━ ATHENA LOOKED OUT OF THEIR CARRAIGE WINDOW, looking at boney horse-like creatures pulling the carriage. I didn't know Thestrals were the ones pulling the carriages.
Normally, she would be questioning who on Earth she saw diee, but remembered what had happened earlier this year, when she had technically watched the life leave the Chitauri soldiers body.
Turning her head back around, she faced the three, breaking the silence. "So... what do you think is happening at Hogwarts this year?"
"Something's happening at Hogwarts?" Harry asked obliviously.
"Well obviously." The girl commented, "Ron's older brothers - part the twins - have been hinting something's going to happen this year - mainly Percy. Dad and James also said something exciting is going to happen, and Charlie even said he'll see us soon!" She exclaimed, excited and curious for what was going to happen.
"Maybe someone important is coming." Ron suggested.
"Or a massive event is going to happen!" Athena's pearly white teeth showed themselves again as the girl stood up in excitement, immediately sitting back down as the carriage had gone over a rock.
"Yea that could be it..." Harry thought, his mind wandering off somewhere else. "D'you think Angelina's the Quiddtch Captain this year?"
"Probably." Athena shrugged. "Her or Alicia. Speaking of Quidditch... Ron! You should try out for keeper!"
"What! No! I highly doubt I'll make it in-"
"Stop talking ill of yourself Ron," Hermione spoke up. "You're not a bad keeper so there's a likely chance you'll make it in."
"Listen to wise old M here, she believes in you!" Athena pointed her hands at Hermione. "I bet she'll be rooting for you on the stands loud and clear," Athena cleared her throat, "Go Ron-"
"Alright, that's enough Fi." Hermione nudged the girl, Athena laughing at her cheeks reddening.
"Alright," The girl made herself comfortable again on the compartment seat, looking at the two boys. Her blank stare caught their attention,
"What?" Both of them asked simultaneously.
"Why're you looking at us like that?" Harry continued.
"Well, your hair." Athena continued looking at them.
"What about it?" Ron questioned.
"Why do all the boys suddenly have long hair? So far out of all the boys I've seen, the only one who doesn't have long hair is my cousin dearest." Athena brows furrowed.
"Do we not look good with it?" Harry asked, playfully offended.
"Never said that. Just a mere question. You guys look dashing." Athena answered sarcastically.
"Obviously. We do look splendid, don't we Harry?" Ron looked at his best mate.
Harry just looked at him, a weird look on his face. "Yes, we do. But I obviously look better."
Ron scoffed. "Yeah right."
"Girls, who do you think looks better... me or Ron?" Harry looked towards the two girls.
All at the same time, three voices spoke.
"Me."
"Both of you."
"The twins look better."

𝐇𝐎𝐆𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐋𝐄
Chatter filled the Great Hall. Everybody was back at Hogwarts. The events that had happened during the Quidditch World Cup weren't mentioned between the quad as they didn't want to ruin and make the atmosphere awkward.
"Is it just me, or does Hogwarts look... cleaner?" Harry observed, causing the other three to turn their heads around, observing the place. He was right. The hallways looked like the metal of Tony's armour. Shiny.
"You're not the only one." Athena answered, nodding.
"D'you think it's got something to do with that thing that's supposed to happen this year?" Ron asked, looking over the table, almost drooling at the desert. "Look! They've got treacle tart- Oi! Creevey! Pass the tart!"
"Say it nicely at least." Athena smacked Ron in the arm, as she was sitting next to him. She looked over to Colin grinning at him. "Thanks Colin!"
Ron ignored what she said as he continued to ogle at the desserts. "Spotted dick! Chocolate gateau! Oh Merlin..."
"Anyways, back to our original topic... probably. Or else Filch is wasting his time because me and the twins are just going to ruin it sometime this year." Athena spoke, slicing a lice of treacle tart with her fork, placing it in her mouth.
"That won't be necessary, Miss Black." A loud voice echoed through the hall, hearing Athena's statement. Everyone had then quieted down, looking at the Headmaster. "Now that everyone has tucked in and the first-years have been sorted, I would like to announce a few notices."
"Mister Filch, the caretaker, has asked me to tell you the list of objects forbidden in the castle has this year include Screaming Yo-yos, Fanged Frisbees and Ever-bashing boomerangs..."
Athena stopped listening to whatever Dumbledore was saying, seeing as she wouldn't really care if it was forbidden or not. The worse thing that could happen is get the item confiscated and she gets detention. Nothing she hasn't dealt with before.
"-And another thing, the Quidditch Cup will not take place this year." Now that brought Athena out of her thoughts.
"What! Why not!?" She yelled out loudly, a bunch of other protests yelling with her. "That's a load of rubbish!"
"This," the headmasters voice loud, the yells lessening and quieting down to a minimum, "is due to an event that will take place in October and will continue throughout Hogwarts. The event that will happen will surely take up the professor's time and energy - but I'm positive you all will surely be excited, as I would gladly announce-"
Then a loud cracking of thunder and the doors of the Great Hall had slammed open. Entered was a man holding a staff and a brown coat. Every head in the hall had turned to the disruption, some people shocked at who entered and some confused on who the man was. Athena was one of the first batch.
Ex-Auror Mad-Eye Moody had just entered the Great Hall.
"That's bloody Mad-Eye Moody..." Athena whispered, her face in awe. She's heard of all the achievements of the man, how he as able to put a whole lot of death eaters in Azkaban.
The man had walked up to the teachers table, sitting down on the empty spot. "As I was saying, the Triwizard Tournament is being hosted at Hogwarts this year!"
Athena's mouth opened agape, shocked by the news. "You're joking!" Fred's voice was heard throughout the Hall. Everyone laughed, even Dumbledore chuckling appreciatively.
"I'm not joking Mister Weasley," Dumbledore answered. "'Though now you mention it, I did hear a good one over the summer about a troll, a hag, and a leprechaun who all go into a bar-"
McGonagall cleared her throat loudly, interrupting him.
"Right, where was I? The Triwizard Tournament! Some of you will not know what this tournament involves, so I hope to those who do know, forgive me for this short explanation.
Excitement was building up within Athena's body. "Oh I'm bloody excited for this."
