Dear diary,
Aaron finally dumped Rania. Yes! Rania Parks. The bane of my existence.
It took me so much to actually get him to see what sort of creature she is (you know, the nasty kind) and after three freaking months, he dumped her and now I can live my life happily without coming home to see Rania pressed against my brother after school.
Speaking of school, I better hit the hay so I can wake up early.
Love,
Bay(◠‿・)

**********

The sound of birds melodiously chirping and a  ray of sunlight gracing my face as I stretch was not how I woke up.

The "melodious" sound I heard was my obnoxious alarm clock dragging me out of my slumber. The birds were no where in sight alongside the sun because it was raining cats and dogs on a Monday morning.

And one glance at the alarm clock told me I was late for school...the first day of school!

Well aren't I blessed?

I got up in haste but only landed on my butt which is proof of how fit I am for a sixteen year old. Immediately I got to the bathroom, I examined myself in the mirror and cringed.

My mousy brown hair was in disarray, the white sweatshirt now turned off white that I was wearing had some sort of stain on it (not like I plan on finding out though)
and my jeans had a few  holes - not enough to make it fashionable but enough to make me look like a cheapskate.

I didn't have time to waste.

Everything I did from then was with reckless abandon. My hair was thrown into a sloppy ponytail with one of the rubbery wrist bands I had on and I brushed my teeth and rinsed off dried up  drool on my face.

To add to my luck, I missed the bus.

I trekked to school and arrived drenched from head to toe with pit stains on my sweatshirt. I was late and was scolded by my Chemistry teacher and like that wasn't humiliating enough, I tripped on my own feet as I was getting to my seat.

"Quiet down class", Mr Antwood said, trying to control the teenagers chortling at my expense.

All to no avail. At this point, I buried my face in my textbook and silently prayed for the day to end quickly.
