Finally Home

We finally arrive back in California and was welcomed with loving arms. Billie mom Maggie was there.
"Welcome Home everyone"
Maggie says pulling both me and Billie into the tightest hug I ever had in the world.
"Mom let us go I can't breathe"
Maggie let us both go and we were breathing hard its was already kinda hard to breathe with these mask on

Carlon dashes right past me and went upstairs
"Mom, dad I'm home"
I yell. Mom came running out the kitchen towards my direction before being shoved to the ground by dad and being picked up like a child
"My little girl is finally home"
He says happily bouncy me on his arm while still holding me up like a small child

mom yell finally standing up with a mad look on her face dad didn't even give her a glance he ignored her.

"Did you eat? Are you tired?'

Carlin POV
I'm lucky that I was able to avoid mom and did it use to be risky but now that Carmon back I can avoid the easily. I plop down on my bed ready to take a nap intool my phone let off an notification sound.

"Ding"
I look at my phone and see an text from a familiar phone number
"Are you up?"
I smile before replying
"Yes, What's up?"
The chat bubble pops up with 3 dots showing she still typing before a message popped up
"Wow I didn't think u would reply"
Why would she think that?
"Of course I would 😉"
Why did I put an wink emoji she gonna think I'm weird I start to freak out before the phone ding knocking me out of my senses.
