i sat there drifting into my own version of dreamland, as the boys talked amongst themselves. different lyrics to all kinds of songs were flowing through my mind.
"payton?" ethan said, waving his hand in front of my face, pulling me back onto the conversation.
"yeah, what's up?" i smiled.
"we lost you there for a bit." he chuckled.
"oh." i laughed.
"you okay?" he asked as i nodded.
"what were you thinking about?" Jack asked.
"songs." i smiled.
"ooh which ones?"
"is this an interrogation?" i giggled.
"nooo." he laughed.
"uhh well the songs i was thinking about are, dear god by dax, popular monster by falling in reverse, i think i'm okay and candy by MGK, and topanga by trippie." i smiled once more as they nodded.
"topanga is a good song." james laughed as he didn't know the rest.
"they all are." i smiled, adding,
"i highly recommend."
"payton has a giant crush on machine gun kelly." ethan chuckled.
"i dooo." i giggled.
"he's daddy." i said, making the boys gag out of "disgust."
"oh shut up." i laughed, which made Ethan laugh.
"i wanna see Colson in concert so bad." i groaned.
"y'know also i'm almost 18 so it's like almost legal, if we were to ever date." i laughed.
((we are gonna pretend he's only 20))
"eh." jack laughed.
"five days babygirl." ethan said, making the boys stare at him.
"yeeee five days till my birthday." i smiled.
"where does the time go?" ethan laughed.
"OH WAIT WATCH THIS." i yelled remembering a video i found on my instagram feed the other day.
i quickly connected my phone to the tv and hit play on the video. it was a compilation of colson singing candy, but in a different way. (video above)
"ew." james laughed, once we finished the video.
"i believe ms. payton's got a thing for calling people daddy." ethan laughed, making me hit his arm.
"never." i giggled.
"we shall look on his instagram now." i laughed, going into instagram.
"the best part is, she's not even some crazy psycho fan. She found out about him a week ago and has only listened to around four songs. but she thinks he's 'hot' sooo." ethan said, making me nod.
"i'm really not some crazed fan." i giggled.
"holy shit he follows JJ." i laughed.
"you aren't even following him." jack said.
"well then." i laughed, clicking follow.
after what felt like hours of messing around and joking, we decided to head to sleep.
i sent a quick message to luke, and the payed down in bed with ethan.
payton- goodnighttttt excited to see you in the am :))
luke- goodnight payton i'll see you at school <3
"who's that?" ethan asked, resting his chin on my shoulder.
"the kid i met at the park earlier." i said, putting phone down and turning to face him.
"i'm tired." he whispered.
"me too." i smiled, as my eyes felt heavy.
"goodnight." he smiled, kissing my cheek.
"goodnight, sunshine." i said, which made ethan chuckle.
