ELISA

"So that's it! Thank you so much Schweizer! You're indeed a beast." I said and winked at him.

He smiled at what I did. I have known him for a long time and he was one of the people who helped me when I was just starting at my business. He's my business partner too. We had a meeting for the collaboration that we're going to bring in a few months.

"Grazie! I like yours too." He leaned on his chair and crossed his legs. He glanced up at me as if he were examining my whole being. He's a handsome man. His eyes are blue and his jaw is well defined. His eyelashes are perfectly curled and his body is godly.

"You're so handsome, Schweizer." He rolled his eyes at me that made me laugh. And yes, he is gay. But despite his gender, he is highly praised by popular fashion icons here in Europe. Including me. All fashion shows can't be called FASHION SHOW without him. He's very important in the fashion industry. And I'm very lucky that he became my friend.

"Oh s'il te plait, (oh please) Elisa! Don't call me by my surname and being handsome. I want to puke!" I laughed so hard for the way he acted.

"Désolé, Julian." (Sorry Julian)

"Yeah, that's better." He stood up and adjusted his necktie before facing me.

"How's your son? I heard from Kara that you bring your kid with you that's why I bring his favorite chicken wings." He pointed his finger on the paper bag behind him with the logo of the famous chicken restaurant here in Geneva.

"Thank you, Julian. He is in my office right now." I told him.

"Then let's go? I want to see him."

"Sure!"

When Julian and I got out of the conference room, we're welcomed by the eyes of my staff. They're swooning because of Julian's undeniable looks. Like Dominic, he also catches attention when every time he visits my company. Although there are many good men here in Geneva, their looks are still diverse. Especially Julian because of his captivating eyes.

He only smiled and nodded to those who greeted us. He is well known here in my company because he often visits me especially when we have an important business matter to discuss. When it comes to others, the behavior he demonstrates is very distinct. But when it's just the two of us, it does appear that he is far from what he looks like.

Naabutan namin na bukas ang pinto ng opisina ko kaya hindi ko na kailangan pang mag-enter ng passcode. Naabutan ko ang mag-ama na kumakain. Nakita ko din si Alex na nakikisalo sa kanila at panay ang daldal. Nakita ko naman ang pagtawa nila.

Napangiti ako sa nakita ko.

Their backs are facing us that's why they didn't notice me and Julian.

"You have visitors?" Sabi ni Julian.

"Yes..."

"Oh, okay. That two guy looks good." I ogled at him.

"Oh come on, Elisa. Don't give me that kind of look. I have a boyfriend." I laughed.

Pumasok na kaming dalawa. Tumikhin ako para kunin ang atensyon ng tatlo. Lumingon naman agad sakin si Eric. Sunod ang dalawa. Nanlaki pa ang mata ni Alex ng makita ako. Ewan ko lang kung dahil sa akin, o dahil sa kasama ko.

"Ma!– oh hi, oncle (uncle) Julian!" Bati nito kay Julian.

"Hi. How are you?" Lumapit ito kay Eric at inabot ang paper bag na kanina niya pa gustong ibigay sa anak ko.

"Woah! Chicken Wings! Merci, oncle!" (Thank you, uncle)

"Vous êtes les bienvenus." (You're welcome) Eric goes back to his seat.

I see Dominic who's just standing in front of us while looking at Julian. If looks were deadly, we might have knocked out already. And because I was traumatized by what Dominic had done to Marco, I put myself between them.

"Dominic, this is Julian Schweizer. My friend and my business partner. " Julian just looked back at him.

Nakaramdam yata si Julian kaya siya na ang unang bumati kay Dominic.

"Hey, my name is Julian. It's nice to meet you." He offered his hand to Dominic.

I sighed in relief after he accepted Julian's hand.

"Likewise."

They let go of each other's hand and I smiled.

"Let's eat. Alex is here." Dominic said and turned away.

Julian and I looked at each other.

"I think, he's jealous?" Bulong sakin ni Julian at kiniliti ako sa baywang.

Napatili ako dahil sa gulat.

Nakuha namin ang atensyon ni Dominic at kunot noong tumingin samin.

"Ma, are you okay?" Tanong ni Eric bago isubo ang chicken wing.

"Ah, yes! I'm okay."

"Why both of you don't join us? I ordered a lot. Kesa sa magharutan kayong dalawa, right?" Seryosong sabi ni Dominic.

Ano daw?

Nakita ko ang pagpipigil ni Alex na matawa. Pero itong kasama ko ay hindi naintindihan ang sinabi ni Dominic. Mabuti na lang at hindi nakaka-intindi ng tagalog si Julian.

My gosh! Hindi na ba siya nahiya? Kasama namin si Alex at ang anak ko!

"What did he say?" Tanong ni Julian.

I notice that he is not affected by Dominic's presence and the eerie eye that he's giving us earlier. Probably, because he has become accustomed to dealing with different types of people.

"Oh, don't mind him." Bulong ko sa kanya. "Do you want to eat outside?" I added.

I am anxious about what might happen. I know Dominic, I'm scared that he makes a move and do dumb things. I don't want to embarrass Julian.

"No, it's alright. Your man asked me to join, so I can't say no. That's rude, you know?" Sabi ni Julian sakin.

Napahinga na lang ako ng malalim.

Subukan mo lang talaga Dominic!
