"Dad? Do I really need to go back there para lang sa walang kwentang proposal na 'to?!" I complain.

I'm so upset because I need to go back to the Philippines for that meeting. Imagine, meeting lang tapos papupuntahin pa 'ko doon? Hays!

"Darling, you need to come back here. Hindi mo ba nami-miss ang pogi mong ama? Pati ang mama mong maganda?"

I rolled my eyes. Palibhasa kasi okay na sila ni mama.

"But dad..." I sighed.

"Okay fine! Babalik na ako dyan."

I said and threw down the business proposal that I'm holding. Baka kasi mapunit ko pa!

"Okay, I'll wait for you here. Where's Eric?"

"Nasa kuwarto niya po."

"Good night darling! Send my hugs and kisses to him."

I smiled.

"Good night dad. Ingat kayo dyan. I miss you."

"We miss you too."

I smiled and I hung up my phone.

I went to Eric's room and I hear him talking to someone.

I knocked.

"Eric?"

"M-ma!" I went inside as he immediately shut down his laptop.

"Why you're still not yet sleeping? May kausap ka ba?"

He just shook his head. I sit on his bed.

"W-Wala po ma."

"Okay." I looked at him. As he grows, he becomes more like his father.

"Why ma?"

I smiled.

"Have you finished your assignments?"

"Oui (yes) mama."

"Very good. How was your day?" I asked him.

Even though I am always busy, I won't tolerate him. He is smart and he's always the top 1 in his class. And I'm very proud of him.

"It's fun mama!"

"C'est bon bébé. (That's good baby)"

"Ma, stop calling me baby."

I laughed.

"But you're my baby. Halika nga dito." Naka-nguso siyang lumapit sa'kin sabay halik ko sa pisngi niya.

"Ma!" Natawa ako ulit.

"Why? Hindi mo na ba love si mama?" 

"Love."

"Eh bakit ayaw mo na magpa-kiss sa'kin? Siguro may nililigawan ka na 'no? Eric ha, you're just 7." I warned.

"Ma!" I laughed. Binibiro ko lang naman siya.

"I'm just kidding."

"Ma..."

"Hmmm?"

He looked at me. His eyes are beseeching as he likes to say something.

"May sasabihin ka ba? Come on, tell to mama." I said.

He bowed his head and whispered.

"I missed my dad."
