. His smile turned stern as she hugged him.
He had no warm feelings for her. He just needed her for code. "Of course." He told her...
From there, Geno told Nightmare, Cross, and Error to meet Reaper at Outertale and dropped Ink, Dream and Blue off there where Reaper waited.
Ink sat on the ground of Outertale. "What's up Reaper?" Ink asked. "Yeah-...you had Geno pull us out a fight...though we did need the break," Dream then laid on the ground. "I'll explain when the others get here-" He said
"No need, we're here-" a portal had opened with Nightmare, Cross, and Error walking through. "What's up?" Cross asked as the portal closed behind them
"Alright...it's come to my attention that none of you haven't been so-called 'parents'...especially you, Ink and Dream," he looked over. "Eh? What do you mean?" Dream asked. "We don't have time to be parents" Ink huffed
"That's no excuse, they're still children and need an adult to be there for them," Reaper told them. "Well sorry for not being perfect- Error404 has things planned, AU's are still being ruined and it's not from Error's own doing anymore," Ink said
"Does it matter?" Reaper turned to Ink. "Of course it does-"
"Didn't seem like it when your focus was sole on Error, not Error404..." Reaper glared. "This discussion isn't about Error404 either way, this discussion is about Palette...speaking of which" Reaper then turned to Nightmare and Cross.
"Are you aware that you're plan of making our children friends, is failing?" Reaper asked. "Hm? What do you mean?" Cross asked.
"You should know, considering that you are close to your son Incubux...he's been bullying Palette-" Reaper made him aware. "Same with Paperjam following Incubux example..." Reaper looked over to Error.
Error tensed a bit, frustrated.
"Wha-" Nightmare seemed a bit shocked. "I suppose you're too busy paying attention to Moonlight, your new son, am I correct?" Reaper asked.
"Moonlight is only a child, of course, we're keeping an eye out on him! Incubux is grown, a teen, he's probably just going through an angsty phase-" Nightmare crossed his arms
"Does that mean you love Moonlight more than the other..." Reaper glared. "...Of course not-" Nightmare huffed.
"Then you'll keep what I said in mind. You all need a break- go spend family time with your children more often...for people who's lived longer than me- you all suck at family-" Reaper grinned before he teleported away.
The others looked at each other. "...So your son has been bullying mine?" Dream stood up. "You say that as if I knew- if you think I'm trying to turn my son into something like me then you're highly mistaken brother" Nightmare glared.
There was tension. Cross held Nightmare's arm. "Relax, we'll talk with Incubux, okay?" Cross reassured. "I'll be sure to talk with PJ and Gradient" Error mentioned before he opened a portal to the anti-void and left. "Hmph- fine. Let's go" Cross opened a portal back to their mansion.
"...Maybe it's good for you to hang out with Pally! When's the last time you both hung out?" Ink asked.
"His last birthday...but we've been so busy- we're still busy- let's just get back to Error404 and-"
"I think Reaper's right..." Blue said. "I haven't seen...Sprinkle and Fury in a minute...I know you guys say it's for them but...I miss them" Blue said.
"...Right- let's take a break, the multiverse isn't leaving us tomorrow anyway-" Ink said. "...Okay-" Dream stood up, helping Ink and Blue to their feet. "If you need me, you know where I am" Blue opened a portal to Dusttale where his family would stay.
Ink and Dream waved goodbye as they both went to Dreamtale to check up on Palette.
The house was quiet. "Pally! You home?" Dream called out. "Check his room," Ink said. Dream went upstairs, approaching his door. He knocked, "Son?" He asked.
It was silent. Dream opened the door and glanced inside to see Palette on his bed asleep. Dream could feel the negative energy in the room. Dream walked in and sat on Palette's bed. He rubbed his back caringly.
"...I'm sorry I wasn't here to stop their torment" Dream leaned over and kissed his forehead. Palette slowly smiled in his sleep.
Ink walked over, holding a paintbrush. He quickly painted two plushies that look like Dream and himself before placing them near Palette. "...We'll check up on him tomorrow when he's awake...maybe we can think of things to do for now," Ink said.
"...How did he grow up so fast...I wish I was there to see him grow up..." Dream lightly hugged Palette before stepping away and leaving him to rest. "Night my little Roller rockstar!" Dream whispered as Ink and Dream stepped out of his room and closed the door...
Error came to the antivoid. "Where's PJ?" Error called out. Gradient looked up at Error. "He's asleep-" he pointed next to him. "What's up?" he asked. "...Were you aware he was bullying Palette?" he asked
"Yes. I didn't think it was dire till about recently" Gradient answered. "Am I in trouble as well?" he asked. "No...Reaper said I should hang out with you two mistakes-" Error put his hands in his pockets. "Perhaps tomorrow" Error shrugged
"Hm...that's fine, I look forward to it," Gradient then laid down. Error looked at the two on the floor. He snapped his fingers as blue-crocheted blankets would fall on the both of them. "Night-" Error then stepped away and teleported elsewhere for matters at hand.
Cross and Nightmare soon came back home, and two small pairs of feet came running to them. "Moonlight!" Cross exclaimed as Moonlight hugged the both of them. "I win! I win! I win!" Moonlight smiled.
"Hm? Win what?" Cross asked. "I stayed up longer than big bro!" he giggled. Nightmare sighed. "I'll take the little monster to bed-" Nightmare picked up Moonlight and placed him on his shoulders before walking away.
"Hm-..." Everyone else seemed to be asleep, even his teammates. Cross teleported to the front of Incubux door and knocked before opening it.
He could see Incubux on the carpet, sleeping. He seemed to have been reading a book. Perhaps to Moonlight before he passed out. "Hm...I wonder why..." Cross whispered to himself before closing the door. He'll have to ask tomorrow perhaps.
The night went on peacefully.
