Without further ado, we decided to continue our date.

I sat on the cold concrete stairs leading to the entrance of the library.

"I'm going to close the library. Wait right there." Motioned Ashton who stood up right beside me.

He went inside the library, leaving the doors open.

I simply sat back on the concrete and started to play around with my phone.

After a while, the lights were turned off, and heavy footsteps were heard approaching me.

"Sorry for the wait.. let's go."
Ashton gave me a shy smile and held his hand out to me.

I gracefully took ahold of his hand and he helped me stood up.

I thought he was going to let go of my hand as soon as he helped me up but no.

He's still holding my hand.

His hand was warm and I could feel his palm on mine. As well as his long slender fingers.

Those fingers would be good...

At playing the piano and folding pages.

We continued to walk until we reached a parking lot with only one car.

It seemed vintage, yet it was still nice to look at.

The car was an old black ford mustang.

"Is this your car?" I asked him curiously.

"Y-Yeah.. it's old. I know. It was from my father." He shyly said, his hands fidgeting.

Is he embarrassed?

"It's fine. Not everyone has a car you know.." I told him.

He opened the car door for me and motioned for me to enter.

I sat back on the surprisingly comfy leather seat.

He opened the door to the driver's seat and sat beside me.

It was dark and the car's lights were off. He was rummaging his coat pocket for the car keys.

I took a good look at him while he did so. The only light available coming from the lamp post.

His hazel hair was nicely done and he was wearing a dark suit along with a tie to complement his outfit.

It was clear that he was really intent on impressing me.

Honestly there's no need to do that. You're cute already..

I thought.

A moment later he found the keys and caught me staring at him.

"Is there anything wrong?" He asked worriedly.

"N-Nothing." I stuttered in embarrassment.

I could feel my face burning.

"Heh." Ashton simply chuckled. He obviously knew I was checking him out.

He started the car and drove. The whole time I decided to avoid eye contact .

I was too flushed out from being caught..

But the silent atmosphere was killing me.
I had to make conversation.

"Where are we going?" I asked him.

At the same time the car had to turn, so we slowed down for a bit.

"It's where I like to chill and read sometimes.." he gave a small smile.

"Other than the library?" I joked out. He probably always reads at the library.
