(Previously known as The Lost) Betrayal is nothing new to the Łabanowski siblings. Neither is abandonment. So when the eldest two disappear on the triplets' tenth birthday, it really shouldn't take them by surprise. But it's ironic really, the way the saying got messed up over time until it means the complete opposite. The full saying is 'The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb'. That the blood from the bonds you share with your chosen family are thicker than the water from the covalent womb you share with your blood relations. Going from a family of 8 to 1 was a challenge for Amelia, but what happens when her 5 brothers try showing back up?
