7. b. Telling His Family

Jun and I like to catch up with his family in China at least once a week. He missed them a lot but sometimes they drive to come over and visit. We obviously live in Korea because of his job. It's not an awful long way from China but he still really misses his family. We are going to FaceTime his family now to tell them our baby news and we can't wait to. "Are you ready, babe?" Jun said as he was getting his laptop set up. "Yes I am. Can't wait to tell them" I reply. He calls his parents on FaceTime. "Hey, mom. Hey, dad" Jun said.  "Hey, son" his dad said. "Hey" said Jun's little brother YangYang. "So how are you all?" Jun said. "We are doing great" his mom replies. "Us too" I smile. "Just thought we'd have our weekly catch up call" Jun said. "We are always available to see you two" his dad said. We talk for a bit longer before telling them about our baby news. "Dad, mom, YangYang. Me and Y/ N have something to tell you" Jun said. "Yes we do. Something very good" I reply. "I always like hearing good news" his mom said. "Well we are having a baby" I say. "Yes we are. There will be baby Wen on the way" Jun said. "We couldn't be happier" I say. "Oh my gosh. That's amazing. So happy for the both of you" his mom said. "Me too" his dad said. "That's awesome. Can't wait to be an uncle" YangYang said. "Well we knew you would be happy for you" Jun said. I smile. We talk to them for a few more minutes and they were so happy to hear our baby news and we were so happy we told them

His POV

My family is having a get together, family reunion thing at my aunt and uncles house today. My moms sister. Most of my family on my moms side is there hanging out and catching up. Me and Y/ N feel like it's a great time to announce her pregnancy while everyone is in the same room. Her family already know but we need to tell mine today. We will find a good time when we can. The house is full of all my relatives. Y/ N hasn't met most of my extended family but she is today. She's already got acquainted with a few of my female cousins. I tap her on the shoulder and kiss her on the neck. "Seungcheol, why didn't you introduce us to your wife sooner. She's amazing and so funny" one of my cousins said. "Well not my fault you couldn't come to the wedding and yes my wife is the most amazing woman in this world" I say. Y/ N smiled. Soon we attracted everyone's attention by tapping on a glass. "Sorry to interrupt the party. Me and Y/ N have a little announcement to share with y'all. My family" I say. She stands close next to me. "Should I go ahead or you, darling" I say. "You" she replies. "Me and Y/ N are excited to announce that we have a baby on the way. She told me on our one year wedding anniversary and we haven't come down from cloud nine since" I say. "We are so happy. My family all know but we just had to announce it today" Y/ N said. "We are so happy" I smile. "That's amazing news, Seungcheol and Y/ N" my mom said. "It is. Another baby in the family" my aunt said. My whole family was literally so happy for us that we announced our baby news today

His POV

Today me and Y/ N are going to tell my parents that we are engaged and having a baby. It will probably come as a shock to them. Yes they do know that we had a sexual relationship without being a couple. My parents are over from China visiting me for a week. Y/ N is coming over soon. My parents are already over at my place. They don't know Y/ N is coming. She arrives soon and I let her in. "Hey" I say. "Hey, Hao" she said. I embrace her and kiss her on the cheek. My parents are in the lounge. "Hi, Mr and Mrs Xu" she said. "Hello, Y/ N. What a nice surprise?" my mom said. "Minghao, you didn't tell us Y/ N was coming over" dad said. "Yeah well she just popped round to say hi" I reply. Y/ N sits down. "So how are you, Y/ N. We haven't seen you in a while" my mom asks. "I'm doing good" Y/ N replies. There was an awkward silence for a moment till my mom noticed the ring on Y/ N's finger. "Is that an engagement ring?" my mom said looking shocked. "Yes yes it is" she really. "You're engaged" dad said. "We're engaged" I interrupted before he could say anything else. "Really? Wait when did this happen. Why didn't you tell us?" my mom said. "Yeah I'm sorry but not only that me and Y/ N are having a baby too" I say. "You're having a baby and you're engaged. You didn't tell us, Minghao" my dad said. "We are sorry. We wanted to tell you in person but hey ho you're going to be grandparents. Aren't you happy?" I say. "Of course we are. It's just a bit of a shock" mom said. "Minghao and I really love each other. We are the love of each other's lives and we are really happy to be having a baby together" Y/ N said. "Yes we are" I smile. We told my parents our big news and they were shocked at first but happy in the end

Mingyu 🧡

Me and Mingyu are going to his parents house to see his family for the first time since we got married three months ago. Can't wait to see them and also tell them our baby news too. We are on our way now and we'll be there soon. "I hope my family will be happy when we tell them we are having a baby" Mingyu said. "I'm sure they will be" I reply. We pull up outside his parents house and get out of the car and knock on the door. Mingyu's sister Minseo answers with a smile on her face. "Hey, you two" she said. "Hey, sis" he said. We give her and hug and go into the kitchen where his parents are. "Hey, eomma and appa" Mingyu said. "Great to see both of you" his mom said. "Great to see both of you too" Mingyu said. We hug them. They get us drinks and snacks and we sit down. "It feels like so long since the wedding" his dad said. "I know. Quite a lot has happened since then" Mingyu said. "Yes should we tell them" I whisper. "Mom, dad, Minseo. Y/ N is pregnant. We are having a baby" Mingyu said. "Really? You're pregnant" mom said. "But you've only just got married" dad said. "I know. Y/ N is almost 8 weeks on in her pregnancy" he said. "Yes I am. We said we wanted kids fairly soon after we got married" I say. "It's great but I think you should've waited a bit longer. Maybe a few more months" my mom said. "Yeah I agree but I can't for you to have a baby" Minseo said. "But it's done now and we are having a baby. We couldn't be happier" Mingyu said. "Yes that's right" I smile. So we had a nice time with Mingyu's family today and we told them that we are having a baby. They were surprised at first but they are happy now and can't wait for our baby to be born

Chan ❤️

I told my parents about my pregnancy the other day with Chan and they kicked me out and told me they want nothing to do with me. I was so hurt and upset and I couldn't believe it but I was kinda expecting it as they have never been okay with my relationship with Chan. I love him. I've been staying with Chan and the boys and they have been very welcoming to me but they don't know why I'm not at home. Chan and I are going to see his parents today but they don't know why. We are going to tell them that we are having a baby. They've always liked me but we think they will be a bit shocked to find out I'm pregnant. We arrived at his parents house and knock on the door. They don't know we are coming. "Chan, Y/ N. What a nice surprise? Great to see you" his dad said. "Hi, dad" he said. "Hi, Mr Lee" I smile. "Chan and Y/ N are here" his dad said. "Why didn't you tell us you were coming?" his mom said. "We just thought we'd pay you a surprise visit" Chan said. They greet us and we sit down in the lounge. Chan's teenage brother comes down too. "The reason why we came today is that we've got something to tell you" Chan said. "Ohhhh really" his mom said. "Well you maybe shocked but Y/ N is pregnant" he said. There was a pause and the silence in the room. "What? Really? She's pregnant" his dad said. "Yes I am" I say. "Also Y/ N's parents kicked her out when they found out. She staying with me and the boys but they don't know yet" Chan said. "No gonna lie I am shocked but we will support both of you" his mom said. "Yeah maybe" his brother said. "We wanted to let you know. Y/ N is really upset and hurt at what her parents did to her so am I but I told her I'll always be here for her and the baby" he said. "I know you will be" I smile. "We hope you're happy to have your first grandchild on the way" Chan said. "Yes we are. Don't worry, Y/ N I'm sure your parents will come round soon" his mom said. "I don't think they will" I reply. So we told Chan's family about our news. Yes they were shocked but they will be here for us and support us through the pregnancy and after

His POV

My family is over today having Sunday dinner with us. My mom, dad and sister Minkyung love spending time with us all. They love seeing Kyungmi too. We can't wait to tell them that we are expecting another baby. We know they will be so happy for us. We have just had dinner as made me and Y/ N of course and they loved it. Kyungmi is playing with her toys in the lounge with Minkyung. She loves playing with her aunt and her grandparents too. She's kinda named after my sister too. We love watching Kyungmi play. We are going to tell them soon about our baby news. We watch Kyungmi play for a bit longer. "Mom, dad, Minkyung. Me, Y/ N and Kyungmi have something we'd like to tell you" I say. "Ohhhh do you" Minkyung said. "Yes. We've been trying for another baby recently and Y/ N is pregnant with our second baby" I say. "Yesssss yessss I was hoping you'd have another little one soon" Minkyung said. "Yay! I'm gonna be a grandma again. I cannot wait" my mom said. "I cannot wait too. This is amazing. Another baby in the family" my dad said. "We knew you all would be happy" I say. "We have our first scan soon and we can't wait" Y/ N says. "Yes. Will it be a boy or a girl this time?" I say. "A boy I think" Minkyung said. "Another little girl I think" mom said. "Maybe twins" dad said. All we talked about for the rest of the day was our baby news. My parents and sister were so happy for us. We have a second baby on the way and we all couldn't be happier
