Shouldn't you beat me up?

A breeze of wind brushed past the garden where Frozen Milk and his suitors sat. Silence as loud as pounding desire hammering against their chests. Frozen Milk gulped. The words came out as smooth as well-dieted leftovers but in the end, they were set free into the air and swirled around his characters' minds.

Glimpse Water stared at Frozen Milk with wide eyes and blinked them incessantly. Morse code was instantly relayed, 'Father are you sure you wanna do this?'

Frozen Milk's eyes magically learnt how to convey morse code as well, 'Yes this is for the best, my son!'

'Father!'

"What are you guys blinking between yourselves again?" Prota crossed his arms and moved closer to Frozen Milk before he aggrieved whined, "Frozen Milk!"

Prota also blinked, "Frozen Milk, am I doing this right?"

As Prota blinked his long eyelashes, he was more seductive than Aphrodite incarnating right here and tempting Frozen Milk!

"Erm," Frozen Milk started but Vil stood up and pushed Frozen Milk down, "My Lord what about my blinking?"

Alright, handsome adonis made out of marble stop spraying your manly charms all around me! You're making me want to give up my desperate well-held on masculinity because I'm apparently a fucking bottom!

Where's my masculinity? Where?

"Hubby!" Ah, here it is.

Holbe also wanted to impress Frozen Milk and her eyes moved like a dancing beauty in water.

"Ok, all of you stop! I'm seriously telling the truth! This old man here didn't have a heart attack doing all this serious thinking, grumbling, mind-bending myself to bring myself to tell you the truth yet you can't even for a fucking second take me seriously?" Frozen Milk stumbled over his words. He didn't know how to react. He was angry, desperate and perplexed about this situation.

Shouldn't they question what he said? Shouldn't they hate him? Be angry at him? So why was he the one feeling all of these emotions? Something was wrong with the script again! Like always! Turn back the time and let us redo this!

"Frozen Milk," Prota wrapped his hand around Frozen Milk after pushing Vil off him. The others returned to their places again and looked at Frozen Milk, "It's ok."

Again! Again! Those pitiful eyes! Stop looking at me like this!

"I'm telling you the truth!"

"Then please explain to us in detail, it's a bit hard to understand what you mean," Prota's warm smile encouraged Frozen Milk.

Frozen Milk couldn't help but to get lost in Prota's eyes. This handsome face, this handsome smile, these eyes that held the whole galaxy-

Fuck! How the hell did this kid act more mature than him the real grown-up who was living his second life?

Frozen Milk almost shed a tear. Seeing them being so understanding made Frozen Milk be proud of them.

"Ok," Frozen Milk finally calmed himself down to start his waterfall.

Then Frozen Milk told them everything, about him being an author from another world, writing this story, them being characters, the plot and goals he had for this book, the transmigration... Frozen Milk told them everything.

Another brief silence appeared until Frozen Milk's small voice that was almost a whisper stabbed everyone in their hearts, "I'm sorry guys, you can hate me if you want. I understand it, I know it's hard for you to digest but I truly love all of you, not just as my characters, no as true living and breathing people that grew on me and I-"

BAM.

Frozen Milk was thrown onto the ground.

Ah, Frozen Milk could understand they'd be angry with him. They'd want to beat the last bit of brain cells out of him, would want to smash his head open to bring out the room of 'Death to transmigration' back and send him back to his world.

Frozen Milk could understand. He gave them such a horrible childhood and past and revealed to them their whole lives were predetermined by a scummy author that was hated by everyone and got off on it.

Yet Frozen Milk still ached. He truly, really, absolutely cared for his characters but now he severed everything and-

Frozen Milk wrapped his arm instinctively around a broad back and blanked. Wait- why was he hugging a ball of fluff? And this ball of fluff was wetting his shoulders?

Frozen Milk finally opened his eyes and saw the familiar figure of Prota hugging Frozen Milk and sobbing, "W-Why are you crying?"

Frozen Milk was at a loss for words as he saw that the other three were also on the verge of breaking into tears.

"You guys why are you all-"

"Frozen Milk!" Prota wailed and finally sat up not letting Frozen Milk out of his arms, "Don't feel bad."

Prota wiped his tears away and his eyes sparkled as he looked at Frozen Milk. This kid, no this puppy-

"But-"

"Father," Glimpse Water sighed as if he couldn't believe Frozen Milk was such a wimp, "Why are you acting like this? Ain't it obvious we won't be fazed by this. I mean I already accepted it, and knew it all the time," Glimpse Water smirked in triumph at everyone.

"Disciple, you are our author too but you have not even the tiniest bit of decency in you or love for us as hubby does," Holbe looked at Glimpse Water in disdain.

"Tch, I only care for father, my whole purpose. Father! My charm points came back right?" Glimpse Water pulled on Frozen Milk too and kissed him on his forehead.

"My Lord is the only creator of mine I can accept. My Lord," Vil also wanted to take Frozen Milk's face in his hand and squeezed it. So cute, "I'll still wait for you tonight."

Oh c'mon stop! Are you really still wanting to do this? Hey, we should be talking about all of your existential crisis here, so how can you be so casual and uncaring about it?

"Why?" Frozen Milk finally choked out, "How can you all be so accepting? I literally gave you so many traumas and-"

"Frozen Milk," everyone looked at him, "It's ok. It doesn't matter. You are all that matters to us. So what? You gave us bad tragic background stories? Made us question ourselves? Yes, that wasn't nice but you regret and reflected on it, right? That's all that matters. You try your best to make us happy and try your best to change our end that was supposed to happen. You care about us. So what? So what if we are characters in a book?"

Frozen Milk's heart felt like it was going to explode. He was moved to the point he was drowning in all of his body water exceeding 100%.

"Even if we're characters, we're still real human beings here to you and hope to all the readers that read about our journey, followed us and loved us, to the point they well, through their hatred for you sent you here. Which is a blessing to us. So, stop blaming himself. We don't care if we are here in a book."

Frozen Milk really couldn't help but throw himself onto everyone for a group hug.
