25. a. Getting Ready For Baby

Vernon 💙

My due date is less than a month off and Vernon and I have been busy getting ready for baby Isaac's arrival. We can't wait to meet our little man and welcome him into the world. Not long now. Today me and Vernon are getting Isaac's clothes ready. We had a free day so we thought we'd do it today. We have a lot of clothes for him to sort out and organise. Things that we bought and things from our friends and family. Isaac is going to be a lucky boy. The clothes have been washed and we are sorting them out now. Newborn things go first. "I didn't know our boy had so many clothes" Vernon said. "I know. He's a lucky kid" I say. "Oh yeah and to have you as his mom too" he said. We carry on sorting out the newborn clothes and then move onto the 3-6 month clothes. We don't have as many of those but we still do have some. All of Isaac's clothes were now in the closet. Next we organise the clothes in drawers and also things bibs, booties etc that we got. It doesn't take us long to do that. In total it takes us about two hours to do it all. "I would say that we are about ready for our boy now" Vernon said. "Yes me too. Apart from getting the hospital bag ready which doesn't have to be done yet" I say. "Yes we can chill now" he said. It was fun getting baby Isaac's things ready. Now we just need him to arrive

Joshua 💜

Joshua and I have decided between us that we want a home birth. We like the idea of a home birth as giving birth is nice and relaxed in your own home. Our apartment has passed the home birth assessment. Baby Olivia will be born in our own home when the time comes. Me and Joshua are in Olivia's nursery sorting her things out today. We washed all her clothes and now we are ironing them and putting them away. Joshua is ironing and I'm hanging stuff up and putting them away in the closet. Newborn things go first of course. "This is fun" he said. "It is" I smile. "I can't wait to meet our little princess now" Joshua said. "Me too. Little Olivia will be here soon" I reply. We carry on ironing and sorting out Olivia's clothes and talking the same time. All the newborn clothes were done and then we moved onto the 3-6 month clothes. Olivia's closet was pretty full. Joshua was sweating being right next to the iron so he had to have a big drink of water. "All done" he said. "Good job" I said to him. "That was a marathon but it was worth it" he smiled. "Yes it was. We will be blessed soon" I smile. We've got a few things to do another day but we've got the main thing done. Our baby girls clothes ready. Not long till she'll be here

Jihoon ❤️

Over the last few days me and Jihoon have been busy getting ready for Seoyeon. I'm 37 weeks on in my pregnancy now she she'll be coming anytime and we cannot wait to meet our little princess. We are putting the finishing touches in her nursery today. Like a few more things on the walls and toys and stuff. All her clothes are arranged in the closet and in draws. We are very organised. Jihoon is fixing a big picture frame on the wall in the nursery. We are going to put a family photo of all us when Seoyeon is born. "Can you mange?" I ask. "Yes I can" he replies. He does that and then he puts a S on the wall for Seoyeon of course. "Looks good" I said. "Great. I'm glad I did it right" he replies. "Yes you do. My clever husband" I reply. "Haha that's me" he laughs. Jihoon and I continue to sort out a few more things in Seoyeon's nursery. I put a couple cute toys in the crib. "Cute" I say. "Yes so cute" he replies putting his arms around me. "I think the nursery looks even more perfect" Jihoon said. "It does. It's the perfect little place for our perfect little girl" I smile. He smiles and kisses me. I thin Jihoon and I are about ready for the arrival of our baby girl. 3 weeks time or before even

Seungkwan 💖

Seungkwan and I are having a day of sorting things out for baby Beomseok. In just a few weeks he'll be here in our arms. We cannot wait to meet him and welcome our first child into the world. It's such an amazing experience becoming parents fir the first time. We have all his clothes ready and organised in the closet and drawers. We are mostly ready for our little man. We are in the nursery now going through the hospital bag checklist and getting everything in the bag ready for the hospital as I'm having a hospital birth. It's the most option both for me and the baby. We have a cute outfit for Beomseok packed in the bag. I need something for myself when I go home so I put some sweatpants and a baggy t shirt as it's the most comfortable thing to wear when you've given birth. "What else do you need, babe?" Seungkwan asks. "Breast pads. Think I got home. Pjs, slippers which I got, I throw a few diapers in case we need them, ohhhh nursing bra, a soft blanket for Beomseok when he comes home, muslin clothes, pacifier. That's maybe it" I say. Seungkwan helps me get things out and packed in the bag. There's a lot to remember. It's a good job the bag I got is big enough for everything. "I think everything fits in" he said. "Yeah just about but i think remembered everything from the checklist" I reply. "Don't worry. You did, sweetheart. You're good at stuff like that" said Seungkwan putting his arms around me. "Yeah I suppose so" I reply. "He will be here so soon" Seungkwan smiles. We got everything in the hospital bag ready for when Beomseok arrives

Jeonghan 🧡

His POV

The babies could be here in the next couple of weeks. Y/ N is 35 weeks on in her pregnancy now. We cannot wait to meet our babies. Boys or girls. Doesn't matter to us. Things have been pretty active over the last week or so as we have been getting ready for the babies. Y/ N has been getting pretty stressed with things. She's pregnant with twins which is taking a lot out of her. She doesn't know weather she's going to be induced or have a c section. We'll have to wait to see what the doctor said. Most things are ready for the babies. I walk into the room and Y/ N is having a scan and check round the area. "Are you okay, jagiya?" I say. "Yeah just seeing if we've got everything ready" she said. "Will you just relax, baby?" I say putting my hands on her shoulders. "I'll try but I don't thing we are ready, Jeonghan" Y/ N replies. "We are. We are as ready as we can be" I reply. "Yeah maybe but I'm just panicking. I can't wait to meet the babies but there's a lot to do" she said. "I can't wait to meet the little munchkins" i said. I put my arms around her and cuddle her for a while. "I don't want you to stress. It's not good for you and the babies" I say. Y/ N gives me a little smile. She calms down and relaxes with me. The babies will be here in just a matter of time and we are ready

Wonwoo 🤎

I could be induced in the next couple of weeks before I'm 38 weeks on. I'm going for weekly checkups and everything's going good so far but obviously they don't want to the babies to get too big and for there to be a problem. Me and Wonwoo are very excited to welcome our boys Jinseo and Jaewook into the world. We are in the process of getting things ready for them now but it's a lot to do as we are getting ready for two babies. Their cribs abs everything are set up in the nursery and we've been getting their clothes and things ready. I have picked two cute outfits to bring the twins home from the hospital in. "Wonwoo what do you think? Cute enough?" I ask him. "Yes. Cute. Couldn't be cuter" Wonwoo replies. "Thanks. I wanted to put them in matching outfits when we bring them home from the hospital" I reply. "Yes I know you did" he replies. The outfits go in the bag along with other things. I also have their fluffy snowsuits so they are warm. It's winter and it's ideal. "Wonwoo, I think the hospital bag is packed" I say. "Good. Is there anything else to do?" Wonwoo asks. "I don't know. I can't even think at the moment. I'm tired" I reply. "It's okay, honey. We can just relax now. It's not like the babies are going to come now" he said. "Well we wouldn't hope not" I reply. "Put your feet up and I'll make you a cup of tea and I'll cuddle you" Wonwoo said. "Thank you, Wonwoo. You're the best. I love you" I reply. "I love you too" he smiles. So I put my meet up on the couch and Wonwoo makes me a cup of tea and sits next to me and cuddles me. I was starting to worrying a bit but we can sort out other things another time if needed

Seokmin 💚

Me and Seokmin have been getting ready for our baby girl Mihee. I'm 34 weeks now so she could be here soon. In the next few weeks she will and we can't wait to. We've been waiting to meet her for the last 9 months and it's been a long time coming. My pregnancy has been okay to say I've had health issues in the past. I've always wanted to be a mom and I'll be one soon. I am undecided on what outfit we should bring to the hospital for when Mihee comes home. I'm going to ask Seokmin to help me decide. "Seokminie, can you come here please?" I say. "Of course, baby. What's wrong?" he replies. "I can't decide which outfit Mihee should wear to come home" I say. "Both are adorable. Which one do you like the best?" Seokmin asks. "I don't know I like both but I think I'm leaning towards the purple one" I say. "Yeah I agree. Both are pretty though. She'll look adorable in anything" he said. "Okay I think we will go for the purple one since we both like it the best" I say. "Sure. Like I said she'll look adorable in anything. I can't believe our princess will be here soon" Seokmin smiles. "I know. Our Mihee will be here soon" I smile. "You're going to be the most fantastic mother to our little girl" he smiles. "I hope so" I say. "Oh you will" he whispers. I would say we are about ready for baby Mihee's arrival in the next few weeks
