13. b. Babysitting For A Friend/ Relative

I picked my 7 year old nephew Colin up from school today. My sister was late running at work and couldn't pick him up so I offered. Jun will be coming home soon. He can't wait to see me and Colin. He's close with him and considers him as his own son sometimes. I am watching TV with Colin. He's watching Power Rangers. It's his favourite programme to watch so I'm watching it with him. "Aunt, Y/ N. Is Jun almost home?" Colin works. "Yes he's nearly home, Col" I reply. Jun arrives back about half an hour later. "Hey, I'm home" he said. "Hey, Junnie" I said. "Jun" Colin said. "Colin, my man. Great to see you" he said. He high fives him. "Missed you" Jun said to me. "Missed you too" I smile. Jun gets changed and join us. "Are you having fun, buddy?" he says to Colin. "Yes I am" he replies. "Great. Maybe me and you could play a game later" Jun said. "Sure" Colin replies. After TV, Jun plays a game with Colin. It's a boys kinda game Colin brought. I let them play together as they like to. It's so cute to see them playing together. If our baby is a boy, Jun will be just the same. Anyway Colin stayed with us till my sister came to pick him up. We had fun with him tonight

Seungcheol 💙

Seungcheol and I are looking after some kids tonight. We are babysitting our neighbours kids: Chungho and Hyunae. They are 6 and 3 and the sweetest kids. They always wave to us when we are coming and going if they are playing outside. It's parents evening at school and their parents wanted someone to babysit while they were out so me and Seungcheol volunteered. We are making the kids something to eat now. "Are you hungry, kids?" Seungcheol asks. "Yes starving" Chungho exclaims. "Won't be long. I promise" I say. We cook for them and we eat together. "Is it good" Seungcheol asks. Hyunae nods her head. "Thanks" Changho said with his mouth full. "Glad you like it" I smile. The kids eat up and their presents allowed them to have chocolate at the end as a treat but not until they ate their vegetables. They are good and ate them all. "Can we play outside now?" Changho said. "Sure" I reply. "Only for about an hour as it will be your bedtime" I reply. The kids get their shoes off and they run outside and play on the swing set and the side in their backyard. Seungcheol and I watch them and they wanted us to join in with them. "Push me" Hyunae said to Seungcheol. "I will" he said lifting her onto the swing. He pushes her on the swing while i play with Changho. They played till they were tired and out of steam. Then we got them ready for bed and waited till their parents got home then we went home ourselves. Seungcheol and I had a lot of fun with our neighbours kids tonight. We said we will do it again whenever they need us

Minghao 🖤

Today me and Minghao are looking after a disabled little boy called Daewon. He is 6 years old and has cerebral palsy which a movement and coordination disability. We want to get used to caring for disabled children if our own child has a similar disability. We don't know yet but we find out next week the results of the tests and what's wrong. We might find out the gender too. My mom knows Daewon's Mom and asked if we could babysit for a few hours. He's in a wheelchair and can't walk or talk. Poor little boy. It's so sad. I am feeding him now. He can only eat soft foods most of the time and he's having mushed banana now. "There we go" I say wiping his mouth. "How are you managing, babe?" Minghao asks. "Good" I reply. When Daewon was fed I clean him up. "You're all fed now" I say. "He is" Minghao said. Daewon sits in his wheelchair and let his meal go down before we transfer him into his special sitting chair. "Babe, how are you finding caring for a disabled child?" Minghao said. "Yeah it's okay. I think it would be more of a challenge with our own child" I reply. "Yeah but we'll get through it, my love" he said. "I love you, Minghao and we will" I reply. "I love you too, sweetheart" he smiles. We carry on taking care of Daewon till his mom came home. She thanked us and said we did a good job. It was good taking care of a disabled child and getting some experience before our own arrived. We hope the results end up being good when we go to the hospital next week

Mingyu 🧡

My three little cousins are over at our place today and we are baby sitting them. They are all little girls and called Daeun, Haewon and Hyerin. They are 10, 7 and 3 and we love them all. We love babysitting them and it gives us some experience for when our own baby comes along in the next few months. I know they're not babies but it's still fun as they are my cousins. They are over at our place and we are looking after them while my aunt and uncle are out birthday shopping for Hyerin who's birthday is coming up soon. We are sat on the couch with the girls watching the kids channel on TV. "Y/ N, when will Mommy and daddy be home" Daeun asked. "Soon" I reply. "Yeah what are they doing" Hyerin asks. "Something top secret" I say squeezing her nose. Mingyu and I carry on watching TV with the girls for a while longer. "Mingyu, can you play with us" Haewon said. "Okay sure, girls. What would you like me to play with you?" Mingyu asks. "Ummm fairies" Hyerin said. "Right then, girls. Since it's just the three of you" he said. The girls bring their fairy things in and dress Mingyu up. "Fairy wings" Daeun said. "Yeah haha you look funny" Hyerin said. "Do I make a pretty fairy?" Mingyu asks. "You will when we put some makeup on you" Haewon said. "Ohhhh no way, girls. You're not putting makeup on me" he says. "Why?" Daeun asks. "Well I looks good anyway but I love you girls" Mingyu said bringing them in for a hug. Awe so cute. I join in for the hug too. We had so much fun babysitting my little cousins today. We will do it lots more times

Chan ❤️

Me and Chan are babysitting for his baby cousins, 1 year old Jaehwa. He loves his little cousin so much. They are really close. Chan is so cute with her. I love them together. He said he's even more excited for our own baby now and he's doesn't mind if it's a boy or a girl. We find out the gender next week. We are babysitting Jaehwa at her place while his aunt and uncle are out. We wanted to look after her for the day. Jaehwa is sitting on Chan's lap and he's reading a story to her. A cute book about sheep. I am watching and observing from next to them. "Are you enjoying your story, sweetie?" I say. Jaehwa nods her head and looks at me. Chan carries on reading to her and he reads her another story after. "There we go, my love. Did you enjoy story time with uncle Chan?" he said. "Yeah" Jaehwa exclaims. "What should we do now?" he says. Jaehwa smiles at him and kisses him. "Awwww she loves you so much, Chan" I say. "She does. Don't you, baby girl" he replies. Jaehwa smoked at him again. "Soon you will have a little cousin to play with" Chan said. I watch Chan and Jaehwa being cute for a while. It lights me up. Jaehwa gets tired and goes for a nap at her usual time. "Eeekkkk I'm so excited to be a dad now. I just want to be a dad now" he said. "I know you do. I just want to be a mom too. You'll be a great father, Channie. I know how good you are with Jaehwa" I say. "I love her like my own" he smiles. "We'll be finding out the gender of this little one very soon" I say. "Oh yes we will" Chan said placing his hand on my bump. We had so much fun babysitting little Jaehwa today. Chan loves her and is good with her

Soonyoung 💛

We are in the park with Kyungmi and her best friend Hyuntae. They love hanging out and they are inseparable. They are having a little play date in the park and me and Soonyoung are watching them of course. They love running around and holding hands. Awww they're adorable. Soonyoung and I are sitting on the bench watching the kids run around. I can't join in as I'm having twins. Soonyoung has been joining in with them. "Look at them, jagiya. They are so cute" he said. "They are indeed. I'm so glad Kyungmi has a best friend like Hyuntae" I say. "I know. He's so cute just like our girl" he said. I smile. "They are going to get married one day" Soonyoung said. "You're not trying to marry our daughter off" I say. "No I'm not. She's only 2" he replies. "Yeah it would be cute if they found love and got married one day" I reply. "I'll be a nervous wreck when my baby girl gets married" Soonyoung said. "Oh you will. Trust me" I laugh. We continue to watch Kyungmi and Hyuntae play for a bit longer then we treat them to an ice cream. I didn't want one as it's not the best thing to have during pregnancy. "Is that ice cream good, kids?" Soonyoung asks. They nod their heads. "Half it's ended up on their faces" I say. Awwww bless them. After Kyungmi and Hyuntae play for a while before we go home and take Hyuntae home. We had a great afternoon in the park
