Hi, all my lovely Alan fans.

Let me update you on my absence:
As much as I love writing about Alan, it took over my life in every aspect. My social life, my family life, my work, my studies, everything. I would even dream about what I'm going to write next and when I couldn't crank out the chapters soon enough, I would get frustrated with myself.

I started thinking I'm doing the writing all for nothing, and then I doubted whether my portrayal of Alan is even correct or if I'm just making up a bunch of crock. I honestly hope there's still people out there that read this fanfic!

I have six months left before handing in my thesis for my Masters Degree in Design, and like I said, writing this has taken over my studies. I'm still not on social media again, although I am posting once every two weeks.

As for this fanfic, I'm going to take my time writing it and ONLY WHEN I HAVE TIME. I've become so addicted to it, that I need to take a step back. That said, I'm not giving up on it, I never will. But for the next six months I might not update on a weekly basis. After I (hopefully) successfully submit my thesis then I'll be able to go back to a weekly update schedule which I'm looking so much forward to!
