14. a. Finding Out The Gender

This morning me and Y/ N went to the hospital for her second scan. She's 20 weeks now so we could find out the gender of our baby and we did. Well we got the sonographer to put the gender in an envelope for us as we wanted to find out at home in our own time. We are really excited to find out if our baby is a boy or a girl. I'm going for girl and Y/ N is going for boy but we don't really mind of course. We are at home now debating when to open the envelope and find out. "Babe, I'm so excited to find out the gender of our baby Boo" I say. "I know you are. I am too" she replies. "Can I get the envelope?" I ask. "Sure if you're eager to find out" Y/ N replies. "Yessss I am" I reply. I go and get the envelope we got given earlier. I sit on the couch next to Y/ N and we look at it. "Are you ready, jagiya?" I say. "Yep I'm more than ready" she said. "Let's close our eyes and open them at the same time" I say. She smiles. We close our eyes and I open the envelope and remove the piece of paper. "3, 2, 1. Open!" I say. We open our eyes. "It's a boy!" we both say in unison. "We are having a baby boy, Kwanie" Y/ N said. "We are. Ahhhhh, darling. I'm so happy" I reply. "Me too. Our little boy, Kwanie. He's gonna be just like you" she said. "Oh yeah. Baby Boo is a baby boy" I smile pulling Y/ N in for a kiss. We are so delighted to find out that our baby is a boy. We are having a son

Jeonghan 🧡

This afternoon is my next baby scan. I don't think we want to know the gender of our child just yet. We want to wait a bit and keep guessing we think. We are almost at the hospital now. Jeonghan and I can't wait to get there. He keeps on smiling at me and holding my hand. Awww he's so cute. We get there and I check in. "Can't wait, babe" Jeonghan said. "Me too" I reply. "We get to see our little bean again" he said. "Yes me too. So exciting" I smile. Soon I get called in for my scan. We get greeted by the lady and I sit down on the bed. Jeonghan sits next to me and holds my hand. We look at the screen as she examines me. "You seem to be having twins, Mr and Mrs Yoon" she said. "What? Really? That didn't come up on my first scan" I reply. "Look if you see. The second baby is behind the first baby. That's why we didn't see it at your first scan" she said. "Ah. Wow! We are having twins, Hannie" I reply. "I wasn't expecting that but it's great" Jeonghan replies. "Would you like to know the genders of the babies while you're here?" she asks. Jeonghan and I both look at each other and say "No thank you. We think we want to wait for a little bit". "No problem that's fine. Congratulations" the lady said. We just had my second scan and found out that we are having twins. Wow! That's amazing. We didn't want to know the genders as we already agreed before. Keeps us guessing and twice now as we are having two babies

The genders will be kept a secret till labor and delivery. Can you guess?

Me and Wonwoo are at the hospital waiting for my next scan. My second scan. We are also going to find out the genders of our twins too. Wonwoo wants two boys whereas I want a boy and a girl but anything would be nice. We are so excited to find out if the babies are boys or girls. Wonwoo won't keep his hands off me in the waiting room. "Will you stop fidgeting?" I say. "I'm excited, babe. This is a big moment" he said. "I know. I'm excited too, Wonwoo" I reply. "Well not long now" he replies. We get called in by the same lady who did my first scan. "Hi" she said. "Hi" I say. "How are you?" she asked. "I'm good. Thanks" I reply. I lay on the bed and she starts examining me. Wonwoo sits beside me. The lady examines me for about 10 minutes. "So are you ready to find out the genders of your babies today, Y/ N?" she asks. "Yes we are please. We would love to" I reply. "Well I can see a boy and another boy. Congratulations you are having twin boys" she said. "Yesssss boys. My boys" Wonwoo said. "Yay! We are having boys, Wonwoo" I say. He smiles and throws his arms around me and hugs me. "I'm so happy. I'm going to be a dad to twin boys" Wonwoo said. "I know, honey. I'm so happy too" I reply. Wonwoo and I leave the hospital feeling very happy to find out the genders of our twins. We are having twin boys. So happy. Wonwoo is the happiest I must say. Can't wait to tell everyone

Seokmin 💚

We are on our way to the hospital for my next scan with Dr Kim. We've also decided that we would like to know the gender of our little one today if we can. We should be able to as I'm 21 weeks now. We are in the car and almost there. Seokmin is driving. "So do you think it's a boy or a girl, babe?" he asks. "Don't know. Could be either" I reply. "Yeah I know" Seokmin replies. "I would really like a little girl though" I reply. "Yeah me too. Having a little girl would be cute" he smiles. We arrived at the hospital and checked in and waited to be called in. Dr Kim calls me in with a smile on his face. "How are things going, Y/ N? Sorry i couldn't be here last time" he said. We follow him in and he starts examining me. "The lady who covered for me last time told me that the baby's heartbeat was a bit low. Let's see if it's picked up" Dr Kim said. "She said it was nothing to worry about" I reply. "Ohhhh yeah it's much stronger now you'll be pleased to know" he said. Dr Kim carries on examining me a bit longer and made everything is okay with the baby. "Y/ N, would you like to know the gender. I can tell you" Dr Kim said. "Yes please. Me and Seokmin would really like to know" I reply. "It's a girl!" he said. "Yessss a girl. We are having a daughter. Ahhhhh I'm so happy" Seokmin said. "Me too. I've always wanted a little princess" I reply. "Well we've been blessed with one right now" I smile. The scan went great today and we found out that our baby is a little girl and we couldn't be happier
