Percy said "soooooo piper has a crush on Jason huh?" And wiggled his eyebrows. I said "don't even mention this to piper or anyone ever but yes she does" I know I'm betraying my best friend but she has got to learn how to be nonchalant about her feelings.

Hs said "I don't know why she would have a crush on Jason when I'm here"

All I could do was roll my eyes and say "the world does not revolve around you!" But In my heart I knew he was right. Percy Is like most of the guys that piper dated before. But of course I'm not gonna tell him that his ego is big enough already.

He said "you do know that reyna is dating Jason right?" I said "I am aware" he continued "though I like piper and I'm sure she is a good girl and all but I can't betray reyna. If piper is going to ask Jason out she has got to tell reyna"

I said "it's just an innocent crush it's not like she's gonna ask him out or something and Jason sees her as a friend only and if she wants to go out with Jason I will ask her to talk to reyna"

I didn't know he was this royal to his friends

Percy changed the topic by saying "do you still want to become an architect?" When I didn't respond he continued "I didn't see any drafts in you room so.....you don't have to answer if you don't want to"

I said "it's fine. There's something that I didn't tell you earlier I'm overly competitive." He sarcastically said "wow! I would never have figured that out"

i said "shut up, anyway after my room was wrecked there was an architecture competition which I had signed up for earlier. my mom if you did not know was a world famous archarchitect when she was alive and had only recently died so I wanted to honor her memory by winning the competition"

I sighed and continued "when the bully had wrecked all my designs I had no idea what to do. I did submit a draft but it did not win anything and I was so devastated. I felt like I had let my dead mother down so, I took a vow that until I get revenge I would not draw a single thing"

He said "I had no idea. I'll help you find him"

I smiled at him and said "let's talk about something else"

He looked around and said "too bad we couldn't talk at the ice cream parlor. I could have tasted the best ice cream in san Francisco" I fake gasped and said "wait you haven't went sightseeing have you?"

He said "yep. I been very busy with school work and of course befriending you" I said "maybe I could show you around" he said "you would do that for me?" I said "of course you are my friend aren't you"

He said "wait....do you mean right now?" I shrugged and said "sure if your free" he said "not today though" I tried to be indifferent about it and shrugged and said "no one said it had to be today we could go some other time as well"

But It hurt so much for me on the inside. I knew that he was still angry with me and that he needs some more time but I thought we had a connection but I guess I imagined it.

I checked my watch and said "it's time. We should probably head back. I have an Idea when we get to the parlor we could have an ice cream and check that off the things that you have to do at san Francisco"

He said "sure" and we started walking towards the parlor. When we came near the ice cream parlor we saw Jason and piper talking animatedly with each other. He groaned and said "oh gods! They look so cute"

I looked at him pointedly "you say that like it's a bad thing"

He laughed and said "oh no it's not that. It's just that when we go there they are gonna just avoid us and totally flirt with each other and I have to pretend that I am invested in their conversation and laugh at all their silly jokes while I'd rather be playing games at home"

I laughed and said "that's actually true" he said "I know right." Then suddenly his facial expression changed to downright disgusted. He quickly hid behind me and said "hide me please!"

I said "from who? There is nobody here!" Then I spotted her. At that moment I finally figured out why people where neon clothes. It's so that they can be the center of attention that is atleast the case with drew Tanaka.

I saw her coming towards us a mile away.

When she saw me she said "what are you doing here and more importantly what are you doing with percy?" Drew is a cousin of piper and that girl gets on my nerves. I said "I would insult you but its pointless to make fun of you because it takes the rest of the day for you to figure it out"

Percy was there so she had to be on her best behavior. She avoided me and said "what are you guys doing?" I said "we are trying to use our inner powers to remain stable for long in order to increase our potential energy. We already lost some, in form of kinetic energy while explaining it to you. So stay away!"

She really didn't get it so I said "what do you think we are doing? We are baking cookies" and I picked up some sand and pointed to her "would you like some?" I would have shoved it in her mouth if it hadn't been for percy.

He said "you know what that's a great idea. why don't we bake them now? Let's go!" And dragged me to the car.
