"Mom!" Jo yells.

"Joanna Beth, this family has lost enough. And I won't lose you, too. I just won't." Ellen says.

"I feel kind of bad snaking Jo's case." Sam says as they search the apartment, Sam holding Evie.

"Yeah, maybe she put together a good file. But could you see her out there working one of these things? I don't think so." Dean says. They both pull out their EMF readers. "You getting anything?"

"No, not yet." Sam says. He runs the reader over the light switch making it make noise. "What's that?"

"What?" Dean asks. Sam touches the goo he found.

"Holy crap." Sam mutters. Dean walks over, touching the goo as well. Evie goes to touch the goo when Sam stops her.

"No, not you." Sam tells her.

"You touched it." Evie complains.

"It's for our job. You can't touch it." Sam tells her softly. Evie pouts, watching them inspect the goo on their fingers.

"That's ectoplasm. Well, Sam, I think I know what we're dealing with here. It's the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man." Dean says and Sam rolls his eyes.

"Dean, I've only seen this stuff, like, twice. I mean, to make this stuff you have to be one majorly pissed off spirit." Sam says.

"All right, let's find this badass before he snags anymore girls." Dean says. They wipe the ectoplasm off of their hands and leave the apartment. They hear voices making them hide around the corner and Sam signals for Evie to be quiet.

"it's so convenient." A woman's voice, they recognize as Jo's, says.

"Yeah, it's a great building, fixed it up real nice. All the apartment come furnished, too." The landlord says.

"It is so spacious. You know, my friend told me I absolutely have to come check it out, and I have to admit, she was right. You did a really good job with this place." Jo says.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Dean asks Jo, stepping out, Sam following.

"There you are, honey." Jo wraps her arm around Dean's waist. "This is my boyfriend Dean and his buddy, Sam. That's Sam's daughter, Evie."

"Good to meet ya. Quite a gal you've got here." The landlord says.

"Oh yeah, she's a pistol." Dean says, smacking Jo's ass.

"So, did you already check out that apartment? The one for rent." Jo asks.

"Yeah. Yes. Loved it. Great flow." Dean says.

"How'd you get in?" The landlord asks.

"It was open." Dean lies.

"Now, Ed, um, when did the last tenant move out?" Jo asks.

"Oh, about a month ago. Cut and run, too. Stick me for the rent." The landlord says.
