Chase's POV November 14th 2:33 Am
The waves are crashing harshly below us as we stand on the balcony, looking out into the stars.
the smoke of our cigarettes being the only thing filling the quiet space between Abel and I.
I want to know why he brought me here, being here is the last place I should be and I know that, yet something inside me didn't allow me to resist, just being in his presence is enough for me to say yes to anything he has to ask, but I need to let the attachment I have for this boy go, he's only keeping more and more secrets, and I came here hoping that he would reveal some of the skeletons that are slowly but surely decaying in his closet.
His eyes meet mine as he lets the smoke flow through the middle of his lips.
I raise an eyebrow before taking another puff.
Abel: I've missed you.
I go quiet
Him, looking deeper into my eyes.
Abel: I've missed you so much, we haven't been alone since, the contract.
I nod my head not having much to say
He should know why
Abel: I do, you know I do, but Chase, we live together now, yet I feel more distant from you than I ever have.
I hit my cigarette once more.
Me: That's because there no need for there to be contact between you and I, there's no need for cordiality when I've been kept in the dark longer than I was even aware, when were you going to tell me Alex fell in love with you, when were you going to tell me that I was just another Alex.
