Elsa's POV
I managed to tell Anna and explain to her why I was so scared of being with her. Of course I didn't tell her of my power, I just talked to her like how I talked with Hiccup.
We finally got over the past and talked much more than we used to. Of course I'm still adjusting.
The thing I can't shake off my mind is the guy who talked to me. He was really shady, it sent shivers up my back.
He's coming.
Whoever it is who's coming, I sure hope so that it isn't soon. I don't even want to know.
...
I woke up the next morning, early, as always. I packed my binders on my blue bag, and then walked over to my white wardrobe. I decided to wear a white classic collar shirt with no sleeves which I tucked into the high waisted navy blue jeans I wore, and blue ballet flats. I put my hair down and my hair tied in the middle.
I put on my blue bomber jacket, and headed downstairs. Auntie was already preparing breakfast. "Morning Elsa," she said. "Morning Auntie," I replied. I sat down on the stool beside the island. Auntie Arianna served me some french toast. "Thanks Auntie Arianna," I said, before I ate.
After eating, I said goodbye, and quickly headed to school.
At the doors, I spotted Hiccup. He had his hair slicked back, and glasses on. He looked pretty cute. I called to him. "Hey Hiccup, you're early," I told him, as I caught up with him. We entered the school. "Yeah. I have to finish up Toothless' tail for the school games coming up," he said. "What's the school games?" I asked. "Oh, that's right. You're new to the school. Well, every year on the third week of September, there are these games called 'The Dream Games' that anyone in the school can sign up for. It takes up a whole week. It involves seven main games, and five rounds ( except for dragon racing ): Paintball, Dragon Racing, Archery, Fun Run, Tug of war, Mathematics, which everyone hates, and Fencing. It may seem like an excuse to skip school work, but these games are so the teachers can determine how well you work with others, how fast, focused, cooperative, strong, and smart you may be, and how good your reflexes are. Some people haven't even noticed to true meaning of it, and just want the prize," Hiccup explained. "What's the prize?" I asked. "The winning team gets a trip to a resort. And get this, the whole resort is reserved for the team who's won! Everything is already prepaid, and the trip is a week long. It happens over the winter break," Hiccup explained. "Wow! A trip to a resort!" I exclaimed. I smiled. I've never been to a resort. I would love to go to one. "Yeah. So, the contestants who decide to join are divided into three teams: Yellow, Blue, and Red. In every team, there are groups of five, if enough people sign up. Five people, for five rounds. Each person will get one round to do the games, but when it comes to teamwork games such as paintball, dragon racing, fun run, and tug of war, your whole group will have to participate. You only do it once if it's a teamwork game," Hiccup said.
The both of us continued to walk someplace. We spotted a free table, and decided to sit there. "So what is the fun run?" I asked. "It's like a relay, but you'd have to be doing something. For example, on the first run, you'd run to a changing tent, which is on the track you'd be racing on. Inside will be dark, and there'll be a costume inside which you have to change into. Then, you come out and race to the next person and tag them. That next person has to run to a box with papers inside. They have to pick one paper from inside the box and read it. It could say, for example: The person you like, or a smart person. Then, you run to your team and pick the person most befitting of the title, and you take that person to tag the third person. The third person of the group would have to run through an obstacle course such as: monkey bars, rock wall, tight rope walk (don't worry, if you fall, you'll land on a net), jump over railings three times, and swing over a sand pit. Next up are the last two. These two will be having a three legged race to the finish. It's not that easy though. They'd have to maneuver past large poles, crawl under nets, and squeeze past walls. Much like the obstacle course, except much easier. The first one to reach the end is the winner of that game," Hiccup said.
The Principal is really eccentric to have come up with such ideas. Either way, I could tell Hiccup was excited. His eyes were sparkling and full of it.
"I've better get going now. I need to finish up Toothless' tail," he said. Before he left, he added, "You seem more better than yesterday. You look better smiling than frowning."
I blushed. I felt all the warmth rush up to my cheeks.
My heart started to throb. No one has ever told me I looked better at smiling.
What am I feeling right now?
...
It was English my first period with Mrs. Pots. We were allowed to sit with friends, so Rapunzel and Jack waved at me to come over. They were the only people I knew as of the moment.
"Good Morning class, today we'll get on with the lesson. Turn to page twenty in your English Booklet," Mrs. Pots demanded. She was a sweet old woman. Her lectures were always soft and learnable, and she always teaches with a soft voice.
We continued on with the lesson.
After finishing up the pages she assigned us, I got up and asked permission to go to the washroom. Mrs. Pots gave a nod and I left.
I finished my business, washed my hands, and left the room. As I walked out, I put on my gloves, but before I could put the last one on, I bump into someone. Hiccup.
"We keep bumping into each other today," he said, chuckling. I couldn't help but think the same. He spoke, "I'm heading over to my locker right now to pick up my Math textbook."
Elsa! Conceal! Conceal..! Conceal...
I told myself. "Hey, Elsa? You ok?" he asked worriedly as he reached out to grabbed my hand. No!
I slapped his hand away. "I-I'm fine! I'm s-sorry!" I cried. I stared at him with eyes full of tears. "I'm... I'm sorry!" I apologized again, running as far away from him as possible.
I headed over to the office to take a sick leave. I told them my stomach was acting up, probably from breakfast this morning, and how I could've eaten something I wasn't supposed to eat. They asked for my first class, and soon called my teacher afterwards.
Rapunzel came with my things a few minutes later. "Elsie you ok? Did mom feed you something your allergic to this morning?" she asked. I lied and said, "Probably..." She handed me my bag. I waved goodbye to her and walked home since my Aunt and Uncle were busy with work.
I got home ten minutes later. Our house wasn't so far from school so I didn't have to walk far.
I opened the door and entered my home. I searched the cupboards of the kitchen for chocolates, and I've found some. I took a few boxes and walked upstairs and into my frosty room. I opened my door and locked it.
I threw my bag to the side and jumped onto my bed, eating the chocolates.
"I can't believe I just did that..." I groaned. I curled into a ball, and started to cry.
