21. a. He Buys Something For The Baby

His POV

I went out and did some shopping with the boys the other day and I bought something for our little boy. I haven't showed Y/ N yet as she's been busy but I can't to hopefully show her tonight when she's home from work. I've bought a cute little dungaree outfit for our son. Y/ N has already bought a couple but I wanted to surprise her with one from me. I know she'll love it. I'm waiting for her to get home now and I have the outfit wrapped in tissue paper in a box to give to Y/ N when she's back. She texts me and says she'll be home soon. Can't wait to see her and show her the gift. Soon the front door of our apartment opens and Y/ N walks in. "Hey, I'm home" she said. "Hey, beautiful. I've been waiting for you" I say. "I know you have" she smiles. I kiss her and ask her how her day was and she said it was okay. I grab the box and hand it to her. "Ohhhhh what's this here?" she asks. "Maybe something for our boy" I say. She opens it and sees the cute outfit inside. "Awe, Vernon. This is so cute. You shouldn't have" she said. "I should've. I know you love baby dungaree outfits so I bought one for our boy" I say. "I love it just like the others we got him" Y/ N smiles. She wraps her arms around me and kisses me. I'm so happy Y/ N loved the outfit I git for our son. I love it just like I love the both of them

Joshua and I leave for Seoul tomorrow afternoon so it's our last night in LA for a while. We are think of coming back when our daughter is a couple of months old so we can see Joshua's family. Everything is packed up in suit cases ready to go tomorrow. We have a separate case for all the baby things we bought while we were here. We are enjoying a relaxing low key evening together. "I'm gonna miss beautiful LA for the next few months" Joshua said. "I know, Shua. Me too. But we can bring our little girl here soon" I reply. "Yes we can. Ohhhh I almost forgot something" he said. He jumps off the couch and goes into our bedroom and comes back with something in a bag. He smiles and hands it to me. I open it without saying a word. There was the prettiest baby dress I've ever seen. "Oh my gosh, Joshua. It's absolutely beautiful. I love it" I say with a little tear in my eye. "I didn't want it to get mixed up with things before we left. It's beautiful and I just had to get it for our little princess" he said. "It's one of the best things we've got her so far" I said. Joshua smiles at me and pulls me in for a kiss and a hug. OMG that little dress for our little girl is so beautiful. She's going to look adorable in it when she's here. We are looking forward to getting back to Seoul tomorrow
