Honestly, I don't know how long I was down it felt like an eternity. I laid in bed for days maybe even weeks: sleeping, drinking warm Hennessy, snacking, drinking more Hennessy, vomiting, drinking more Hennessy, peeing, and rewatching movies like Waiting to Exhale, Kill Bill, and Why Do Fools Fall In love. I laid there completely ignoring the sounds of sirens, helicopters, screaming, crying and fighting outside of my window. The world had to wait. I kept thinking about loyalty. My exact thoughts were: these hoes really aren't loyal.
The door to the apartment opened and closed a couple of times, but I didn't move. I didn't even budge when I heard Ava screamed and begged me to come out. I just turned up the volume of my T.V. Fuck her. Whatever happened to her, she deserved.
