Kim Li knew that the din was up since she saw her brother among the crowd.
She just gave a sigh and glared at the Xin's and their fake empress.
"Guards arrest this imbeciles and torture them to death! For hugging authority, impersonating the Mother of the empire, and man handling the emperor!"- Kim Li
As she gave Rin Li a glance and he ordered his men to do as she said.
And in a split second the private guards were all tied with a rope while the Xin's are all at the ground kowtowing and asking for mercy.
And the concubine passed out since she heard the severe punishment.,
The guards are pardoned and were all deployed to the border while the Xin's will be in house arrest for the next five years of mental torture.,
While the Concubine Jen will be demoted from her title and will be attending, her dimwit half sister that was suggested by his brother.,
Ven and Gin was stoned at their feet to know that their big sister Kim and big brother Cheng were the empress and emperor.
They didn't know what to do and how to act in front of them., but their worries subsided since Kim Li asked them nicely to treat them both the way they used to, and to break the news to the little ones that they both needed to be at the border.,
She also promise to explain to them what happened properly, and asked them to wait for them after their trip to the border.
That the two teenagers nod, and with her last pointers in regards with the trading market, they head off to their original destination.
They reach the Border for three more or less bumpy hours., that annoyed Kim Li beyond her imagination since the one paired up with her in the carriage was still spaced out from the shenanigans that happened in the afternoon.
"Can you stop making that face.., it's annoying."-Kim Li
She said that he sent a dull look back, which thick her off even more.
"Listen here. And listen well, You don't have to chase for anything in this world if it's rightfully yours in the beginning. Faith and destiny will place them at their right place at the right time., if your seeking for love.... then I'll advise you that you should understand love and apply it into yourself first., before loving someone..., loving yourself first and knowing your worth can help you bring closer to the person that is destined to reciprocate the love you'll give."-Kim Li said seriously
She might not have experienced the said love, but she knew herself better than anyone else. And she vow to not let herself be fool and present herself to be someone's pawn playing in their ridiculous game called "love"...
"It seems that your really are an expert on everything."-Li Cheng
He said giving her an amused look and for some reason the weight in his chest eased up a little, by her mare words.
"Believe me, I haven't love anyone besides myself., the mare thought that no one can take a bullet for me from a sniper., is enough for me to push through, cause I really don't want to see my self lost in the empty abyss of self loath again.,"-Kim Li
As she took her things from the carriage as Li Cheng followed her., since the Marquis only prepared one room for the both of them, plus the situation at the barracks with the disease, they need more space to contain it.
And Kim Li doesn't mind it, rather she's somewhat used to it since Li Cheng was the one next to her when sleeping at the kids humble home.,
Out of tiredness Kim Li just face plant flop at the bed and sleep after she throw her things at her side of the bed.,
While Li Cheng were puzzled at what just happened., he was spaced out at what she just said to him about faith and destiny. That he had a hard time processing it, and it shocked him at how carelessly she just throw her things just like that and jump at the bed completely knocked out.
While he still have some paperwork to scan before falling to sleep.,

While Kim Li woke up by the bright light as she open her eyes to check, she saw how Li Cheng spaced out.,
She decided to get up and head to where the poor emperor is., observing him that he didn't felt that she's just behind him.,
"You know, you need to sleep right?"-Kim Li
"Ahhhh! Are trying to scare me to death!"-Li Cheng
He yelled that she startled him as he paled like he saw a ghost.,
"Don't ever do that again!"- Li Cheng
"Yeah.., yeah, but your light is keeping me awake., and you've been spacing out and you haven't got any of this done., I think you should already sleep now." Kim Li
As she looked at him with concern in her eyes.,
though her mind thought to knock him out with one of his pressure points if he chose to be stubborn., so she can sleep more without the bright light.,
"*sigh* I guess your right"- Li Cheng
He said that made her to look over him, double taking as she can't believe that Li Cheng the freaking emperor who kept picking a fight with her at almost every time.
But now his spaced out and casually agreeing with her.. with out any fuss.
"Hyst.. Come one... What is this all about?"-Kim Li asked a little bit annoyed at his behavior.
"It's nothing., we should head to bed"- Li Cheng

She said sitting next to him and forcefully grabbing his shoulder and putting his head on her lap as she stroke his hair softly.,
That startle Li Cheng as his not used to her being soft ,genuine gentle, and concerned for him.
"You know bottling things up is not good for you dear Emperor, It's more of a burden than relief. It is suffocating right?" -Kim Li
She asked knowingly., and he just nod and closed his eyes
"Yeah., I'm confused and lost right now."- Li Cheng
