It was already 9pm nang makauwi kami sa bahay. Pagod na pagod ang katawan ko, ewan ko ba. Nanatili lang din naman ako sa garden noon kasama si Renoah hanggang sa maggabi at naghapunan kami sa loob.
Well, yes. After that cringe scene of us two, naging maayos naman na ang turing ko sa kanya. I'm treating her as my friend and as my little sister na rin. I realized that she's really not that bad. Pangit lang talaga siguro ang first impression ko sa kanya lalo na't she looks nerd before and when she asked me if I liked her make-over. Tsaka doon na rin sa part na tinanong niya kung sino ang mas maganda sa kanila ni Caissiana.
Now, I know the reason why she's acting like we're close before. Because she really wanted to be close with me.
Why would she choose me tho? Hindi naman ganoon kaganda ang ugali ko.
I sighed. Itutulog ko nalang 'to. I shouldn't be stressed because of her.
It was 8 in the morning nang magising ako sa malakas na tugtog sa baba. I have a feeling that it's Teirra who's banging it loud.
I sighed as I get up on my bed and fixed it.
"Another day without you, babe..." I said as I glanced at the picture frame of us on the table.
I shrugged.
"No negativity for now, Patrick!" I energized myself and took a bath.
"When you were my baby!" agad na bungad sa'kin ni Teirra nang makababa ako.
"It started when we were younger, you were mine~" dugtong ni Devant sa kinakanta ni Teirra habang naggigitara.
When did he learn how to play a guitar?
"My boo~" they sang in chorus.
Nakangiti akong sinalubong sila.
"Sinisira niyo umaga ko..." buyo ko sa kanila.
Bumelat naman si Teirra sa'kin.
"Nye! Inggit ka lang dahil pangit boses mo e!" asar niya.
My lips twitched.
"Aba aba! Anong pangit ka diyan? Ano? Duet tayo oh?" hamon ko.
Pumalakpak naman si Devant.
"Sige, duet kayo. Tell me the title of the song and let's see if I know how to play it," usal niya.
I eyed Teirra.
"Okay, you choose what song should we sing..."
Napahalukipkip siya sandali.
"Hm... Wait."
"Bahay Kubo ng Hale. Ano, game?" sabi niya.
Ano nga ulit 'yang kantang 'yan?
"Give me a line..."
"Halika na~ Doon tayo matulog~" kanta ni Teirra.
Now, I remember it.
"Okay, okay. Game. Ikaw, Dev? Do you know that song?" I asked him.
He looked at me.
"Yeah, I do. Favorite song namin 'yan ni Teirra." Sagot niya.
I shrugged.
"Okay, good. Sino mauuna? Ikaw, Ira?" I asked.
"Ikaw muna. You'll be doing the melody and I'll be doing it in a higher key. I'll harmonize it when we'll sing together. Okay?" sabi niya.
I shrugged for nth time.
"Wala akong alam diyan, bahala ka. Gawin mo kung anong gusto mo," sabi ko.
She smirked.
