For 15 or so minutes she kept assessing herself at the mirror.
"I looked so young" she whispered but still in earshot. So I heard it loud and clear.
"Well that's because I didn't put Any excess cosmetics on your face Queen Mother, since some of this stuff are harmful to the skin if put too much" I explained
Well she do look a little bit younger in her simple appearance though i gave her a contour and a nose line plus added some highlights to complete the look.
Though back then she looked older cause she's putting too much powder that through out the day would sometimes make the skin dry or oily.
Plus it also clog the pores heavily that make the skin irritated causing that red annoying who suddenly just pops on your face that is known by the name of pimples.
"So your saying that someone deliberately making me look old?" She asked surprised
Well to be honest she's just in her fifties but she looked like she's already in her sixties cause of excess cosmetics which the one putting it on her doesn't know how to apply it.
"Calm down Queen Mother No one would dare to ruin your beauty, as the one who's in charge of your cosmetics might not know about this fact or they just don't have the knowledge how to use it" I said as I assist her to the table as well be having breakfast together
" how can I maintain it to be like this then." She asked eagerly
'Well she's one hell of a beauty addict' I though face palming in my head as I kept my lips smiling
"Then let me help you with your cosmetics everyday Queen Mother, and I have some tricks to keep your skin moist and glowing once more... and before your natal day you can already see the difference by bounds" I said selling my services to this old hag
'Just be thankful that your that jerk's mother, and that jerk is the one who my father fully supported., I'm only doing this for him and my brother!' I rant in my head complaining that this is too much work
Cause I can't even do my own hair and it always stayed in a messy half bun with the Phoenix hairpin to keep it in place.
And when she agreed to my offer I started going to her place regularly as her birthday is coming.
And speaking of birthday I asked Feng Yun to get me four wood planks that's in a size of a man and two portrait size or half a size of a man.
As I already knew what to give that old hag for her birthday.
Gou Shi asked to help me paint it but I said it won't be special if I don't do it myself.

Days have passed and Queen Mother's big day came. Everyone is excited to attend
while I just came from Cardigan courtyard to fix that old hag's make up
And now I'm in my room frozen at what my dear Mother in law gave A-Jin
"Say A-Jin you sure this came from Queen mother?" I asked for the tenth time as I daze off just looking at it
"Yes your highness, her grace said that she wanted to see you in something formal in her Natal day." She said as she help me with my hair
Which she put the appropriate hair ornament on it, and currently weighing in my head, And I'm not used having this little chimes dangling on my head.
But what can I do that's what the old hag wants.
To see me in formal attire..
As I do my make up I thought that a fierce look would complement that black dress so I put a fierce make up on, with a scarlet red lips.
Which is both alluring and terrifying, that anyone would be trapped instantly if they enter my dome.
I smirked at the thought as I looked at A-Jin presenting me the dress.
"Fine help me wear this thing then" I said giving up cause if not I'll be fashionably late.
I don't want to steal the spot light from that old hag with a grand entrance, now do I?
A-Jin dressed me up as she tie the knots to secure the fabric not to fall off.
And if your asking if I took off my hunting clothes the answer is No, I just put the black dress over it.
As A-Jin finished dressing me up, I look at myself in a mirror and was surprised at how I looked
A-Jin carefully put long silver earrings on me to complete the look, which I'm itching to toss it away as it's quite heavy cause it's probably made out of pure silver.
But on second thought I didn't toss it away as it's still valuable
