38. Labor/ Delivery- Chan ❤️

I'm 38 weeks in my pregnancy now. Me and Chan are both anxious and nervous for the birth and arrival of our son Hyunsuk. He will be here very soon and we think we are just about ready for him and parenthood. It's going to be a big responsibility looking after and raising a baby but we decided to bring him into the world and we can't wait to meet him. Chan has been busy working up until Hyunsuk arrives. He is in the studio now working on some new routines and songs with the guys. They all can't wait for the arrival of our baby boy. Anyway I'm at home as I'm not studying with me being two weeks off my due date. Chan is in the dance studio. Sometimes he's been working late nights but that's alright with me. I'm not even doing anything at home just relaxing and having sometime to myself while I can. I miss Chan when he's away but he keeps calling and checking on me when he has breaks which is so sweet of him. Awwww he's the best and is going to be the best father to Hyunsuk. I am sat on the couch when my phone rings and it's my Channie of course. "Hey, cutie" I say. "Hey, baby" he said. "How are things?" I ask. "Good. What about you? How are you doing?" he asks. "Good. Pretty well. Just having some me time" I say. "Well you deserve that, honey" Chan said. "Yeah I know. Won't be long till our boy is here" I reply. "Ohhhh I know" I reply. Me and Chan talk for a few more minutes and it was great. Awww I love talking to him when he's at work. A couple of hours later I get up to the bathroom. When I go back into the lounge, I start to feel a bit funny. I feel a sharp tightening in my belly. I sit down on the couch and it comes again a few minutes later. Yep I think I'm having contractions. I call Chan when I have another contraction to tell him. "Chan, I'm having contractions" I say when he answers. "Really? But you're not due for another two weeks" he said. "I know but I am" I reply. "Have your waters broken yet?" he said. "Nope not yet but they will do soon" I reply. While I'm still talking to Chan, my waters break. He can't leave just yet but I call my friend and she takes me to the hospital. I best not drive when I'm in labor

My friend gets me to the hospital safely. Chan isn't here yet but he's on his way. I hope he's not too much longer as I need him here right now. With me, by my side. I'm crying for Chan right now. The midwives gave checked me over and I'm almost halfway dilated so I guess that's a good thing. My friend stayed with me till Chan arrives. The door of the room opens and Chan runs in a panic. "Have I missed anything, babe?" he pants. "No no you haven't. You're in time. Don't worry. I'm only halfway dilated" I reply. "Okay I'll leave you guys to it" my friend said. I smiled. Chan sits by me and kisses me. "I'm so glad I didn't miss a thing. I don't want to miss the birth of my first child" he said. "I know. He's waiting to meet his daddy" I smile. "Sorry I got delayed at the studio. I told everyone I had to go" Chan said. "Don't apologie" I reply. "Love you" he smiles. "Love you too" I smile. We waited a few hours until labor has progressed more. It was a long and tedious wait but it will be worth it in the end when our boy is here. We cannot wait to meet Hyunsuk. "Can I get you anything, sweetheart?" Chan asks sweetly. "No I'm fine. I don't need anything as I've got you" I smile. "And I got you too and soon we will be a three" he smiles. I've been in hospital for about 6 hours now and I'm getting closer to the final stages now. The midwives say it won't be long and hopefully they are right. "Getting closer" he said. "Yes you do know you just referenced one of your songs there" I say. "Haha yeah" I reply. A couple of hours later and it was time to push. Our son is almost here. Just a heartbeat away. Chan holds my hand as I push. He starts to feel a bit feint in the delivery room but don't worry he's okay. I push and push until baby Hyunsuk came into the world

When our son was born, they cleaned him up and checked him over and handed him to me. "This is our boy" Chan said. "Awe he's amazing. So cute" I say. "Yep such a cutie" he said. "He's the best thing ever" I say. "He certainly is" Chan said. Awwww little Hyunsuk is the most adorable baby in the world. We are going to be great parents to him. "You did so well, baby. I could imagine how hard it must be pushing a human being out of your body" he said. "Luckily you don't have to go through it. You're a man" I reply. We both look at each other and smiles. Chan holds Hyunsuk a bit later. He was worried about the way he was holding him but I told him he was doing okay and didn't need to worry. "Look at you two. My boys. Channie, you're doing great. Look Hyunsuk loves you so much already" I say. "I hope he does" Chan smiles. The following morning, Chan's parents come to visit us in the hospital. I knew they would come as soon as they could. They walk in with smiles on their faces. "Hello. We are ready to meet our grandson" his mom said. "Hi, Mom and dad. Here he is. Meet Lee Hyunsuk. Our son" Chan said. "Awwww he's gorgeous, guys. He's beautiful" she said. "He is. Looks a lot like Chan did when he was a baby" his dad said. "Does he? You haven't shown me any baby pictures of you" I say. "Maybe mom will" he said. Chan's parents didn't hesitate in holding Hyunsuk. They wanted to hold him for so long but they could only be here for an hour. We should be able to go home tonight. Baby Hyunsuk is here and he's adorable. Me and Chan are so blessed to have him in our lives

A/ N: awwww so cute (I know I say hat every time haha). Babies are just too cute. Also how cute are Chan and Y/ N. He'd make a cute father one day. I could imagine him being very nervous at first. I thought I'd finish off with Chan's parents coming to visit at the end

Last part tomorrow and it's Soonyoung of course. I could not forget him
