My College Soulmate [COMPLETE]

The beginning

"MELOG GET BACK HERE!"

The little cat ran across the living room while Catra chased after him. "Melog please! Your mom is coming home any minute and she's gonna kill me if she sees you all muddy." Catra said as Melog looked at her curious.

Catra and Adora graduated College five years ago and decided to buy a house together. Ever since then Adora got a job to write for the Newspaper, Etheria Times, she would sometimes travel from time to time.As for Catra, she started a mini shop were you can buy guitars or any other types of instruments. She even taught little kids how to play the instruments. Sooner or later, they got a cat.

However, Adora went on a trip to New York for her job and was coming back later this afternoon..Catra, on the other hand, was having a nervous breakdown in keeping the house clean. Catra wanted the love of her life to come back to a nice, calm, clean house. So she cleaned it...or at least she tried.

"MELOG COME BACK!" Catra yelled as the cat ran into the bathroom. Catra smirked, "AH HA! Can't stop me now."

"Ugh thank god." Catra said as she sat on the couch. Then there was a knock and Catra sat up and smiled. And then she stopped smiling, "Waittt a minute, Adora has keys. There's no way she would knock." Catra stood up to open the door. "HORDE SCUM! Miss me?" Glimmer stood at the door next to Bow with a smile. Catra playfully scoffed, "Hardly, anyways come in."

As soon as they made it to the kitchen, Catra grabbed them water bottles. "Wow Catra, never thought you were the clean type." Glimmer teased. Catra pouted, "If you're gonna keep being mean you might as well leave." "That's a shame, we had a surprise for you." Glimmer teased as Bow laughed. "Pfft, oh yea? And what would that be? " Catra playfully scoffed as she turned around to grab a cup.

"Wow, the house looks clean."

Catra knew who voice that belonged to and whipped her head and smiled. "ADORA YOU'RE BACK!" She smiled as she ran to her girlfriend. Adora giggled and put her bags down as she ran to Catra. Catra instantly cupped Adora's face and pulled her into a passionate kiss.

"She's only went to New York for a week Catra, not the war for five months." Glimmer teased.

"Awe Glimmer, don't act like you wouldn't do the same if I left." Bow teased as he leaned next to her. "Yea yeaa, don't say it so loud." Glimmer blushed as she pushed the boy away who was still smirking.

"Ahh, It feels so good to be home. I mean, New York is nice and all but it doesn't have you guys." Adora smiled as Catra ended up hugging her from behind. "Hmm, or so she says?" Catra teased as she winked. Glimmer leaned on the dinning table, "So Adora, how was New York?" Adora giggled as she kissed Catra's cheek and got out of her grasp, "It was fun and all, I enjoyed the scenery. But I wouldn't really go again, too crowded."

"We should totally go to Paris." Catra butted in. Adora snorted, "Paris?"

"Why not? It's the city of loveee." Catra teased. "Hmm, speaking of love, you two are going to Scorpia and Perfuma's wedding right?" Bow butted in. "Scorpia would kill you two if you didn't  go." He added.

"I wouldn't miss it for the world. Scorpia is practically my sister..and she would blow it at my face saying 'if it was your wedding I'd be there'." Catra mocked playfully.

The four of them laughed, "Well, we better be off. My mom wanted to talk about this weird thing called 'Legends of the She-ra', sounds familiar but I've never heard of it." Glimmer shrugged as she took Bow's hand. "See you two later." Bow waved as the two left.

"Ahh, so nice to be alone...for once." Adora playfully giggled as she wrapped her arms around Catra's neck. "Ah ha, I'd love to do what you're thinking..buttt I have to meet up with Scorpia later." Catra nervously laughed. Adora pouted, "What? But I just got backkk."

"I'm sorry babe, but I didn't think you were coming back today. Plus, she really needs me." Catra kissed Adora's cheek. "But hey, you still have Melog." She added with a smile. Adora sighed but smiled, "Okay okayyy, I'll be here when you get back." Catra smiled as she kissed her girlfriend's lips.

"I'll see you in a bit, love you!" Catra said as she grabbed her stuff and made her way out the door. "Love you too! Now, Melog..what ever shall we do?" Adora said turning her full attention to the cat. Melog sat up with a cat toy underneath their paw, "Meow?"

Adora giggled, "Okay okay, I'm in."
