"You good Sammy!" Dean shouted for his little brother as he cut off another vampire's head.

"Yeah." Sam panted as he tried to make his way through the swarm. The brothers stood back to back facing down a nest.

The Winchester brothers had come to the small town in Georgia for a hunt. Bodies were dropping, drained of blood. They had severely underestimated the amount of vampires in the nest.

"Call for Cas!" Sam said frantically dodging out of the way of an attack. "It's our only shot."

"Cas we need some help down here!" Dean called too tired to argue.

The familiar sound of wings filled the warehouse.

Dean and Sam backed away as the vampires scattered.

Dean watched the young woman in shock as she padded towards the vampires. She walked with grace and poise, her head held high.

The monsters retreated staring at the newcomer. The fighting coming to a stop.

Her (Y/H/C) hair blew along her shoulders framing her face. Her (Y/E/C) eyes held the calm danger of a person who held power.

She paused in front of the Winchester brothers who froze staring back at her.

A few vampires daringly wandered forward, wondering if she was on their side. They froze when the girl shot them a withering look that could freeze fire.

The woman turned on her heel. She looked over her shoulder at the brothers. "Close your eyes." She said softly.

     "Who are you?" Sam challenged.

The (Y/H/C) haired girl grinned. White wings spread to either side of her form. Golden light seemed to weave through the feathers.

Dean threw himself at his brother intending to shield him.

Both of the hunters closed their eyes as hot light spread through the warehouse.

When everything went dark again they opened their eyes to see the woman was standing in front of them. "Sam, Dean." She greeted with a grin. Her (Y/E/C) eyes sparkled with amusement rather than danger this time. "It's so great to finally meet you! Cas talks endlessly about you two!"

     "You're an angel." Dean stated.

"My name's (Y/N)." She grinned with a nod. "Cas sent me. He said you two might need help."

"What has he told you about us?" Sam asked warily.

(Y/N) looked up at him and shrugged. "Mostly how you two have saved the world and stuff." She turned to walk out of the warehouse. "Coming?" She asked over her shoulder.

The brothers shared a look before following after her.

"May I join you?" She asked politely as the trio approached the impala.

"You're not going to shed in my car or something are you?" Dean demanded glancing at her wings.

Sam shot his brother an odd look.

(Y/N) tucked her wings back in self consciously. "No." She laughed brushing a strand of (Y/H/C) hair out of her face.

Dean nodded and they all got into the impala. On the ride back to the bunker Dean constantly looked in the rear view mirror. The angel had fallen asleep and was sleeping soundly with her white wings wrapped around her. Dean swore she should've been wearing a white dress and halo to go with the stereotypical image of her wings. Despite the wings everything else about her seemed normal.

"You're drooling." Sam teased from the passenger seat.

"Shut up." Dean grumbled focusing his eyes back on the road. The green eyed hunter couldn't help but glance back again. "What's with her wings?" He wondered aloud. "We've never seen Cas' wings."

Sam turned to look into the backseat. All he could see was a sleeping woman. "What are you talking about?"

Dean looked at his brother out of the corner of his eye. "What you can't see them?"

Sam gave Dean a skeptical look wondering if his brother was pulling his leg.

"Dude, they're like fifteen feet long and pure white. How can you not see them?"

"What happened to you back there?" Sam retorted wondering if Dean had hit his head in the vamp nest.

"Nothing." Dean replied disgruntled by the exchange.

(Y/N) woke a few hours later when they were just approaching the bunker.

"So, what vessel are you in?" Sam asked.

(Y/N) yawned tucking her wings in being mindful to not get any of her feathers in the car. "This woman was being attacked by demons." She replied. "She wouldn't have survived, so I sent her on her way to heaven after asking her to use her vessel. She was very grateful to escape the pain. I killed them all for her."

Dean parked the impala in the garage and (Y/N) followed them into the bunker.

Cas looked up from where he was chatting with Jack in front of the world map.

"Cas! Jack!" (Y/N) greeted rushing ahead of the Winchesters and pulling Cas into a hug followed quickly by Jack.

     "Hello Ariel." Cas greeted.

(Y/N) frowned up at him. "You know I prefer my vessel's name." She said slapping his arm.

"Your name suits you. Lion of God" Castiel argued.

(Y/N) only rolled her (Y/E/C) eyes.

     "Hi (Y/N)." Jack smiled.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Dean said holding up his hands for a time out. "You know her?" He demanded looking at the nephilim boy accusingly.

"Cas took me to meet her once." Jack replied.

Dean shook his head deciding to let it go. "Who wants a beer?" He asked moving towards the kitchen as Sam headed towards his room to freshen up after the hunt.

As soon as the brothers had left (Y/N) turned to Castiel. "Cas, I think Dean can see my wings." She whispered.

     "What?!" Cas and Jack exclaimed.

"He was staring earlier." She mumbled her wings fluttering nervously.

Cas frowned at the revelation. He didn't want any person to be his sister's soulmate but if it had to be someone at least it was Dean Winchester.

Dean came back into the room with four beers, two in each hand. He passed them out to Cas, Jack, and (Y/N). Keeping one for himself.

The four of them all silently took a long drink from the bottles.

(Y/N) coughed lightly at the taste. Her wings shuddered at the bitterness and she set the beer down on the table.

Dean glanced over at the movement.

(Y/N) looked pointedly at Cas and he realized that his sister had been right.

     Dean Winchester was (Y/N)'s soulmate.
