A/N: Sorry this chapter took so long, I was really struggling to write it for some reason. I hope you all are doing well, kiddos, lots of love.

Peach eyes blankly stared down at the carpeted ground, knees tightly held against her chest as the murmur of voices in the background became nothing more than static. Dried blood flaked off her pjs in vermillion hued specks, dotting the tan armchair she was curled up onto.

Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.

Vallea listened to the steady thrum of her heart beating, the heavy thumps resonated within her ears becoming the only sound she could discern. Featureless figures walked back and forth as time blurred, their colorful outlines becoming hazy mists that idly slipped from sight.

Hands grasped at her figure feverishly trying to pull her back but they all ended up grasping at air, their fingers coiled and taut around nothing as her body melted away until it became nothing but a shadowy cloud of warped pigment and mortal essence. Gravity no longer influenced her as she drifted up, up and away from the apartment that became just a grain of rice the higher she rose. Ivory globes of cotton like fog hung in the air, leisurely gliding through the ebony sky as she soared merely becoming oxygen as she let her being dissolve into nothingness.

"Chicklet?" Hawks who had been called over in the dead of the night kneeled in front of the girl who was just sitting there in the tan armchair staring blankly at the carpeted ground, unmoving. She didn't react to his presence or even acted like she was consciously aware he was there to begin with. It was chilling to see the usual lively girl so...dead like. He peeled his gloves off and gently grasped at her hand, holding the limp extremity in his own warm palms.

"It's pointless to try to talk to her right now, she shut down an hour ago and hasn't responded since." Aizawa stated, standing behind the winged man, his own charcoal eyes observing the motionless girl, arms crossed and forehead creased.

"What happened?"

Aizawa sighed leaning backwards so his body was supported by the cream colored wall behind himself, "From what we can gather the villain who led the act on USJ was seen outside her window, watching her."

"How do we know that it wasn't just some creep trying to peep on her?" The blonde had never hoped for a creep to be perving on Vallea ever before but right now that was all he was wishing for. A creep could be easily handled and are relatively harmless but a villain who seemed to hold power among other villains was a total different story.

Aizawa couldn't help but feel some bit of empathy for the hero who was clearly wishing for anyone but a villain to be outside the girl's room, he had the same thoughts and desires when this all began. But anything involving Vallea was destined to never be that simple or cut and dry, for some reason she always seemed to attract trouble wherever she went. And now that he was her guardian that meant he was also now actively involved in that trouble she so easily allured by just existing. His fingers tapped against his arm as he blinked trying to get rid of burning in his bloodshot eyes. "When I called the police I also called UA to tell them the situation, Hound Dog volunteered to come over to use his quirk to see if the person had the same scent as the villain at USJ. He confirmed that Shigaraki was there on the fire escape, a pane of glass away from Vallea." He somberly told the male, destroying all of his hopes and wishes. "He tried tracking it but it only led to a dead end as his scent ended abruptly, as if he just vanished out of thin air. With so little evidence and leads to go on the police aren't able to do anything on their end, even if they could it wouldn't do a thing, it's not like you can write up a restraining order and expect a villain to abide by it."
