Y/ N and I are doing our boys nursery today and we can't wait to get started with it. We have a black, gold and white theme. I know it may seem dark and depressing for a baby's nursery but we liked the colour scheme and we thought it would work and we can't wait to to get started. We start off by painting two of the walls black. "You don't think it will look too dark when it's done, Junhui" Y/ N says. "No maybe we will just go lighter on the first coat" I say. "Yeah. I think it will look good anyway" she replies. We do the first coat of black paint and then we do white on the other two walls. "Looks good" I say. Y/ N agreed. We already made up the crib earlier so we bring it in when the paint is dried. The crib is white and goes next to the main black wall. By the crib goes the dresser which we make between us. Y/ N dresses the crib while I put the dresser in place. I grab the panda stuffed toy we got for our son. Pandas are the national animal China and I want my boy to be proud of his heritage. "Panda looks cute there" I say. "He does" Y/ N smiles. We drape a cute elephant blanket over the crib to go with it. At the other side of the room the chair goes and the changing table. We put a couple of things on the wall too. A lion and two arrows. We put a blank gold picture frame that we are going to put the initial of our sons name once we've decided on it which will be soon. "There we go. Our son's nursery" I say. "Oh yeah. I think it looks really good, Jun" Y/ N smiles. "Definitely. He's gonna love it" I reply. Our son's nursery looks so good. The black, gold and white theme really works

Seungcheol and I can't wait to get to work on the nursery today. It's such an amazing and exciting thing getting your baby's nursery ready. Our son will be here in just a matter of weeks now and we are more than ready to be parents to our little man. We have a bit of a elephant and giraffe theme for the nursery. We decided that we don't need to decorate as the room is fine as it is. First thing was to stick some crib giraffe wall decals on the wall where the crib will go. Then we assemble the crib. Seungcheol and I unbox the parts and started putting it together. "Pretty easy don't you think" he said. "Yeah it is" I reply. Soon we complete the crib and put it into place by the wall. Seungcheol hangs a mobile above the crib. I like the idea of a mobile above the crib. "Looks good there" I say. "It does" he replies. Next we do the changing unit and lay the changing pad on. I've got a diaper organiser to make changing times easier. I will organise that another time. Seungcheol brings the chair in from another room in the house. It has a matching footstool and goes opposite the crib at the other side of the room. I grab a cute big elephant that I put by the crib. "Looks cute there" I say. Seungcheol puts a rug by the crib. We thought it would be a nice touch to the nursery. We were almost done. "It looks really good" he said. "It does indeed, Cheol" I reply. "I think it would be nice, when we've decided on our sons name to put it above the crib. It would be sweet" Seungcheol said. "Yep I agree. We'll do that when we've decided on a name" I smile. We had a great time doing our son's nursery today and we think it looks great
