Unlucky

"Stop it Haze, I don't know that." I said then turned my back on her.

I'm fixing my luggage because we will leave later. I'll live in their house while I'm taking BS Education in Holy Angel University in Angeles City.

"Porket ba mapula na yang labi mo? Uso kasi 'to. Marami pa akong ituturo sayo." And she talked nonstop.

I know I can buy this there but I prefer on bringing this because no one will use it here.

We live here in Manila but Mom and Tito Richard talked about me on where should I take college. Tapos na kasing magaral sila Kuya and they're teachers in UP. And I'm taking BS Education because we are a family of teachers.

"Una na ako ha! Bilisan mo dyan, Heaven." Hazel said and then threw my brush on the bed.

First year college na ako pero 17 palang dahil nagjump test ako noong grade 7. I was homeschooled because my parents were busy to attend to school events. I don't know why are they like that even though they're both teachers.

Oh well, that's not on my concern now.

My mom and dad are the one who bought my things. I never went to a mall. Maybe I already went outside but I'm with my family at some party with their co-directors in our school. Yes, my family own multiple schools all over the country but I'm not studying to one of them.

My tito suggested and it's not a big deal to mom and dad.

"Are you ready, hija?" Tito Richard said and then took my luggage from my hand.

"Yes po, tito." I politely said and went to my mom to kiss her cheek and bid my goodbye.

My past teacher said that my parents love me that's why they're working hard, though I feel like they only let me live because they think of me as a responsibility.

But all of that is fine with me. I have nothing to say because that's what I think of them too. They can't blame me but they raised me to be like this. I don't hate them.

"Mauna na kami, Eva." Tito said to Mama and then hugged her before we left using his old sedan.

Thank you.
