"What did you say?"

Mula sa pagkakangiti kanina ay biglang siyang sumimangot, "Akala ko manhid ka lang, bingi ka rin pala." He even rolled his eyes at me.

Dinedma niya na ko at sinimulang ayusin ang pagkakalagay ng libro niya sa bookstand.

"Kunwari hindi pa narinig," bulong niya habang nagbabasa pero alam kong pinaparinggan niya ako. "Ang hirap kaya umamin sa kanya."

"Uhm, I heard it clearly," pag-amin ko. Hindi ko lang ma-absorb yung sinabi niya. It's different when it directly comes from him. "But I told you my situation with Ashton."

"Oh, tapos?" masungit niyang sabi. "Am I not allowed to like you? Siya nga may girlfriend."

"But-" he cut me off.

"Sariah, just let me like you okay? Hindi naman kita pipilitin na magkagusto sa akin," he licked his lower lip, "Well, hindi pilit kung kusa kang magkakagusto sa akin"

Hinampas ko siya sa sinabi niya. He really can't take talks seriously!

"But really, just give me a chance," his voice lowered. "Pinag-isipan ko na 'to. Just let me show you how much I like you. Wala naman masyadong magbabago. 'Wag mo ko iwasan ha!"

"Are you commanding me?" mataray kong tanong sa kanya. He pouted and shook his head. "Hindi naman ako iiwas. You're my friend. I don't want to lose you too."

I trust him. He knows so much about me. He knows how to handle me. For a short amount of time, we already shared a lot of memories. Ayaw kong mawala yung meron kami.

"Anong friend? Ayaw na pala kitang friend, " kontra niya. "Si Yvette lang friend mo, hindi ako. Hindi tayo friends!"

Natatawa akong nailing sa kanya. He's acting like a kid again.

I continued eating but Theo kept on glancing at me through his bookstand while he's studying. Kahit dati naman ganon siya pero ngayon alam ko na kung bakit. Thinking of it now, I have to agree that I'm numb.

Nahagip ng mata ko si Matt na mukhang kinukuhanan kami ng picture.

These guys, really.

I think I should leave now. My purpose for going here is already done naman.

I begun fixing my things when he held my hand. "Why?" naguguluhan niyang tanong.

"You need to study. Go back to them," I bit my lower lip, remembering what he said earlier. "You told me I'm distracting you."

He chuckled, "I said, the kiss is distracting me, not you. Unless, you want me to kiss you again." he wiggled his eyebrows with his remark.

I was so flustered, "No!"

"Final answer? Willing naman akong gawin, sabihin mo lang," nang-aasar niyang sabi.

I made a face and stood up, "Yes, I'm sure. I'm really going. Bond with your friends, Trivion is getting jealous of the attention you're giving me. And baka gusto pa makipagtawanan sayo ni Kelsey"

"Awit! Loyal nga sabi ako sayo," natatawa niyang sabi. I rolled my eyes at him. Nagpaalam na ko sa kanya pero nagpumilit siya na ihatid ako sa sasakyan.

I just let him do what he want.

"There's your suitor, Sadz," Yvette excitedly pointed at Theo. She was so giddy when I told her how our talk went.

Weeks have passed since Theo admitted his feelings to me. True to his words, nothing much changed between us. He still interacts with me the way he did before. There are moments that he's sweeter but most of the times he still annoys me.
