Ever since the Lord gave the order to abduct the empress. They have already buried more men, than Red have intended to sacrifice
But they haven't get a hold of her, not even one single hair from her that got him wondering of how skilled this woman could be.,
And tonight He decided to do the job himself, and lead the group to finish their assigned task.,
They are already at their posts and we're monitoring the movement of the woman that their gonna abduct, as they waited for the right moment to enter her chamber.
While with Kim Li, she knew the presence of thirteen skilled men outside her chambers
And to her laziness, she decided to get to the bottom of this., as she also wanted to know why they wanted to take her so badly.
Since it's been days that she's been attacked by her abductors, and haven't have the time to ask questions since they all commit suicide on their own.
She's currently writing a letter for Li Cheng and her brother that woke up not so long ago, he still need to recover but thankfully his conscious,
And said to the letter to give her a week or so to explore, and if she didn't return to the promise date then they can assume for the worst.
She felt that five of the men outside sneakily enter her room., as she give a deep sigh.
"You can just tell me honestly what you want..., and Don't you guys dare mess up my room like those previous idiot ones did"- Kim Li
As she put down the pen and face the men she felt most threatening .,
Which was Red.
"Our Lord wanted to have a word with you.,"-Red said coldly
"Oh! Okay... lead the way"- Kim Li said calmly
That made the other twelve men suspicious of the girl and her plans to escape.,
While Red was a little dumbfounded as he didn't expect someone in this world that can act calmly while being targeted to abduct.,
But nonetheless they lead the way carrying her out of her chambers to their prepared carriage.
While in the carriage there's five men Red included, were guarding her, securing for her not to escape, while five is on the next smaller carriage while the last three were tasked to be the coachmen.
Kim Li just kept observing their weird behavior., I mean it's weird for the abductors to not even tie her up.,
it's more like an entourage of guards, guarding a Royal.,
But the weirdest thing was she felt connected to the man she talked to earlier that she cannot explain why.,
"So, your not gonna fill me in first of the do's and don'ts of your organization?"-Kim Li
She asked as the silence in the carriage is irritating her.
"Just answer the Lord's questions, and we'll let you off after."- Red
He said looking out the carriage window, not caring to explain the true meaning of his words
"Oh, by letting me off after. Means taking my head off my shoulder?"- Kim Li
She said staring intently at him with a raised brows. And with her response the rest of the men inside raised their guard up, to prevent her incase she gonna try to escape, after knowing the truth behind their leaders words.
"I ain't escaping, I'm tired of you guys coming after my butt, besides if I wanted to, I can just kill you all on the spot."-Kim Li
She rolled her eyes on them as she rest her chin on her hand which is resting on the window of the carriage.
And with what she just said , became a fuse to build up tense atmosphere inside the carriage.
Then a couple more minutes have passed and Kim Li was terribly bored by their slow advance.
"Are we there yet?"-Kim Li asked but was ignored.
And since she thought that they have the guts to ignore her.
She asked the same question every ten seconds, that made the five men with her, a little bit annoyed.,
While Kim Li is surely enjoying their troubled faces every time she asked the same question over and over again.
She also don't know it herself at how she's comfortably sitting inside a carriage with the people that intended to kill her afterwards, she's just in the mood to piss them off for now.
While the men inside the carriage are already about to burst like a volcano., they all felt that she's doing it intentionally,(which she is) and they can't do anything about her whining.
"Are we there yet? Come on..! You can at least answer my question".-Kim Li whined even more childishly
"Yes! We're almost there!"- Red answered for the sake of his and his men's sanity.
It's the first time he felt annoyed and childish because of this woman's childish antics.
"Then that's good, you guys are boring to talk to, maybe your Lord can give me more entertainment than you guys"- Kim Li scuff at them
That made them feel really irritated that she just disrespected their Lord and just really want to stab her at this very moment.
But before they can take action, the carriage suddenly stopped and the coachman outside tell them that they've arrived,
"Thank heavens, now let's get this over with."- Kim Li said as she was assisted down by the coachman
"You did a good job pissing our Leader off"the coachman said as he slightly smirk at her direction.
Apparently they all have trained to have a high senses, specially in hearing and they all heard what happened inside the carriage she's in.
And were also entertained at the new found emotion that their leader can make around the empress.
"It's my specialty."- Kim Li answered beaming at his praise
While Red was about to burst at his teammates mocking gaze, but he just held it in, as they're almost at the meeting room.
They guide Kim Li inside and they all entered a huge room where all their elders and masters gathered.
"Why do I get a feeling that I'm in a multibillion corporate meeting at the moment"-Kim Li whispered to no one, but was heard by her escorts who looked confused at the words she just said.
While she scan the room with her eyes, she decided to take a deep breath and look at them head high with her business mode on.
"Sorry to have kept you waiting ladies and gentlemen, I'm Kim Li Ching The Empress of the Empire. I wonder as of why I am brought here in front of all of you?"- Kim Li as she leisurely sat at the empty seat, which was for their Lord.
And from the first impression they all didn't like her humor though some liked her guts at most.
