The Gilbert girl swiftly turned her neck to face Damon so fast that she thought that she broke her neck as she glared at the vampire like a fierce lion. "I am doing this for my family," Emily angrily snapped from the fact that the vampire couldn't understand why she was doing all of this. The Gilbert girl had to force herself to take a deep breath to calm down before she quietly added as she thought about her two best friends and how she failed them, "but I'm not exactly doing a good job."

The Salvatore vampire instantly rolled his blue eyes while he ignored the second part of Emily's sentence as he figured that she was just being dramatic or looking for sympathy. "Oh, yeah, right," Damon muttered in annoyance before he, once again, glared at the Gilbert girl as he exclaimed in a rant about how he basically felt about this plan of hers, "if you were doing this for us, you would't be going along with some witchy mojo crap. You wouldn't just accept this and your death. You would fight!"

This time, Emily couldn't hold in her anger any longer as she snapped underneath her breath while she squeezed her green eyes closed when she felt the warm tears clouding her irises, "oh, fuck you, Damon!" The Gilbert girl briefly shook her head as she tried to get control of her emotions before she looked over to the bitter vampire with a softness but still fierceness to her green irises.

"I'm doing this because I love you guys so much that I don't want anyone to die," Emily tried to explain herself for the hundredth time today. The Gilbert girl shot the vampire a small smile as she murmured, "I trust this plan. You're just scared, Damon - and I understand that, but you have to trust that I know what I'm doing."

Damon instantly shook his head in denial to what the Gilbert girl wanted from him. "I'm not going to be okay with you dying, ever!" The Salvatore vampire snapped in frustration from the fact that Emily wasn't understanding what he was saying. Damon tightly grabbed ahold of the human girl's wrist before he, once again, tried to get through to his girlfriend's sister, "we can fight this and we can keep everyone safe."

Emily bitterly released a small chuckle that was anything but humorous as she recalled how she had tried to keep everyone safe but that didn't help her two best friends. "We can't," the Gilbert girl mumbled as she knew there was no way around protecting everyone when it was so easy for Klaus to grab the Forbes vampire and the Lockwood werewolf.

The Saltzman teacher couldn't help but immediately furrow his brows at the Gilbert girl's words. "What do you mean?" Alaric confusingly inquired before he commented with a tint of worry for the human Petrova doppelganger ringing all throughout his voice, "I thought the plan was working out. I-I thought everything was ready for tonight."

Emily kept her green eyes locked onto the rows of alcohol for a solid two minutes as she tried to get control of her emotions before she faced her two fellow drinking buddies with tears clouding her green irises while she slowly shook her head. "Klaus too-" the Gilbert girl had began to tell the duo about the kidnapping of her two best friends.

However, before Emily could even tell them about what the hybrid had done, she was all too soon interrupted by an unfamiliar voice. "Now, sweetheart, don't go telling all of my secrets," Klaus, in his original body, told his doppelganger as he slowly walked towards the trio with a smirk lazily playing on his plump and pink lips.

The Gilbert girl couldn't help but furrow her brows at the unfamiliar voice calling her by a pet name, so she slowly turned around to see who was bothering her on a very emotional day. Emily's green eyes instantly widened in shock, though, when she realized that she knew who was standing in front of her without him even saying his name.

It felt like flashes of memories flipped through Emily's mind as she stared across at the man, who she remembered having dreams about at the beginning of the year when the Salvatore brothers arrived in Mystic Falls. The Gilbert girl had never really thought much of it at the time because she would just see his face in the background of her dreams, so Emily never thought it was important until she was staring into his dark blue-green eyes that she could see they held so much evilness in them that Emily thought she was staring right at Lucifer.
