My eyes fluttered open to the sound of Caroline yelling. "You can not get her involved!" Caroline yelled. "She is the only one who can properly protect you." Elena argued. "Good morning darling." Kol smirked, walking out of my joint bathroom that I share with Caroline, shirtless. "Morning." I sat up, glaring at him. "What'd I do now?" He threw his hands up innocently. "Can I have my necklace back?" I asked, groaning in exhaustion. "Not yet, just one second." He walked over to me, sitting in front of me. "Are you ready?" He asked, cupping my face in his hands and looking in my eyes. "If I wasn't you wouldn't do it?" I asked, knowing the answer. "Touche." He smirked, his eyes digging deep into mine. "Kiss me." He compelled. I sighed in frustration, using all my little bit of humanity to feel that one emotion. "Now, how about my necklace?" I held my hand out. "Just a while longer darling." He smirked, showing my necklace to me. My eyes revealed the urge to have the necklace back around my neck. "What's so important about this necklace anyway?" He asked, examining it carefully. "None of your business." I growled. For some reason, today I felt different, more powerful. I could hear more, feel more, smell more, as if all my so called 'superpowers' were heightened. My face cringed as I heard a million silent whispers at once. "Do you hear that?" I asked, covering my ears. "Hear what?" He asked, confusion spread across his face. "Those whispers." I explained. "What whispers, Miracle, you okay?" He asked, placing his hand on my shoulder. Then they stopped. "Yeah. I-I'm fine." I looked around, confused. "What the hell just happened?" He asked curious, more than worried. "I have no idea." I breathed.
