9. b. First Scan

Jun and I are having our first scan today. We are at the hospital in the room getting the scan. I'm sat on the bed thing and the sonographer is looking at the baby on the screen. So are Jun and I. He is sat beside me and he's holding my hand as we look at our baby on the screen. "Look. It looks like he's waving at us" Jun said. "Yes or she. We don't know the gender yet" I say. "Definitely a he" he said. "I don't know. We will see next time" I reply. The sonographer carries on examining me for a bit longer. "So everything looks great with your baby I'm pleased to inform you. You can book your next scan on your way home if you wish" she said. "Yes we will. Thank you. Bye" I reply. "Bye" Jun said. We book my next scan for 7 weeks time on our way out. "I think our baby was waving at us" Jun laughs on our way out. "Yes he or she was" I reply. "Babe, we are definitely having a boy. Well I want a boy. I've always wanted a son. Little Jun" Jun replies. "I know you do. We will find out if we are definitely having a boy in another 7 weeks" I reply. "Yes we will and I can't wait" Jun smiles. Our first scan was great this morning and our baby was waving at us. Awww so cute

His POV

Me and Y/ N have her first scan this afternoon and we can't wait. We've been looking forward to it till we found out she was pregnant. Y/ N is 10 weeks on in her pregnancy now so it's just the right time for her first scan. We won't find out the gender of our baby till her second scan in several more week. We are waiting at the hospital to be be called in for the scan. We have been doing for almost half an hour. They are running a bit late on the clinic but it's okay. I get a little fidgety when it comes to waiting a while. Y/ N had to control me. "Seungcheol, I don't think it will be long now" she said. "You always say that, baby" I laugh. Soon we get called in and Y/ N takes a seat and I sit beside her. "So this is your first scan right?" the lady asks. "Yes it is and it's our baby too" Y/ N replies. "That's good. I will put some jelly stuff on your stomach so I can examine you and take a look at the baby" she said. Y/ N smiles and rolls up her top and the lady puts the stuff on and starts looking at the baby on the screen. We look too. "That's our son or daughter"
I say. "It is. Out little one. Baby Choi" I reply. "How long have you two been married for?" the lady asks. "Since last summer so just over a year" I reply. "I told him I was pregnant on our anniversary" Y/ N said. "Awwww that's nice" the lady replies. She carries on looking and everything was very well with our baby which was great. We got little printouts of the scan to take home and show everyone. Yep the first scan was so good today and me and Y/ N were so glad it finally. 8 more weeks till the next one

Minghao 🖤

Me and Minghao are heading to the hospital for my first pregnancy scan. We are excited about it but also a little nervous as I've been getting a lot of morning sickness so far in my pregnancy which has been horrible. I just hope everything is okay with our baby. We get in the car and drive to the hospital. "Babe, why do you look so tense? Relax" he said. "Minghao, you know why. I'm worried" I reply. "I know, baby but I'm sure everything will be okay" he said. We arrive at the hospital and check in and wait to be called in for the scan. I sit close to Minghao and rest my head on his shoulder and I smile. "Take that frown off your face and smile. I wanna see what smile, Y/ N. That's why I fell for you" he said. I smile a bit before we get called in. "Good morning" the lady said. "Good morning" I say. "Morning" Minghao said. I get up on the bed and roll up my top and she puts the jelly stuff on and starts looking. Minghao sits next to me and holds my hand and kisses it. The lady starts to look a bit worried as she was looking. "Is everything okay?" I ask. "I'm afraid there seems to be something wrong with the baby from what I can see" she said. "Like what? Is it bad?" Minghao asked. "I don't know. We won't be able to tell until we run some tests. There could be an abnormality but we need a doctor to diagnose it" she said. "Oh no. Minghao, I knew there was something wrong. I just had that feeling" I cry. "I'm sorry to inform you of bad news. I will take some tests and we will call you in during your next scan to give you the results" she said. The lady takes some tests. Blood and amniotic fluid. Me and Minghao leave the hospital feeling a little sad that there might be something wrong with our baby. We won't find out for weeks. We hope it's just a mistake on the scan

Mingyu 🧡

Me and Mingyu have just had our first baby scan today and it went really well. We got to see our baby for the first time and it was so special. We are on our way home now for some lunch and to relax. "That was pretty awesome today having our first scan" Mingyu said. "Yes it was. It was amazing" I reply. We arrive home and walk in and take our shoes off and sit on the couch. "I can't wait to meet our little one already" Mingyu said. "Yep me too. He or she is already amazing" I reply. "Yes he or she is" he replies. "Babe, what do you think about maybe keeping the gender a surprise till the birth. I would like to keep guessing if we are having a boy or a girl" I say. "Yeah I would like that too. I think it would be pretty cool" Mingyu said. "Yes it would. So what do you think? Boy or girl" I say. "I don't know yet but a son would be pretty awesome" Mingyu said. "Yes I've always wanted a daughter though" I reply. "If it's a girl. She would be just as beautiful as her mother" he smiles. "Awwwww, Gyu. You're the sweetest. If it's a boy. He will be just as handsome and tall as his daddy" I smile. "Awww, baby. I love you so much" Mingyu said pulling me in for a kiss. "I love you so much too" I smile. We had a great first scan today and I definitely think we should keep the gender of our baby a surprise till he or she is born in several months time

Chan ❤️

Chan and I are waiting at the hospital for my first scan this morning. We are looking forward to see our baby for the first time today. I've seen ultrasounds on TV and stuff but I don't really know what to expect in real life. We have been waiting in the waiting room for about half an hour or so. Chan has his hand on my knee and looks into my eyes. "Can't wait to see our little one for the first time" he said. "Yes me too. Well not long now" I smile. Soon I get called in for my scan and greeted by the doctor. "Hello, Miss Y/ L/ N. This is your first scan today. Right?" he asks. "Yes it is" I reply. "I guess this young man is your husband" he said. "He's my boyfriend. Father of the baby of course" I reply. I lay down on the bed and Chan sits next to me. The doctor puts the jelly stuff on and starts looking. Chan and I look at the screen too. "That's him or her" Chan said. "Yes it is. Our little one. So cute" I reply. "So cute indeed" Chan smiles. The doctor carries on looking at the baby. "The baby seems very healthy. Heartbeat is strong too" the doctor said. "Thank you, doctor. That's great to hear" I reply. Chan and I leave the hospital feeling happy that we had our first scan. Our baby is very healthy too and has a strong heartbeat. We go back to the Seventeen house and cuddle

Soonyoung 💛

It's my first baby scan today. We are on our way to the hospital now. Kyungmi is with us. She can't wait to see her little brother or sister for the first time. "Baby girl, you get to see your little sibling for the first time today" Soonyoung said. Kyungmi smiles and cheers. We arrive at the hospital a few minutes later and get out of the car and walk in. Kyungmi sits on Soonyoung's lap as we were waiting. "I remember my first scan with this little one. More than two years ago now" I say. "Yes I remember it so much, jagiya" he replies. There was a children's play area so Soonyoung played with Kyungmi for a bit. Awww I love seeing the both of them play together so much. We get called in and funnily enough it was the same lady Jisoo who did my scans with Kyungmi. "Hi, Y/ N. How are you doing? Great to see you're expecting again" she said. "Hi. Thank you. It's great to see you too" I reply. I lay down and roll up my top and Jisoo starts examining me. Kyungmi sits on Soonyoung's lap and they both watch. "Sickness has been worse during this pregnancy" I say. "Yeah it can be normal. Ohhhh wait. I can see twins. There's definitely two babies in there" Jisoo said. "Twins, Soonyoung" I say. "You kinda says it might be twins" he said. "Twins, Kyungmi. You're having two little siblings" I say. "I can't believe we are having twins, jagiya. We've been blessed twice" Soonyoung said. "We certainly have" I smile. Twins. We just found out we are having twins. Oh my gosh. How amazing is that? We have so many people to tell this amazing news

A/ N: sorry to make Minghao's sad after the happy ending. I just felt liked I wanted to do something a little different. All will be revealed about the baby in the finding out the gender part. Soonyoung and his wife are having twins. Next the boys find out
