(Previously known as The Lost) Betrayal is nothing new to the Łabanowski siblings. Neither is abandonment. So when the eldest two disappear on the triplets' tenth birthday, it really shouldn't take them by surprise. Five years later: the remaining eight are all grown up and trying to move on with their lives when, suddenly, it is announced that the family will be reuniting. No one will be welcoming the brothers home with open arms, that's for sure, but when threats become reality and lives are at stake, they will be forced to put aside their differences once and for all.

'Blood runs thicker than water' they say. Those who you share the same blood as - you know your family - are meant to be more important than those who don't. But it's ironic really, the way the saying got messed up over time until it means the complete opposite. The full saying is 'The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb'. That the blood from the bonds you share with your chosen family are thicker than the water from the covalent womb you share with your blood relations. Going from a family of 8 to 1 was a challenge for Amelia, but what happens when her 5 brothers try showing back up? Give this story a chance yk, I rate it a 10/10 so lmk if I'm biased or if it's generally that good :)

The Quiet One Who Spoke is a generational story about the Black sheep of a family, the ones who grow up watching more than speaking, learning early that silence is safer than honesty. In each generation, there is someone who carries what others refuse to acknowledge: the tension, the contradictions, the unspoken harm passed down as tradition. These individuals learn how to keep the peace, how to read rooms, how to survive by being small and agreeable, even as dysfunction quietly shapes their sense of self. For years, the Black sheep say nothing. They hope that love will eventually arrive without conditions, that understanding will be mutual, that time will soften what honesty might break. But silence has a cost, and eventually it becomes heavier than the consequences of speaking. When they finally begin to name the harm-standing up to abuse, questioning loyalty that demands self-erasure, and asking for accountability-the family does not respond with reflection, but with resistance. Concern turns into correction, boundaries are labeled disrespect, and truth is recast as betrayal. Each attempt to maintain connection is met with quiet punishment. Invitations fade, conversations become guarded, and alliances form behind closed doors. The family protects its image while distancing itself from those who disrupt it. As the story unfolds, the characters are forced to navigate the grief of loving people who cannot love them honestly in return. They wrestle with guilt, self-doubt, and the longing to belong, while slowly realizing that authenticity within this family comes at a price few are willing to pay. This is not a story of rebellion, but of truth-telling, and of the loneliness that follows when a family chooses preservation of dysfunction over healing. At its heart, the novel asks what remains when the one who has held everything together finally chooses themselves-and whether walking away is sometimes the only way to survive.

Briefly hit first place in heavy topics. This is a story for when your friends start to feel more like family and the path of life starts to feel more like a roller coaster. What started as a Marvel (read: A Spider-Man) fanfiction became more of a drama. Emma and Tessa are two best friends who, after the Blip, are trying to piece their lives together. Featuring Ned Leeds, Aunt May, Michelle Jones, and our one and only Peter Parker, along with a whole cast of original characters! It mostly keeps with the Marvel timeline, with some deviances. Trigger Warning: Anxiety, cheating, depression, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts and attempts, teen pregnancy, and violence. We won't warn at the beginning of the chapter, unless there is a major trigger. Absolutely no smut or lemon. At all. Ever. There is romance, but we'll try to keep it clean.
