“Tori?”

Napalingon ako kay Sylvia. She smiled worriedly at me. I was spacing out for I don’t know how long. I was standing in front of a school. Dito kasi gaganapin ang shoot ngayon. And I am part of the photographers team. Tatlo kaming photographer dito. This is a big project that’s why. Masasabi kong ito ang unang malaking proyekto ko pagkatapos kong umuwi from New Orleans. I was in Germany for work for 2 years and from there my work got me live in New Orlean for three years after. So it’s been exactly five years when I left this place and never come back again, ngayon na lang.

“Nauna na sila sa loob. They are setting up there. Are you okay?”aniya at nilapitan ako.

“Y-yeah. Sorry. I was just…”I paused.

“I understand. Ilang taon ka na bang hindi nakakauwi sainyo?”she asked me.

“Five…five years.”napalunok ako. Binalik ko ang tingin ko sa harap it’s the entrance of Caligtan National School.

It feels so weird to enter the school again.

“Halika na. Baka hinahanap ka na nila Amanda. Alam mo naman mawala ka lang saglit sa paningin nun ay agad ka ng hinahanap. He was like as if your father.”she joked.

Napailing naman ako sa sinabi niya lalo na sa huling binanggit.”Kapag narinig ka ni Amanda siguradong malalagot ka doon.”I grinned at her.

Napalabi naman siya at nilingon ang paligid kung nasa tabi-tabi ba si Amanda. She sighed in relief when she didn’t see him.”Phew. You should remind me to always filter my mouth. Mabuti na lang at wala siya. Pero hindi ba totoo naman? And isa pa you didn’t applied in Imperial Entertainment. You were recommended. And it’s obvious that he’s one of those people who recommended you.”

“Well…I didn’t know. He didn’t basically told me that.”kibit-balikat na sagot ko.

“Oo nga pero hindi ba iyong isang naging prof natin sa Koln ay gustong-gusto ka at kaibigan iyon ni Amanda so…there’s a posibili---"she was cut off when Amanda interrupted us.

“Tori! Come here, sweetie! You have to see the place.”nakangiting tawag saakin ni Amanda. His our senior. I am working in Imperial Entertainment and under his supervision. Sinabi niya nga na hindi na kailangan but I feel like I need it. 5 buwan palang ako sa trabaho ko sa Imperial Entertainment and I can say that his a good mentor. I learned a lot from him. He’s gay but he’s professional when it comes to our work lalo na at napapalibutan kami ng mga models.

“Ikaw din, Syl halika dito at tigilan mo ang kakadaldal diyan kay Tori. Let’s get this work started.”Amanda told.

“Copy that, Amanda.”Sylvia replied.

We are all getting ready for the shoot. Nakaset up na ang lugar at lahat ng kailangan. Ang mga models na lang ang hinihintay at nireretouch na lang sila pagkatapos maya-maya din ay lalabas na sila and we are about to start our job.

“Is Avresia coming here?”tanong ng isa sa organizer team, kausap si Amanda. Nilingon siya ni Amanda.”I really don’t know. Ang pagkakaalam ko ay nasa manila siya hindi ba? Kakakasal lang nila ni Ryx so…”

Kuryoso namang kumunot ang noo ko habang nakikinig sa usapan nila. Avresia and Ryx? Could it be…Si Avresia Hidalgo at Ryx Stallix ba ang pinag-uusapan nila?

Natigil lang ang pag-uusap nila ng dumating na ang mga model at nagsimula na ang shoot.

It was a tiring day. Isang place lang naman ang pinagshootan namin ngayong araw pero inabot kami ng gabi. Nang matapos magpack up ang lahat ay sabay-sabay na kaming umalis.
