Hunter exam continues

How long had I been fighting these things for?

I put all my power into this attack, if I couldn't kill that big guy then killing all the weaker mobs would be a waste of time. Putting all the power I had into my legs I leapt towards him quickly reaching top speed, If I couldn't kill this thing I couldn't call my self a hunter, gripping my knife and quickly inserting it into the beast while airborne. A loud cry was heard from the beast as its leg gave in. The look on its face was full of shock most likely having been expectant to tank such an attack. My heavy breathing now slowly calming, I was injured but I could still move.

It seriously worked all my attacks had been useless to this thing hard shell yet a hand knife worked? The creature fell to its knees breathing heavily I took this time to finish it off finally taking my knife out of its body.
The animals on instinct from seeing the death of their leader scrambled in all directions.
Now all I had to do was finish the hunter exam.
