“Stop coming back…” He murmured, unsure of his own statement.

Lin stared at him. Groff’s head was down, but you could almost hear the tears falling. Lin stared longer, and longer. Almost forever. How could you not? He adored his soft, yet masculine features. He adored his blue eyes, his thin lips that were always pursed together. The small curls that were lovely to untangle.

Lin was on the fence. Stay or go?

Stay means satisfaction, love, comfort. It also meant hurt. Each kiss felt lonely, but he felt as if he were on the right path. It felt like bittersweet endings, with no absolute course.

Going may have been a worse option. Why go, when he was to come back anyways. He didn’t know when, but this was an absolute ending. Thing was, maybe it would stop? All the hurt? Would Jonathan be happier? Would he stop crying? Is he better off without Lin? He contemplated for a bit too long, because Jonathan ended up tugging on his hand.

“Just hold me.” Jonathan said softly, burying his head within Lin, trying to get lost. Groff focused on the soft touches, the way they tangled into each other. The small kisses Lin would occasionally leave, as if he wanted to leave a mark, a reminder that he would be there. Maybe not always, but he was there. That was enough.

They ended up falling asleep together. Neither of them remembered how they ended up in Jon’s bed, but they did.

Lin awoke first, deciding to stare at Jonathan. His eyes roamed over his bare torso. Jonathan was an angel. He was something that was much too difficult to describe, even for a skilled writer such as himself. He gave Lin such happiness. Even in dark times, like these, dark times as lovers, there isn’t a moment they spend with each other where they’re not laughing, not smiling and loving.

Lin, not being able to contain himself, threw his body over Jon’s, resulting in him waking up.

“‘Morning babe.” Lin planted a small kiss on his shoulder blade, a way to show his affection. His favorite spots were his shoulders, nose, knuckles, and collarbone. They were so intimate, and Lin somehow thought that made everything better. It didn’t. Every day, every night, they still hurt like no other.

“Get off.” Jonathan said jokingly.

Lin, being the absolute foolish wreck he is, cuddled him even further.

They stayed like that for a while, becoming lost in each other’s arms. In each other’s warmth.

“Shower with me?” Groff asked.

In response, Lin immediately stood up, and made his way to the bathroom. Jonathan laughed, while also admiring Lin’s figure.

He was in love. He didn’t want to admit it, because that would mean admitting to the fact that Lin was cheating, and he wasn’t ready for that one. And so, like every other weekend, he ignored his guilty conscious, and joined Lin.
