The Test (Italy x Reader)

Shit! What am I going to do?! This wasn't supposed to happen. I had been feeling sick recently in the morning and just to be on the safe side, I took a pregnancy test. Which led to the problem I was having. The test said 'positive' on it. Me and Feli had never talked about having kids and I wasn't sure how he'd take it. I decided to do the best thing I could. I knew it would hurt me in doing this and the child but I didn't want to happen to the child what happened to me. I wrote a note to Feli explaining where I was when he returned home.

"Dear Feli,

Leaving this note is one of the hardest things I can do. Please do not get me wrong, I still love you but I didn't want to risk you leaving me when I told you this. Please do not worry about me, I will be fine.

Ti amo, (Y/n)."

I left the note on the kitchen table along with the positive pregnancy test and walked up to our shared bedroom, packing a small bag. I left the house and walked to my best friend's house, knowing that he'd let me stay with him.

"(Y/n)? What are you doing here?"

"I-I need your help, Arthur."

"What is it? What do you need?"

"I was wondering whether I'd be able to stay with you for a while? Something happened and I'd rather not face Feli right now."

"Yes, of course you can stay with me. What happened?" he asked leading me into his house.

"Well, I found something out this morning and I-I'm too scared to tell Feli in person."

"What?"

"I'm pregnant, Arthur. Feli's going to be a father."

"(Y/n), he'll be over the moon with that! Why did you decide to leave?"

"I-I was scared. I didn't want him to do the same thing that my father did to my mother when she told him that she was pregnant. He left her, claiming that I wasn't his. I-I just don't want that to happen," I started to tear up.

"(Y/n), I know you're worried but as I said before he'll be over the moon with that news. He's always going on in world meetings about how much a mini him running around his house would mean to him. Please (Y/n), tell him."

"I'll tell him in my own time. Just please? At least for the night? I can get a hotel tomorrow to stay in."

"Okay, I'll put your stuff in the guest room."

"Thank you, Arthur."

I had been sitting in the living room of Arthur's house when there was a knock on the door. Arthur stood up and opened it. I had a sneaking suspicion who it was though and my suspicion was proven correct, "Ciao! Have you-a seen la mia ragazza?"

I sighed and walked to the door, "Hi."

"(Y/n)! Bella! You-a shouldn't have done-a that to me! I was-a worried sick!"

"So you're not mad?"

"Why would I-a be, Bella?!"

"You mean you're completely fine with the fact that I'm pregnant?"

"Sí, Bella! I've always wanted a bambino and now I get one! Why did you-a leave?!"

"I-I was worried you'd leave me when I told you. I thought that if I left first it would save me the heartbreak."

"Bella, I'd never leave you-a! Ti amo, Bella!"

"I love you too, Feli," I then turned to Arthur, "Thank you for letting me stay here for the night, Arthur. I'll be going back to Feli's now." I then walked off to the guest room and gathered all my stuff I'd brought before walking back to the front door, "Ready to go home, Feli?"

"Sí!"

I said a final goodbye to Arthur and then we both walked out to Feli's car, "Ti amo, Bella."

"Ti amo anch'io, Feli."
