~Y/N POV~

(13 years old)

Here I was sneaking out the castle to the garden in the middle of the night.

Jungkook had slipped me a note at breakfast to meet him here at night. It's our spot and Jungkooks mother allows us to play here together when his father is out the castle somewhere.

Jungkook and I have been best friends since I was six and we've been secret friends ever since. He's a great guy and admittedly lately I've been having feelings for him like I'm crushing on him....hard.

I don't have anyone I could talk to about this other than the head maid, Minseo, she's an elderly woman and she's been looking after me since I came here. I don't want to get her in trouble so I keep this to myself. I don't even talk to the other maids here since when I go to spend time with Jungkook as far as they're all aware I'm in the castle somewhere doing my duties, just as they are.

I feel guilty sometimes but Jungkook tries to reassure me I shouldn't. He's a sweet guy.

So after everyone went off to their beds I share my room with Minseo and lucky for me because of her old age her hearing is not so good so I snuck out my room and out the servant quarters and silently made it outside without getting caught. It was a good thing the servant quarters is at the back of the castle on the ground floor so it only took me minutes to get outside to meet Jungkook at our tree.

It looked like I got here first because I couldn't see him around at all. So with a slight chill up my spine because it's cold I sat down and lean against the tree bringing my knees up to my chest.

"Pst!"

I look around in the dark but couldn't say anything. I stood up and walked around the tree but nothing.

"Pst!"

There it was again.

"Who's that? Jungkook?"

I was actually scared incase it wasn't and I was about to get in big trouble for being out here. This place is brutal when it comes to rules. I've been beaten a few times for not getting things done on time or doing something I wasn't aware that I'm not suppose to do. Let's just say I've lost track because I'm not that well educated as people would tell me. I only know what I know from Jungkook being kind enough to help me.

"Jungkook if that's you it's not funny."

I stomped my foot crossing my arms over my chest. A familiar giggle that I know all too well erupts from the branches above me.

"Oh my god! Even when you strop like a child it's cute! Up here dumbo!" Jungkook

Looking up I see Jungkook in the tree sitting on the branch grinning down at me with a wave.

"Jungkook Just how long were you up there for?"

He shrugs and throws down a blanket to the floor.

"I don't know. That's for you by the way. I knew you'd be cold so put that on." Jungkook

He points to it when I pick it up and shake it off from the leaves and parts of the white flower petals that had fallen onto it.

"Thank you."

I wrapped the blanket around my shoulders and Jungkook jumped down making it look so easy and winks at me cheekily as he wipes his hands on his sides.

A blush spread across my lips so I turned my back to him and walked around the tree.

"What? What was that y/n?" Jungkook

I heard him chuckle signalling to me he might of seen my blush.
