Chapter 17: Taking Care

Ashton's taking too long to take a shower..

I wonder what he is doing?

I feel really sleepy.. my eyes are starting to get droopy..

I stretched my arm and grabbed my phone.

That's when I realized..

What have I been doing?

I stared at the reflection from my phone's black mirror screen.

My neck had a hickey or a so called love bite from Ashton.

I already have a crushed foot, a large bruise on my knee and also another small bruise on my neck.

This dude just enjoys hurting me. Does he?

I'm going to also need to catch up to the past lessons I'm about to miss.

Great. More work for me..

Thanks a lot Ashton.

Not to mention he did abduct me and even injured me just for that reason.

Do I really have Stockholm Syndrome?

I have been acting like nothing wrong happened this whole time...

Is it because Ashton doesn't seem all that dangerous?

No. Just no.

Someone like him who can kill someone with just brute force is definitely dangerous.

But in all conclusion, Ashton makes me really confused. He is a very confusing person.

You don't know whether to hate him, pity him or even love him.

I have mixed emotions that make me so confused.

First, he makes me blush with his constant flirty interactions and that's what's making me confused.

Second, he makes me pity him with his possibly disturbing past that can make a good heart wrenching drama enough to squeeze someone's tears away.

And third, he makes me hate him through his violent tendencies towards others, including me. Which he simply does without a care in the world.

He did apologize and did his best to heal my injuries..

And also.. he said he'll pay for Cassius' medical fees.

Then again, I am also in the wrong. For helping Cassius and Mike harass Ashton into admitting the truth.

I didn't expect them to attempt to kill Ashton. I never knew they had a gun.

That was a mistake on my behalf.

And all Ashton did to Cassius and Mike was self defense.

Ashton wouldn't attack them in the first place for no reason at all.

He attacked them because they tried to kill him..

And Mike tried to keep me hostage too..

Possibly, if Ashton didn't interfere and strangle Cassius, I would've been the one hurt..

And it would end up in a bloodbath between the three if I died.

Cassius would also hate Mike for killing or hurting me.

Then it would be 2 against 1. Ashton might persuade Cassius into killing Mike.

Or Ashton might kill Mike, and then Cassius for dragging me into the whole mess.

The thought made me shiver. And also despise Mike by a little.

He did say he didn't mean or plan to hurt me..
