Hikaru took a deep breath then shouted:

“NORI! I SWEAR I’M GETTING STIFF OVER HERE SEND ME SOME! QUIT SENDING IT TO THESES GRANDPAS ON THE FIELD!”

All of Seido’s defense gained the same aggravation they get with Eijun. However Kawakami smiled and for some reason felt calm,

'You two, Hikaru Eijun, you two are really something else.'Kawakami thought

The infield moved up why Hikaru turned his body at an angle. Jun looked at Hikaru with a confused expression.

‘Even if you hit infield…I’ll rip you to shreds.’ Hikaru thought

Mishima was hitting founds fouls after fouls…Hikaru saw Mishima moving for the ball, and made contact. Nori went to catch it, but he couldn’t and Kuramochi went for it.

‘No good.’Hikaru thought as Kuramochi slid for it.

Hikaru watched as Raichi ran home…giving a high five to the number nine batter.  Seido was yelling at Kawakami again…..but Hikaru could feel it. So he took off. Yakushi’s batter hit Kawakami’s ball pitch and threw hit in the outfield. Everyone from Seido thought the worse, but they all froze when they saw Hikaru stretching for the ball, with Jun right behind him. Hikaru stretched his hand out ignoring the blistering pain and caught the ball. Then without a second glace threw it up to Jun who threw it to Yuki shouting:

“DON’T GET COKCY WITH US!”

However the runner for Yakushi was safe. Hikaru stood up and put his hat back on and walked back to his place on the field. Jun watched him go.  Hikaru tried to predict this batter’s moves, but for some reason Hikaru’s mind was still clouded.

‘Why can’t I focus?’Hikaru wondered

Hikaru watched as Kawakami pitched his ball only to have the Yakushi batter hit it, and Yuki try to catch it but miss it… It was too late for Furuya once he got the ball to throw it anywhere. All of Yakushi’s batters were safe on their bases.

‘Runner on first and third….’Hikaru thought

It was then Hikaru’s mind started to tempt him to go into dark spot of giving up and Hikaru was really tempted to join them….with the score  Yakushi Five to Seido Six, it felt nice to rest…However…Hikaru noticed Coach Kataoka making a change in players. Hikaru looked to see who was Yakushi’s batter only to see Sanada…then Hikaru looked to see who was coming out for Kawakami only to see Tanba.

‘An ace for an ace….maybe I can go off for a while.’ Hikaru thought

Hikaru felt his eyes close then reopen close and reopen. Hikaru then snapped awake as he heard Jun shouting at him.

“OI ARE YOU OKAY OR DO I HAVE TO KICK YOU OFF THE FIELD!?”Jun shouted

Hikaru looked at Jun and to tell you the truth the look Hikaru had scared Jun.

‘He looks like he’s about to collapse.’Jun thought

Everyone gathered on the mound to meet to see Tanba. However; once Tanba got there he looked to Hikaru and said:

“I need to know are you going to be able to finish this game.”

Everyone looked at Tanba confused, but Hikaru knew what he was talking about…the heat and muscles spasms told Hikaru no, but what came out of Hikaru’s mouth was:

“I wanna give them a six times no one hundred times of the dread the gave my brother, Furuya, and Nori….and right now if I left the field I would leave the field with regrets…and that’s not the type of baseball I play Tanba-Senapi.”Hikaru said

Everyone smirked once they heard this. Tanba sighed then replied:

“You better not slack then. If I see you slaking any I’m pulling you off the field..”

Hikaru smirked then nodded. Eijun looked at his sibling and noticed that the smirk he was wearing a was a forced one, and he could also hear what his sibling had said….

‘Hikaru, you’re pushing yourself to much. You really will break this time.’ Eijun thought ‘Are you doing this for me?? Hikaru stop…’
