I woke up feeling so excited. There is a slim chance that I might find seaweed brain. A very very slim one but still a chance and honestly a little bit of hope is all you need.

The whole morning was a breeze.

If you ask me now I probably won't be able to tell you what happened.

All I remember is that I got dressed and went to school and stood in front of the principals office glaring at any passbyers, hoping that a new male student joins the school who i will recognize by some off chance.

Piper wasn't even fazed by my actionsand continued our daily ritual like I hadn't gone crazy overnight.

My guess is that she has gotten used to my shit like I've gotten used to hers.

"someone's early" she observed.

I replied, "I'm always early"

She said, "I said someone not you" on any other day I would have argued with her but today was a special day and I did not want to start it with a banter.

After having known me for so many years she easily picked up on my mannerisms

"my! Someone is in a good mood"

"yeah sure, You're worse than nico in the mornings. Wait, its about that boy isn't it! what's his name again?"

I scoffed, "you know well and fine that its seaweed brain"

She smirked her devious smirk as though she had proven her point. I realized I had fallen into her trap. I gulped, I've made a huge mistake.

"annabeth is in love"

I rolled my eyes. "we've been through this he is not my crush and I don't even know that its him"

Before she could say anything else I said, "Jason is behind you"

"yeah right, I'm not falling for it again"

Jason tapped her shoulder and awkwardly asked, "hey! Its piper right?"

She froze on the spot. Instead of laughing in her face like I should have, I gently pinched her.

she quickly flattened her hair and turned to face him.

"yeah..... that's umm.... me do you um.. want anything?" and gave him a smile that will melt anybody's heart.

I mean it didn't melt mine well, that might be because I'm a cold hearted bitch, but it might have melted his butter heart.

Wow, that was awkward. I guess its nerves? I hope I'm not like this all the time. Now, that would be a curse as you will never get to know this super cool fox.

He showed an embarrassing piper a phone with a pink hello kitty phone case while pushing his blond hair back with his left hand.

She blushed. "thank you"

"Nice phone case by the way" and he complimented and left to join his friends who were waiting for him.

I nudged her and she said, "dang it! I should have asked his number"

I smirked and said "that would have been smooth but then again you're smooth as sandpaper so I had zero expectations. I'm surprised you talked to him in the first place"
