23. b. Picking A Name

Jun and I think we have decided on a name for our son. We talked about Korean names, Chinese names and western names. In the end we went for a western name. We are going to hand him Timmy. We thought it was a cute band for our boy. Not Timothy. Just Timmy. His middle name Chang. Timmy Chang Wen will be his name. We think we have picked just the right name for our little prince. We said when we decided on a name that we would put his initial on the wall above his bed. We got a letter T today and we are going to hang it on the wall above his crib. Jun and I are in Timmy's nursery now. "I'm going to hang it on the wall" he said. I stand back as he nails the T on the wall. "There we go. Our boys name. I think Timmy is perfect for him" Jun said. "I do too. Fantastic name for our son" I say. "I like how we thought of something a bit different" he said. "Yes me too. Timmy is going to suit him very much" I smile. Jun bends down to my bump and rests his head. "Mommy and daddy. Can't wait to meet you, Timmy boy" he said. I beam. We can't wait to meet our special little boy Timmy

Seungcheol 💙

Seungcheol and I are still in the process of picking out a name for our son who will be here soon. We can't wait for his arrival. We like the names Changmin, Jaesang, Chanwoo or Sangwook. All the names are nice. We just need to choose one for our boy. We don't know which one yet but we've still got time as we are not parents yet. It's Sunday nothing and me and Seungcheol are just waking up for the day. I look at my clock and it's 8:30am. The usual time we wake up. "Hey, jagiya" Seungcheol yawns. "Morning, handsome" I yawn. "My beautiful wife" he smiles. I smile. Seungcheol and I cuddle for a while. "I think the name of our son should either be Chanwoo or Changmin. I like both" he said. "Yeah maybe" I reply. "Don't you like those names, hun" he replies. "I do, Cheol. Don't worry. I do" I say. "So which one do you think for our boy?" he said. "I need some more time" I say. "Okay" I reply. Seungcheol and I get up and have some breakfast. "I think Chanwoo would be a nice band for him" I reply. "Yes I agree. Choi Chanwoo sounds fantastic" he smiles. "Alright Choi Chanwoo then" I say. "Brilliant. Our son finally has a name" he smiles. "He does. Baby Chanwoo" I reply. Chanwoo is going to be his name we've decided. Choi Chanwoo

Minghao 🖤

Minghao and I don't know if we thought decide on a name for our baby girl now or when she's here. Maybe we need a bit more time to think of the right and perfect name for her. We think we want to go for a Chinese name to reflect Minghao's Chinese heritage. We have been looking at a few but we don't know what to choose yet for our little girl. Minghao and I are chilling on the couch having sometime together in the evening like we usually do. "Babe" he said. "Yes" I smile. "We says we don't want to decide on a baby name yet and you know that's okay as we want to choose the right name that we both love for our little princess. She'll have the name for the rest of her life" Minghao said. "Yes that's what we said. Isn't it?" I reply. "It is" he said. "We definitely want her to have the right name" I say. "Yep. I suppose it wouldn't hurt looking at a few to get ideas" he said. I smile. "Lanying, Jinghua, Mingmei, Dongmei could be possibilities for names for our little princess" Minghao said. "Yes they could. Mingmei sounds a lot like Minghao" I say. "Yeah that's what I mean" he laughs. We have seen a few baby names we could use for our daughter. We will choose one when she's here safe and sound

Since we don't know the gender of our baby yet, Mingyu and I are going to pick a few names out for boys and girls we like. We will choose our favourite boy name and girl name and obviously whatever the gender of our baby is when he or she is born we will use it. That's the way we will do it. We really love surprises and keeping the gender of our first child a surprise is really amazing. We are looking through names on a website now. "For girls I like Harin, Jiyoo and Haewon. For boys I like Doyoon, Seojoon and Daeho" I say. "For girls I like Heeyoung, Jaehwa and Miyoung. For boys I like Minhyuk. Only Minhyuk. My favourite name out of all" Mingyu said. "Yeah I like Haewon for a girl and Seojoon for a boy but I know you really like Minhyuk so we can call the baby that if he's a boy" I say. "Really? Are you sure, jagiya?" Mingyu said. "Yes and Haewon if it's a girl" I say. "Perfect" he smiles. "Boy or girl doesn't matter. We have two perfect names picked out for our baby" I say. "Ohhhh yes we do. If it's a boy, Minhyuk is very much like my name" Mingyu said. "Yep it is" I reply. So we've picked out a boy and a girl name for our baby. If it's a girl she will be called Haewon and if it's a boy he will be called Minhyuk. Can't wait to find out when the time comes

Me and Chan don't know what names we can use for our baby boy. I'm just over a month from my due date so we'll probably need to decide on a name soon. We like Dongsun, Inseong and Hyunsuk so far. Chan said he's kinda leaning towards Hyunsuk but I said I don't know. It's pretty hard to decide on a name for your baby. Some of the guys have come over to our place today to see our new apartment. They couldn't wait. Seungkwan, Jihoon, Mingyu and Jun are over today. It's nice to have them over. Chan wants to ask them what we should choose as our sons name. "I can't believe your baby will be here in a few weeks" Mingyu said. "We can't either. Can't believe we are going to be parents soon" I say. "I can't wait to meet our boy. Speaking of our boy me and Y/ N are stuck for names" Chan said. "Maybe we can help" Seungkwan said. "Sure. We like Dongsun, Inseong and Hyunsuk. Personally I'm kinda leaning towards Hyunsuk" he said. "Cool names. I think I like Inseong the best" Jihoon said. "I like Hyunsuk too" Jun said. "Yep" Mingyu replies. "Dongsun for me but they're all good names" Seungkwan said. "I don't know I like them all" I say. "Two of you said Hyunsuk so you're agreeing with me" Chan said. "Yeah" Jun said. "What do you think, sweetie?" he asks me. "Yes I do like Hyunsuk" I reply. "Can that be his name? The guys helped us" Chan said. "Of course that can be his name" I smile. So the boys helped us decide on a name for our son. He is going to be called Hyunsuk and we think it's a great name for him

His POV

Me and Y/ N compiled the list of girl bands we liked when we were expecting Kyungmi. We knew she was doing to be a girl. We are having two more girls so we are going to pick two more names from the list. We liked Kyungmi the best at the time. It really suits our little princess. Me and Y/ N are looking at our baby name list before we go to sleep. Y/ N kept the list in her bedside drawer. It's been there since Kyungmi was born. "So do you still like any of those names?" I ask. "Yes I still do of course" she replies. "So we have Haeun, Minjee, Soyoung, Youngmi but maybe that's a bit too similar to Kyungmi, Hyunae and Eunmi" I say. "Yes I like all the names. Soonyoung, we have to choose just two for our girls" Y/ N replies. "I know. Just reading out the names we previously chose" I say. We talk about he names for a bit. "I think Haeun and Eunmi would sound cute" I say. "Yeah but I also like Soyoung as it's like Soonyoung and Youngmi as it's like Kyungmi" Y/ N said. "Yeah I know, jagiya. I like all the names" I smile. In the end we decided to go with my choices, Haeun and Eunmi. "We found the perfect names for our girls" I say. "Yes we have. I just can't wait till they are here now. I just want them out of me" Y/ N said. "I know, jagiya. Well it won't be long now" I say. We can't wait till Haeun and Eunmi arrive
