"It's nothing," I smile. "I'm a bit nervous..."

...to the creature next door.

"Ohhh. Don't be!" she cheerfully says to me.

She furiously faces me, holding both of my arms.

We sit on the front row seats since these are the only vacant seats. They were all early. I shouldn't have looked around and explored, as Shane calls it, around the campus. She said we have to familiarize ourselves with the campus. But in the end, she keeps on looking for the cute guys. She said it will cheer me up.

Sigh.

"You!"

"What?" I look at her with confusion.

"You're hiding something."

"What are you saying?" my eyes widened.

"That blond guy!"

"Blond who?" I stutter.

Did I tell her?

She lets go of me and moves closer to me. She nudges my arms, "I never knew you already have a boyfriend. You've moved on already?"

What?

My eyebrows knit together.

"Boyfriend?"

"Yeah, so what's his name? Huh? Huh? I saw you in the newly opened Japanese restaurant!" she quickly says.

"Why didn't you call me?"

I should've escaped that situation instead!

"I don't want to ruin your intimate moment!" she exclaims. "So, who is he? Where did you meet him? He is the guy next door. I saw him at the party. How long were you two—"

"Oh, Shane. Stop."

"Why? Don't be shy."

"He's not my boyfriend!"

Everyone stops. All eyes are on us.

She looks around, "Hehe."

She looks back at me. "Okay, okay," she whispers and zips her mouth close.

I roll my eyes.

I notice the shoelace of my right shoe is untied. I bend over and reach for it.

"Good morning, young artists," says our professor.

"Good morning, Sir," Everyone greets.

I sit up straight to see our professor. I hear Shane gasps.

"Pleasant day to all of you. I am—"

Our gaze met.

Shock.

His eyes widen a little.

"... Jared Greyson," he continues.

"You can call me Mr. Greyson," he looks away.

"Isn't that your—"

"Shhh," I glare at Shane.

"So art, huh? I'm wondering why? Let's start at the back. Yes. You, Miss. Name, age, and why you took this course," he says, pointing at the back.

I look at Shane. She looks at me with a full grin. I frown at her.

"What?" I ask her.
